Nice outdoor seating for breakfast and brunch with views of Kaimana Beach - recommend getting an early reservation so you can see the views before the beach gets crowded. The breakfast/brunch menu has a variety of savory and sweet options, and the dishes are portioned well for both individual size or sharing if you want to try a variety of things. We ate here twice during our stay at the hotel and left satisfied overall. Dishes we tried:- Loco Moco: better on our first visit compared to the second, but still tasty; the beef was well seasoned, and I enjoyed the upgraded take on a Hawaiian classic with the added sweetness of the caramelized onion, acid of the pickled red peppers, and crispy garlic (I think there was more garlic the first day we tried it which really added to the flavors)- Ube Cinnamon Roll: the frosting captured the nutty sweetness of ube, but it is definitely rich so recommend it for sharing! - Chia Breakfast Parfait: chia pudding served in half of a papaya and topped with fresh berries; perfect for a light breakfast. The granola that came on the side was a bit on the stale side, but I was really ordering it for the fruit. - Cured Salmon Benedict: forgot to take a picture, but an average benedict - good but not out of this worldFor drinks, they offer brewed coffee, tea, or French press so if you're looking for lattes or specialty coffee/tea drinks you'll need to stop by Sunset Provisions.

Been coming here for breakfast for some years, but this last visit was special, it was my retirement party from my friends. And how can you not enjoy breakfast on the beach and in Hawaii nei! The location and sitting under the big tree is just so relaxing.Parking is valet $10, but you can look for street parking around the area for free. I normally just valet so I'm not stressing looking for street parking. Highly recommend making reservation, they tend to get really busy. Even for breakfast. I had the hau tree egg Benedict and it never disappoints, always so delicious. We started with house cured salmon board, this was so nice and delish. We had ube cinnamon roll for dessert, it was huge it fed several of us. If you looking for a great meal, service and meal on the beach, hau tree is your place! Service is always top notch, never sitting with a empty water cup or coffee.

Went here to celebrate my birthday after seeing this place on TikTok. The views while we ate were breathtaking and sitting under the tree while we ate by the water made the whole experience magical.Food was delicious I really enjoyed the octopus! It was prepared very well. I enjoyed the drinks I had throughout the night and the fish was very fresh. I have no complaints. We had an amazing server who was super friendly and made sure to let her know if we needed anything throughout the night, food was brought out super quick and she answered any questions we had. I finished the night with a complimentary dessert and I believe it was guava flavored 10/10!Highly recommend this spot if you want great food with a beautiful view.

Hau Tree is located in Kaimana Beach Hotel. Parking is either valet or you can park along the street and pay the meter. We went with the meter as there was limited to no self parking available. The meter wasn't too bad.Came here on a weekday with a couple friends and the wait was about 15 minutes for the lower beach level seating, which isn't bad. We sat next to one of the trees which was nice. Did feel a bit awkward sitting feet away from people on the beach enjoying their tanning. But there was a nice view of the water.Started our meal with a couple drinks - mimosas and a lychee martini (until we meet again). The martini was surprisingly good even though it had egg whites in it lol. You cannot taste it at all and taste more of the lychee! We decided to get three different dishes to share - eggs benedict, shakshuka, and a classic loco moco. The eggs benedict came with a side salad but no dressing (which was odd for us) and a side of potatoes. The potatoes was seasoned well, but the eggs benedict was okay. The shakshuka was my favorite. I like to think of it as a deconstructed pizza with the tomato based sauce. It was paired with the best kind of bread - not to hard and not too soft. The loco moco was also okay. I do like that they used a thicker beef patty, but it was a bit dry. The garlic bits was a nice touch and added good flavor. All in all, Hau Tree is a nice spot for brunch with your girls if you're looking for an outdoor setting. The service is friendly and attentive. It is on the pricey side, but it is Waikiki so that can't be helped much. I would like to come again for dinner to try a more romantic experience.

The views are next level here as you're side by side to the beach and when the sunset hits it's magical. The food here was spectacular we decided to splurge for a date night and were not disappointed at the rich flavors. I will say the portions were the only downside when I got my steak. I think aside that I'd go back again and try the brunch! The number one thing we thought stood out at Hau tree was the kind, friendly, and attentive service. That alone made me want to come back to be able to enjoy our dining experience.

What a disappointment !We have been there in 2021 for dinner and the food was good and tasty. We were happy to be back.Light bites are not a happy hour menu, everything is full price. The food was average. The hamachi was good but the burger was really disappointed. For the price we paid, we expected a better quality bun and not Mac Donald's frozen fries. At least the cocktails were really good as well as the service.I do not plan to go back

Our experience at Hau Tree was nothing short of phenomenal! From the dreamy ambiance to the mouthwatering food and stellar service, everything about this place left me beyond impressed. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Although our table wasn't in the lower area with the best beach view, our view was still gorgeous, and the overall vibe was just perfect. The servers were incredibly accommodating and even offered to swap out pork in some dishes for us since we don't eat it. Their attention to detail really made the experience unforgettable. Here's what we ordered--and let me tell you, I still can't stop thinking about this meal: * Loco Moco - 10/10 This was our second time trying loco moco, and Hau Tree knocked it out of the park. The beef patty was unbelievably tender and juicy, and every bite of this dish was pure perfection. * Hau Tree Eggs Benedict - 9/10 We substituted the pork with turkey bacon, and it was amazing. The flavors were so well-balanced and satisfying. * Lemon Ricotta Pancakes - 10/10 These pancakes were everything. Creamy, fluffy, and just the right balance of tart and sweet. The lemon flavor wasn't overpowering, and I could seriously eat these every day.The food and service here were exceptional. If you plan to visit, try to snag a table on the lower level for an even better beach view--it's worth it! Hau Tree is a must-try, and I can't wait to go back!

A touristy bar and restaurant without being too touristy.A good location to watch the sunset, sip tropical drinks and dine on fresh finds. I enjoyed their freshly made pastas here. They have that "chew"!Sweet service by the hostesses and the server. It is an outdoor venue so be prepared for nature on some nights to pay you a visit, attracted by the table lights. It looked like flying ants/termites, but they didn't bite.

We very much enjoyed our dinner at Hua Tree! The views are awesome and the restaurant is very lively. It is on one of the quieter parts of Waikīkī and def get a reservation to sit outside if you can. We had the poke cones, fish of the day, lamb chops, and a few cocktails. the poke cones were really tasty! The portions are small for the price which was the downside. I LOVED my daiquiri cocktail. Service was okay not the most attentive but we got what we needed. I'd come back!
