This place mindset of an old school diner. Plenty of parking, staff is fiendly, food was tasty. It's tucked away in a corner, but can be easily spotted from the main road. Give them a try when you're in Waianae.Aloooooooha and happy eating.

Simple, satisfying, affordable diner food! The breakfast joints in Kapolei are all easily $20-$30 per plate for breakfast ($30 for walk up ordering?!?). If you're on vacation then one of those places will probably deliver the experience you want like knock your socks off unique dishes, and special pancakes with all the tropical sauces, etc.But for locals, I just don't want to pay an arm and a leg to get solid tasty food. Hannara is that dependable, tasty diner food where they have a huge menu, booths, and super friendly service. The food comes out super hot and cooked to however you like. For breakfast, their Banana pancakes were honestly better than many national chains. Best part is that everything was reasonably priced $12 for my hotcakes combo plate, same for burger and fries. Katsu plate is HUGE. So much good food coming out, can't wait to try more!

Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Old school staple restaurant of the west side. Big portions and fair prices. Tasty food. I got the spicy pork (bc it wasnt included in the mixed plate) and hubs got the mixed plate. I wasnt really hungry bc we just ate at a juice place but had been wanting to eat here too. So we took a bunch of it home for a midnight snack. I know family members love to eat here and I can see why. We will be back and hopefully get to eat breakfast bc I hear its really good.

Walked in and was seated rather quickly. Got water and ordered rather quickly too. Food arrived just as quick. Love that they have homemade patties still and they're nice and thick. Service is quick and they check back often. Only thing, there were lots of flies floating around. I was trying to enjoy my meal and whoosh the flies at the same time. I don't see a blue light anyways. Anyways, that was the only downfall.

Hannara has been a staple of the Waianae Coast. When I'm in the area I'll stop by. My friend from East Oahu loves their beef stew.

Good simple food, good service, friendly neighborhood vibes.... The kinda place that makes you feel at home. This place never lets me down. Where all the locals eat. Idk if tourists will like it, zippys may be a better choice for you.

Always friendly service. Their banana pancakes are the best on the Island. It's worth the drive.

Excellent service and a very expansive diner menu. Really good ambiance. Delicious tuna fish sandwiches and salads! The breakfasts are so tasty!

Food was delicious. Service was great. It's self seating, then they bring you your menu, water, take food order, bring utensils.. etc Inside is very spacious, lots of seats available, tons of older decorations (place has been open for decades) Very big food portions, let the pictures speak for itself. We ordered the Hawaiian Plate, Hannara Korean Special, Bi Bim Kook Soo & Chap Chae.

They have everything here from breakfast all day to plate lunches. I like their breakfast here, everything cooked fresh to order. The staff here always pleasant, they know their usuals by name, very personal connection and customer service based. I like their eggs Benedict with fried potatoes. The hollandaise sauce is good and they give good portions.
