I look forward to this every three or four months and you can get on their mailing list and be ready to go. I found a lot of worthy selections here and it's a lot of fun. The sellers are Local and quite helpful. Next show is March 17, Sun. 11am- 5pm.

Well worth a visit! A wide ranging selection of beautiful things, mostly Hawaiiana and Asian, but from all over. Most of the vendors are very knowledgeable about their mostly vintage and antique wares. Prices can be steep but most of the items are real quality...and there are bargains to be found! It's like wandering through an eclectic museum...but you can actually take this stuff home! I look forward to it every year.

#27 for 2018I am in shock. I am in shock that this is not the cheap collectible nonsense stuff I thought it was going to be. Far from it.This event is approaching it's big 30th show. No wonder it has lasted this long too. It may look like a swap meet but this is more like a museum of goodies worth checking out. You might just learn something of history and come out the better for it.It doesn't cost much to get in either. $5 will get you in the door for 1 full day. $7.50 will get you in for all 3 days. That's the best deal there because the dealers are constantly bringing new things out every day. If you like to dress up, and come as a cosplayer you can get in free. Same as if you present a military\DOD ID, that will get you in free too.The promoters have also allowed an Anime Swap Meet where fans can sell their related goods. This is a great feature of the show to help bring in a younger crowd. The Costumer's Guild was present too. These guys build some amazing stuff. They brought in the Jurassic Park Jeep. A real one you can sit in and get your picture taken. There was also the Ghost Buster Mobile complete with what looks like a rocket laucher. The guys came in their full outfit complete with ghost busting packs that light up doing all sorts of crazy things. Pictures with these guys was priceless.Another prop master, Keoni Maemora, brought the Iron Throne from Game of Thrones along with the wall of the nameless ones. Great real life props you can take a pictures in.The room was filled with collectible and antique dealers. Many carried Hawaiiana items that were wonderful to look at. Vintage Hawaiian shirts too. It is nice to see all these items that you no longer see in the retail shops today. If you're looking for a room, or your entire house, to stand out, to have wonderful pieces to talk about from our history, be it Hawaii or the world, this is where you will want to come.Rose and Patrick run a professional show. They are not ones to hide from everyone. Easily available to assist or answer questions standing at their booth at the ready. The fun in the show reflects themselves and what they want this show to be. It truly was a fun show to be at enjoyed by all members of the family, young and old.

For collectors of old and unusual items, there are quite a few trade shows throughout the year. None are bigger and more diverse than the Hawaii Collectors Expo! Held each year in February, it's three full days of shopping. Located in the Blaisdell Exhibition Halls, the show takes up the full main room.Organized like a grid, the expo has plenty of floor space to comfortably navigate the booths and walk around. Tickets are less than $5; be sure to look for coupons for $1; it's free for military and discounted for kupuna. After buying the tickets at the booth, be sure to look for which entrance is being used; either the front along Ward or the side near the fountains. The vendors here are similar to all the other shows, but there's no limit on how old items must be. You'll find Hawaiiana, Americana, coins, fabrics, toys, holiday items, bottles, posters, airline collectibles, metal signage, and jewelry. Most booth specialize, some are owned by stores in the area. Many are just private sellers and offer an eclectic array of goods. Be sure to bring cash, as many vendors do not accept card (although more and more do lately). You'll also find stands with drinks and food if you need a break from walking around. Even if you aren't coming looking for anything in particular, you'll enjoy people watching and looking at stuff you never knew existed!

Wow, this was so much fun to attend! This was a one day show at the Blaisdell. Apparently, it's held a couple of times a year. The entry fee was $5 after 10:30 am ($20 early entry for those wanting first picks). Parking was $6 at the Blaisdell. There were coupons floating around and online for $1 off admission. There was a huge line when we got there but as soon as the gates opened it went fast. There were a lot of vendors with antiques, coins, plants and so much fun things to look at. I picked up a good luck ox from Japan and a vintage signed Keane print. The vendors prices are negotiable so you can get great bargains if you can haggle. There were a few concession stands but the prices were slightly high, as expected since there is a captive audience. All in all, great fun and spent a couple of hours looking at super cool stuff. I would return.

Over the years, I've grown an immense love for anything second hand, recycled fashions, and antiques. The best thing about antiquated treasures is not everyone will have one of the same things. Finding diamonds in the rough is one of the enjoyable things about hunting at these shows. One of the biggest shows I look forward to every year is the Hawaii Collectors Expo, I'll tell you why.If you've been to the small shows like Hawaii All Collectors Show, Wiki Wiki One Day Vintage Collectibles & Hawaiiana Show, and even Hawaii Toy Fair, Hawaii Collectors Expo is a mesh combined with an eclectic variation of vendors. There are treasures for anyone alike. When my happy half Alexander brought me to my first collectors and antique shows, I was terrified of all things older than my grandmother. I thought they looked creepy. But now I'm overwhelmingly obsessed and go on a shopping spree spending way less than I ever do when shopping for items at the mall.I've noticed Alexander grabs little flyers from the front tables upon entry to get $1 off per ticket for any future shows. The ticket booth accepts cash only for these events. For 65 years and over, the entrance fee is cheaper. Street parking is available, cheaper and free on Sundays, versus paying $6 at the Neil S. Blaisdell parking lot. The Hawaii Collectors Expo is a three day event held at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. Bathrooms are clean and are easily accessible on all parts of this large arena. There are over 100 vendors from jewelry, Knick knacks and brick a bracks, snacks, toys, musical instruments, Anime Swap Meet, coin collecting, Hawaii themed vintage treasures, and other unique vintage fashion boutiques. On the entrance table, there are coupons, flyers, and a pile of key map sheets for the taking of the vendor names and locations. I love seeing my family find their treasures. Alexander is obsessed with collecting old toys and even found a cheap brand new book. I'm in love with finding rare jewelries from estates that may even have some history attached to them. His mom found tapa cloths and other beautiful fabrics. One of my happiest moments was finding a crack seed vendor and purchased a few bags of fun local snacks. I was surprised at finding a special guest from other shows make their appearance like Mog Park, an illustrator and visual developer from HBO's The Game of Thrones. When one has repeatedly come to these events, everyone grows to have their favorite vendors that attend all the little shows. I have many few favorites. Everyone at most is friendly at these shows. Lastly, I recommend bringing cash because not everyone accepts credit card payments. Don't forget to grab some flyers before leaving the show for all the future collectors events.FB/IG: Hawaii Collectors Expo

I do love garage sales, so when I went to the Hawaii All-Collectors Show at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall, I was in for a MASSIVE treat.I first went to the booth for the hand painting. I saw Elaine Matsuda demonstrate this on the morning news. I was so impressed that a fine art canvas painter would donate her artistic talents, that I knew I had to support her.I got the beagle hand, and everyone around the show commented how realistic the eye looked. I proudly pointed them in the right direction. The booths were mostly very well presented and organized. There were many treasures to be found. I bought a lacquer wood dish and 3 grafted cactus.Try to get a street parking, and save your $ for something at the show. There is an admission fee, but you can get a discount online.Location: Blaisdell Exhibition Hall777 Ward Ave., Honolulu, Hawaii 96814Dates: July 22, 23, 2011Hours: Friday 3:00 pm - 9:00 pmEarly entry at 1:30 pm Friday onlySaturday 10:00 am - 6:00 pmAdmission: General Admission $5.00 Early entry $20Child 7- 11 $2.00Discount coupon site: www.ukulele.com/collect.html

Ilene and Wayne's Wiki Wiki One Day shows are the best for value and integrity if one is looking for authentic vintage and Hawaiiana items. Show entry is reasonable at $5 with $1 off coupons easily available. Vendors are packed into 10' spaces and thus they bring their best treasures for sellers to peruse and admire. They used to have a big 3 day show in July but decided to go with 4 smaller one day shows instead. This is the place to find vintage estate jewelry from people such as Dale Cripps and/or Cinderella. Mings, jade, coins, and other objects of value are priced to sell with established sellers who really know their stuff. Sachi's booth is filled with finds that are so reasonably priced and take me back to the 60's.My favorite show even though I don't really need or want anything since I am old already. But I always end up buying a treasure or two that give me great pleasure.
