This is a new 4DFX theater located in the Tapa Tower of the Hiton Hawaiian Village. We walked by it daily since we were staying in the Tapa Tower, so on our last night in town, we decided to check it out!We were on vacation, so of course we wanted to see the Soaring Over Hawaii film. But they also have a few others, including Mother Earth, Adventure Quest, Roller Coasters, and One Planet One People. Price is usually $20 per adult, but they were running a 30% off promo on their website, so the price was knocked down to $14 plus the taxes and fees.We booked the last showing of the evening but arrived early to look around. We were given the option to switch to an earlier showing but declined. They have a tiny arcade in the back that you can play for free while you wait for your movie. There's also the option to pay to play VR games if you have 2 people, but we did not partake, so I'm unsure of the price. Our showing ended up being totally empty, so we basically had a private screening! Good thing we didn't switch our times!Soaring Over Hawaii was pretty cool, and we got to see aerial views of the major Hawaiian Islands. The seats move with the camera, and the water effects catch you off guard sometimes. The theater looks extremely new and clean, and the seats are plush and comfortable.Overall we thought this was a fun experience although at the normal $20 per person price it does seem a little steep for a 13 min film. But at the discounted price we thought it was worth it. Hopefully they will decide to make the discounted price permanent! They have discounts for locals, children, the military, and seniors if you qualify for one of those groups!

Honestly, the quality wasn't HD and if I'm paying $20 a ticket for a 15min film I'd expect it to not be blurry. The chairs were cool as they move with the film other than that, my girlfriend and I weren't a fan. Don't waste your money here. YouTube has some clips for free.

Super fun experience! Stopped by here on a trip with my family to enjoy a quick film and was pleasantly surprised. We saw "Soaring over Hawaii", the panoramic shots were so beautiful and the effects were very immersive! Can't wait to come back and watch their other films.
