Raining cats and dogs and what better way to enjoy good lau lau!...Steamed in my bamboo basket and served with fresh hot rice and lumpia..Yes, it's expensive , but when you crave it and it's available... why not..Back in the day, we'd travel to the island and bring back frozen lau lau in coolers!

Love the friendly helpful staffs that answer calls on ordering!! My family and I love to buy in bulk whether it's cold or hot for our parties. Yummy laulaus and kalua pig!!

My first phone call with this place to inquire about ordering, if I could pay via phone. She said yes. I explained to the lady my plan, mom was to pick up, I would want to pick it up frozen. Their website said it was 8.69 pr tray (3 in a tray). She informed me that it was a min of $30 and that prices changed to $10 a tray because they were bought by a different company. I told her I'd double check with my mom about how many she can bring up and id call her back. Ten minutes later after getting off the phone with mom. I call back, spoke to the same lady. Told her I'd place an order $100 worth of laulau, the one that has 3 in a tray- frozen. Gave her my cc number, told her mom would pick up. She was rushing me and got my order wrong. I asked to repeat my order and she said I was getting 3 party trays of laulau. I could sense she was irritated when I told her it wasn't what I ordered. Told me to just pay in the store when I get in. I repeated multiple times that my mom was getting it and I prefer to pay now. She literally said "ok, you want to charge it, thanks bye". 1. Not sure how much a party tray is, but I hope she didn't charge it for that. 2. I hope my order is correct because it was hard enough to my mom to agree to pick it up. I'll update my review on Saturday when it gets picked up.

Credit card purchases will be an additional 3% charge on top of your order. Awesome customer service in the sales office. Easy and quick service. Will definitely be back for my bulk laulau order when I don't want to make my own.

We pick up lau lau here every week for our lunch wagon, aunty that takes the order is always very nice and the Lau lau is always ready and waiting for me when I pre order..they also sell ti leaves by itself, kalua pig,char siu,sausages,lomi salmon and all that other hawaiian food goodies..located in waipio right behind costco.

Cyndy's Bottom Line: Love the pau hana pack! It is convenient and heats up well!Since I live on the mainland I'm always graving for Hawaiian food and unfortunately I can't find any here. Upon my last visit my Mom said that she bought a frozen pack of Hawaiian food that I could take back. It is the pau hana pack consisting of a pork laulau, kalua pig and Portuguese sausage all made in Hawaii! It is distributed by Kala Kokua, LLC.Mahalo for the bright idea of packaging Hawaiian food. It is easy to defrost approximately 3 minutes on a quick defrost. Then microwave for 2 minutes covered with a dampened paper towel works well. The food comes out perfectly! It taste like home! ONOLICIOUS!Mahalo nui loa!

I got wonderful service from the phone call order and costs to the pick up, which was fast. Really nice people. I got the mini laulau, lomi salmon and smoked meat. The laulau was excellent as was the salmon. They give it to you warm or chilled without the ti leaf wrapped around each one so make it easy to serve. The smoked meat @$6 per pound was a big hit and did not have a lot of fat. Very tasty and perfect pupu. If you have a party or pot luck, this is definitely a go-to place.

I know a lady named Dace Lintao that works in this place and she told me on how good the food is. I tried them and they were amazing! I wonder what is her job in this wonderful place.
