Favorite surf shop on the island!Really friendly and helpful employees and great selection of unique boards, particularly PUs which can be a little hard to find in town. Prices are very reasonable and they also have a good amount of used boards.

Suuuch an awesome little surf shop. Easy to find right off Kam hwy in Pearl City. Stopped in without calling looking for a particular longboard fin that I've been searching for, and holy cow they had it!Got to talk story with the owner for a little bit he's super cool, very knowledgeable and just really down to earth. I've spent quite a lot time and money in various surf shops so I do need to mention that Hapa surf and Skate does have some of the most competitive prices I've seen! Definitely worth checking them out.

Comfortable laid back small shop vibe, don't expect a store full of excessive amount of clothing racks and 5 boards in the back THIS IS A REAL SURF/SKATE SHOP. I've purchased 2 used high performance shortboards and a couple new fins from HAPA. I also sold a surf board and have two currently being sold through their shop now. The board selling process is super easy here. Hapa has a bunch of used boards in "well used" to "like new" condition if your hoping to scoop one up for a good price. This is one of those shops that's ran by a true surfer/skater and you really get that genuine vibe as soon as you walk in. All about the stoke, they're welcoming as soon as you come in and helpful with what you're looking for. You can call to check their surfboard inventory or go on the website but if you stop in you might get lucky with whats in the back that just came in the door that day. I've been shown some really sick boards here that usually don't go for sale often and if they do, they don't last too long on market. So if your in the shop looking for a used surfboard, ask about anything used that just came in that day, you might just score a sick board with first dibs before it launches on the website. I appreciate small local owned shops like this and I hope it doesn't go away, these are the shops our next generation of surfers and skaters need. Keep growing HAPA, it's nice to see a small locally owned shop in the community.

Awesome little skate and surf shop. Customer service was above and beyond. They helped me with picking out some new wheels and discussed trucks and boards. They have a nice selection of surf and skate boards and accessories. Such a cool little shop, I highly recommend peeps dropping in to check it out.

Literally the only surf shop I go to for my surf supplies because they always have the latest gear! The board prices are usually in really good price ranges and are in good condition, I normally buy my boards from here (custom order new + used). The staff are always so helpful, knowledgeable and kind (:

Dropped off my boards for consignment and it sold within a week! (and payment was instant!!!) They did all the preparations needed to sell the boards. Best thing is I didn't need to deal with buyers with lowball prices & sketchy meet-ups! Mahalo Hapa Surf & Skate for the friendly customer service!!!

Really great service, the selection was vast clean organized welcoming great value. The owner Bill was great! Helped my son build his skateboard and walked him through his first experience and intro to everything you need to know. Very knowledgeable. Everyone was so helpful and kind. Great shop! Can't wait to go back. Great value and product.

Great service! The guy not only patiently explained the products (skateboard trucks and bearings) to my 12-year old son, but he also gave him a used skateboard to match his new bigger trucks and guided him in putting it all toHighly recommend this business as they go above and beyond to help!

Bill the owner is a cool guy. They have a nice selection of surf and skate accessories. His new shop is bigger so hopefully he will get more stock. I have sold some boards through this sjop and never had any issues.
