I arrived there on Saturday, a little early. The guy said get 15 min. more so I sat patiently. They were still setting up their tables. As it did start, I saw nice papayas, and vegetables too! The farmers were helpful and friendly to talk. Kahuku papayas are sweet and very good! Love it. All their vegetables are fresh and good! Only problem was HANDIVAN couldn't drop me off in that location: Park n ride at Hawaii Kai...had a long walk on a hot day!

No sign to mark this hidden gem tucked in the back of Hawaii Kai Town Center, to the right of the pavilion. Wide selection of good-looking produce, will definitely come regularly to support local farmers! As another Yelper indicated, they're open Wednesdays and Saturdays only - and the woman operating the register said they'd be closed Sept. 18, 2017 because they'd be going to California for vacation. She said they'd be back Sept. 30 but unclear whether the market would be open that day.

Just experienced the Hawaii Kai Farmers Market last Saturday and it is a hidden gem for sure! The boy, the dog and I went after an early Koko head hike to check it out and grab some breakfast. We decided it was too early for pizza, although the wood-fired pizza smelled great, and opted for Homestyle Mexican food from a food truck. I am not sure of the exact name of the truck but holy moly, I wish I was paying more attention to it because the food was awesome! I had the huevos rancheros, which I would HIGHLY recommend. Everything was fresh (even the refried beans seem homemade!) and the eggs were perfectly done on hand made tortillas! We were able to pick up kale, beets and some non-GMO green banana chips! Everyone was so nice and accommodating! There was even a kids corner where the little ones were making ornaments while their parents shopped! There was an area for sitting and eating and an acoustic guitar serenade. The number of vendors was not huge but ranged from jewelry to prepared food to farm-fresh fruits and vegetables. My only drawback was that dogs are not allowed so we had to hurry because Koa was in the car. ....But I can understand since there are food vendors!I will definitely be back, even if it is just for the awesome mexican food!

This Farmer's Market runs Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7:30 am to 3pm. Located behind Panda Express, facing the marina. Not a big set up, which is why I dropped a star, but worth the visit for sure. They are tucked away in the corner and had a good variety of fruits and veggies. I bought the best pineapple I ever had, and it stayed fresh til we finished it in just under a week. Sweet and juicy and not too firm. Smelled amazing too.People were friendly and would definitely go again!

Love to support our local farmers... good salt-of-the-earth people. Go here for papaya, sweet potato, bok choy, onions... and a bunch of other local produce... Only 1 hour in our area-- so don't be late!

Just noting I don't think the farmers' market at HK Towne Center is there anymore. There's still a Saturday market at the Hawaii Kai Park and Ride on Saturdays from 1-2 pm according to their website.

A small market, mostly food trucks. Better than the crowds at other markets. The proceeds are for a good cause.
