Located in the Kuhio food hall within the International Marketplace, this place offers ramen, appetizers (gyozas, baos), and rice bowls. We got a couple of ramens, and we really enjoyed then. The bowls were pretty big, and I was able to share a bowl with my mom. The service was very friendly, and they didn't mind giving me an extra plastic bowl for sharing.+ Tan tan ramen - spicy ramen with meat and bok choy+ Tonkatsu ramen - good broth and tender pork and eggA nice choice for lunch if you're in the mood for ramen.

This place was so delicious! The Bao was just so fresh, all of it. It tasted like perfection.Service was great, quick and friendly! The location is busy, and I can see how some might think it's noisy. I was totally fine with it. I thought it was clean and easy seating.

Located in the Kuhio Food Hall at the International Market Place, Hashi and Spoon was a-okay for a quick bite to eat while visiting the island. Items ordered:- Fried Rice Bowl ($6) with fried pork belly add on ($3)- Korean fried Chicken ($16)- Tan Tan Ramen Bowl (sorry I don't recall the price)The fried rice bowl was actually quite good. Definitely add the slices of fried pork belly for an extra $3! Very tasty and well worth it! Portion size was deceptively filling. The fried chicken was alright. Not the best I've had and not the worst. Plenty of crunchy skin, if that's your thing.I didn't have the ramen, so I can't speak to it, but my friend really enjoyed it and the portion size was fairly large.Service was not good at all though. The guy at the counter looked pretty annoyed and didn't exactly go out of his way to hide that. He wasn't rude or anything, but he wasn't exactly very nice either. Hashi and Spoon was alright. Considering price, location, and food quality you could really do a lot worse.Somebody go cheer that guy up though! lol3 stars.

This busy food mall located on Kuhio Ave has many options of food, and Hashi & Spoon is one of those. I ordered 2 items: the fried rice pork belly and Bao BunsService was smooth: order at register and wait for your name to be called. There is plenty of seating inside, but may get packed around lunch time. We were lucky to get here earlierFried rice was lacking some seasoning, but the pork belly was exquisite. Bao Buns very good, but the buns were crumbling down a bit as I ate themOverall, a solid experience. I would come back

Hashi & Spoon was one of my favorite eateries to eat at at the Kuhio Food Hall. I got the Pork Belly Fried Rice and Chicken Karaage. Both were $9.I will say the portion size is fairly on the small side making the $9 price a bit steep. I do have to say however that both dishes were delicious. The Chicken Karaage was nice and crispy and the Pork Belly Fried Rice had flavor and lean pork belly. If it was not so hot during my recent trip here; I probably would have tried out the ramen too! Overall I would eat here again during a future visit.

Decent fast food in the Duke's Alley ! I had the pork belly Char Sue, Bao which was very Tasty for a good appetizer but I would've liked more pork belly, however. Service was quick and immediate and my order was brought to my table. Eating area was very clean and everybody was respectful of each other. Space.

Located at the Kūhiō food hall at the International MarketPlace. Needed a quick bite to eat since we were starving from traveling all day. Tried to place an order for the panko shrimp and they ran out. Interesting it was only 2pm in the afternoon. Ordered the gyoza and they were bland and limp. Chicken karaage was overcooked and had a burnt oil taste to it. Fried rice with pork belly was decent. It did the job to fill our bellies real quick but unfortunately not satisfying at all.

Tried this out on my first night here on the Island! It's located in a relatively new food hall located in the middle of Waikiki, and right by the entrance. When I went around dinner time, it wasn't too crowded, but there wasn't a line at Hashi & Spoon. It can be a little crowded, and there aren't too many tables, but there's a good amount of turnaround time. Something that stood out to me was the great service! The employee at the time was really nice and made me feel so welcome!I ordered the Tan Tan ramen, and was told it'd come out fairly quick, which it did. Check in, and you'll get a free fountain drink! I thought it was okay, but maybe a bit too oily. I wasn't quite used to this ground pork type of ramen, but the flavor was great. I do wish there were more veggies, like bean sprouts or bamboo, but otherwise no other complaints!

The lady was nice to us. Not sure if it's the same lady other reviews complained about. This place is in a small food court just under Mitsuwa of the International Market spot. I had the Tonkatsu Ramen and not sure where it failed. The noodles felt rubbery, the egg tasted off with heavy soy sauce, the pork wasn't seared like other ramen joints (from CA to WA) had done it, and that gave it an unpleasant texture and flavor. Then there was an immediate after affect. We had gone there for an early lunch and my day was cut short because my stomach was just all turned upside down.My wife had the fried rice and the rice was dry like it was old old rice. The bao buns were okay, but nothing to rave about.Edamame was mushy. All in all...eat here with extreme caution and find something ginger to help ease any upset tummies...

Located in the Kuhio Food Court inside the International Market. (The building is beautiful!)We ordered the Gyoza and Edamame. The Gyoza was fantastic. The unique combination of spices and herbs was wonderful with the dip. The Edamame was way over dressed. It was too spicy for everyone at our table who all had a range of Spiciness levels. A lil too intense.
