Came here yesterday and to be perfectly honest I am always weary about eating at places in this area because it's such a tourist trap! It's usually way over priced, poor quality and service not so great. Not in the case yesterday at Hatsuhana. Walked right in and got seated right away. Sat inside to get out of the heat in a very clean and nicely cooled down AC spot. Waitress was so friendly and so nice and works as a tag team making sure everything was taken care of. Started off with a mai tai and my wife had a blue hawaiian which both were very refreshing. This place also has a Japanese grill but it was too hot for that we wanted something cool so sushi it was. My wife had the ahi/avocado roll which she loved then we split the unagi nigiri which was so buttery and delicious. In addition I had unagi hand roll and I had the rainbow roll. Everything was really good and we didn't leave anything left. Very pleasantly surprised and would very much recommend.

We did a staycation at the Hilton and had dinner at Hatsuhana, and we were not disappointed! On a Saturday night around 7pm there was a short wait, maybe 15-20 minutes, and then we were seated. The restaurant itself is not fancy, but it is clean and comfortable.I ordered the Salmon Ikura Donburi, and my husband ordered the Spicy Poke Bowl. He said it was one of the best spicy ahi he's ever had!Our server, Zaldy, was exceptional. He was attentive, kind, and went above and beyond to provide top service even though we could tell he was swamped with many other tables at the same time. Thank you Zaldy! They also do kama'aina discount, although I cannot remember what the exact percentage was. I would love to come back and possibly try one of the hot dishes. Thank you Hatsuhana and Zaldy!

Stopped in for lunch and had a really yummy time! We rarely eat at a sit down restaurant for lunch when staying at the Hilton but today was such a treat! Nice lunch menu with full plates and teishoku. I got the chicken katsu curry which looked really good in the photos and I was not disappointed! The dish came on a tray with miso soup, a little salad, and hijiki. I was not expecting the bowl of curry to be so large and the salad so small but I ate almost everything! Have to say, I'm not used to having side dishes with curry so the miso soup and salad was a nice enhancement. I gave my mom my hijiki. I ended taking home a small bit of curry and rice and 2 pieces of katsu. My mom got a tempura bowl so she let me photograph it... It looked good so when I come back I may get the tempura udon!

No frills Japanese spot in Hilton village if you are staying at this hotel and can't go too far I would recommend this place. I was pleasantly surprised by the tempura donburi- filling and tasty! I've been to Japan and had tempura there and this tastes similar. The sauce was really good. The servers are nice, attentive and efficient. It's a nice cozy restaurant pretty good for big parties - we saw a lot of big groups. If I didn't have a car and was staying here again/wanted Japanese food I'd definitely come back here

Just to start the service was great and the food was good.. I had the mochiko chicken and the ahi steak teishoku. The only reason why I'm giving 3 stars is that inside was too warm and uncomfortable to eat. Looking at other reviews I'm not the first to mention this. I came at around 8pm and throughout my visit I was sweating.. at night! Outside was cooler. Fix your AC or get better ventilation! Until this is fixed I probably won't revisit and I can't recommend this place to my friends :(

Second visit here, but my first was over a decade ago. The location is great if you're at Hilton Hawaiian Village! It's right outside the elevators on the bottom floor, so really close to the ballrooms to get a pre- or post-event drink/pupu. The space was nice and open, not too cluttered. Nice environment. Our waitress was Mandy and she was excellent. She was so nice and attentive. It was so busy (another waitress exclaimed, "we are so busy!" Lol), but we didn't really feel that from her. Definitely will ask for Mandy for our next visit! The food was yummy as well. The rainbow roll was delicious, very fresh fish. The garlic chicken was perfectly crispy and the sauce was really good. My kids ordered the fries and ribeye teishoku. The ribeye was perfectly cooked medium any the fries were great as well. My dh ordered the tonkatsu and gobbled it up. We will definitely be back! Everything was yummy and service was great!

We ate here a few weeks ago, and very much enjoyed it. We were able to get seated immediately and without a reservation, which was nice.As for the food, the grilled salmon plate was solid. We really liked both the dragon rolls as well as shrimp tempura rolls, as they were on point! The location was very convenient too. Definitely recommend their sushi!!

Japanese style breakfast buffet! It's. It an elaborate spread but it's just enough! I love the Japanese kobachi type of dishes, like hijiki, renkon, kabocha, kinpira gobo etc! 4 hours free parking, which is great!! Oh and the coffee machine is great! Many different types of condiments too!!

Came here one evening, because it was literally walking distance from our condo. The ambiance is so cute, because it's as if you're walking through Japan and the restaurant is Japanese style too! It was a little hot in the room, so we opted for sitting on the outside. Service was quick and lines weren't long since we were dining for the last hour. Food is uniquely tasty, but very pricey! May or may not come back again, we'll see!
