Hawaii Kai's Boston Style Pizza

In Hawaii it's always hard to find genuinely good East Coast style pizza, but thankfully a chance situation of convenience helped us find this one. I had been to some of their other locations, and just didn't like them for whatever reason. The pizzas are great here, which may be from the staff that makes them.These are thin style pizzas, the sauce is on the sweet side, with soft crust without being gooey or soggy (some pet peeves). I tried slices of the veggie and plain on the first visit; slices are a 1/4 of a pie which is fun. Just to see if it was still good, we ordered a fresh plain on another occasion and loved it. Prices are reasonable for their pies, with various toppings and combinations offered or make your own. It's a tiny spot with a hand full of tables inside; I love that the staff are always watching fun movies to pass the time. It's definitely more of a to-go place.It's easily located in Hawaii Kai, making it a neighborhood spot, right at a gas station so it's easy to bring home.

Pizza is always good here, love that the service is fast, you pick your pizza at the counter and they rewarm it in the oven so that it's fresh again! 12/2024 Recently they had wings so we tried it and loved it! The outside was crispy and the inside was moist!! Thought it would've been frozen wings but it didn't seem like it , would definitely order it again and now we don't have to stop of Safeway to get some wings!

I loved pizza to no end and always attempted to try any parlor I found wherever I was at. And, this gave me the opportunity to further explore the cuisine in and around Hawaii Kai. As for "Boston" in the name, I couldn't find anything definitive why. Built with bacon, ham, Italian sausage, pepperoni, Portuguese sausage, and red sauce, in addition to jalapeños because I felt it needed some kind of vegetable, this gave me immediate meat sweats as I gazed upon it. With the option of having it sliced into 4's, 8's, or 16's, I chose the latter. I picked up my first slice and the weight of the toppings made it limp. Once I guided it into my mouth, the meatgasm began! Everything was fresh, and I was able to distinctly taste the bacon, Italian sausage and Portuguese sausage. The jalapeño added a nice contrast and spiciness. The crust was thin and needed to be thicker to handle all of the toppings. Surprisingly, it had a pandesal taste which I loved! I was able to make this last for a couple of days which saved me some money. I am so glad we still have one good option for take out pizza in Hawaii Kai. Boston Pizza always has a few pie selections in the glass case at any time during their business hours. My favorites are the big western or carbonara. They also have some special pizza of the day that is different from their normal selections. The service is quick and once you select the pizza, they cut it in half and place it into their oven for quick heating. You can also let them know not to heat it and take it back home for later. Parking is usually available as they share the lot with 7-Eleven so people are in and out very quickly.

LOVE Boston's pizza. Called ahead on the drive home from town to Hawaii Kai, and the pizza came out of the oven the second we walked up to the counter. Pizza was so big, it got folded up a bit when they closed the box. Tiny space inside - I'd say take out is the way to go here.

Anytime I'm craving a well made slice of pizza, the first place I think to go to is Boston's pizza. Each slice is packed with tons of delicious ingredients and each one certainly appears more substantial and healthier than most fast food pizza places. I'm always greeted with a smile whenever I enter and I love that everything gets made from the time you make an order so you know it hasn't been sitting out all day. Excellent in every way

I go to Boston Pizza since Pizza Hut and Papa John's closed. I like their selection, especially the spicy western. The service is fast and efficient. It's a classic pizzeria. They have the classic oven and everything. I like the ambiance even though it's hot inside.

I ordered 4 pizzas for my kids birthday parties. I was even able to order my pizza a day ahead. I had asked for the pizzas to be ready at opening which was 11:00am. They said I could pick up at 11:20. When I got there the pizzas were done and cute into 16 slices.The pizzas were delicious and a hit. All my guests were excited to eat Boston's pizza. There was only a few slices left and were immediately eaten the next day!Great and friendly customer service. They are very efficient and timely. 100% would use them again and again.

Overall, Boston Style Pizza is great if you like that thin pizza kine. My personal favorite is the Big Red if I'm feeling like I want more veggies and if I'm in the meat mood, I'll do Meat Lovers. Some of the pizza slices Individually can be hit/miss depending on what time you're coming. Some days have tasted fresher/better than other times. Service has been overall good and easy to call in your order for takeout. It does take some time so make sure to call ahead.

Hot delicious pizza. Highly recommend after a day hiking Makapuu lighthouse or koko head, crater or body surfing Sandy's. Chance um handsome.
