Found this hidden gem next to HRC, good selection and decent price for Hawaiian clothes and souvenirs, way better than all the souvenir shops along Waikiki walk. We bought Hawaiian shirts and chocolates for souvenirs

I will give this store 0 star if I can. Fake close out advertisement. Bad service. The lady with the grey hair was super rude. I tried on 1 shirt. She looked at me like I was a theft. I saw her angry eyes. I asked her if she was working there. She told me that I have to put the shirt back at the original form, and she said I made the mess since we came in. There are many other good stores around. Stay away this store so they can close their store as advertised.

1.31.23: Great hidden spot for souvenirs with awesome prices, about 50% cheaper than what you'd find at other gift shops along Kalākaua Ave. and the surrounding area. They are right next door to The Hard Rock Cafe. I found one VERY specific item on my list (for an unbelievable price!) that I could not find at ABC, Foodland, Don Quijote, or Waikiki Market. Accepts cash for purchases over $10. In addition to unique gifts they sell beachwear including snorkeling gear, lunch bags, purses, wallets, slippers, towels, t-shirts & sarongs, but no snacks or drinks. Recommend!

I'm giving it two stars because their customer service is horrible. Great Hawaiian selection however the lady or owner was very rude and not welcoming at all. I would've bought more items but she was very very rude.

Me and my husband and child came in here as we are on vacation from LA and spent close to $100 last night and I dealt with a nice woman, I wanted to come back today for more souvenirs, which we did, I walked in excited to spend more money and I was met with an older cashier woman with glasses, slender build, scowling and extremely rude. Definitely not the nice woman we dealt with the night before. I mainly came back for sunglasses (plus possibly more souvenirs) since I lost mine at the beach, she stared the entire time we were looking at glasses for me, every little thing I had interest in she stared and followed me with eyes as if I was going to steal. Lady, I'm black and I have plenty of money. I don't know if this woman is racist or just plain miserable but it's definitely one or the other. Our toddler wanted a turtle keychain, my husband brought one up to ring up and we let her know our kid already had one in her hand, and to just ring that one up and keep it since our kid already had one and we didn't wanna take it out her hand to avoid a tantrum. She acted like we were trying to steal a $5 turtle keychain..2 grown adults with our child. We have more than enough money to shop in here. I don't wanna be petty but maybe it's because we are a heavily tattooed interracial couple, I have no idea, just checking off the boxes. By the way, I don't think this store is closing despite the sign, because a review from a year ago mentioned the same thing. I actually didn't have an issue with that tactic because the prices I paid were ok, but don't treat paying customers like they are criminals..most of us are here from out of town and have money to spend. This woman wasn't around the night before when we bought all that stuff. I was ready to keep spending had her energy not been so vile. She even spoke to my husband crazy for asking a question and he is white..maybe she is just miserable. To the nice lady, I enjoyed my experience with you and you made us want to come shop again, but to the older mean woman, have the day you deserve. Isn't Hawaii supposed to be famous for peace and good vibes? This is not a good look for tourists to see. People are on VACATION to come spend money with you, get your head out of your (you know what) ...later!
