Halia Tours and Transportation

We just finished a half day tour with Michael where we went to the Green World Coffee Farm, Waimea Falls, north shore macadamia nut company, food trucks in Haleiwa, and Dole planation. He also brought us Malasadas from Leonard's bakery to eat with our coffee. Our party was 2 adults and two 3 year olds. Ive been on tours across the US, in the Caribbean, all over the UK and Europe and this was by far the best one I've attended. Michael tells you stories about Hawaii that are interested and only a local could know, he was extremely friendly with us, the people around us on the tour that we experienced and he honestly made my daughters day how he treated her. She was sad when we had to leave Micheals bus at the end of the tour. He treated us like we were old friends and really made everything exactly how we wanted it. I am so happy we went with his company. If I could give a thousand stars I would and I truly believe that a tour with Michael should be suggested to any family traveling to Aulani or or Hawaii,

Mike is great. Best way to see what you want to see. I'm sorry we didn't book two tours instead of one. It was our best day on the island toured the Dole Plantation, North Shore Coffee and Turtle Bay. It was exactly what we wanted. If you want to take a tour this is the one to take!!!

Absolutely incredible tour!!!!!Where do I even begin?! Michael is fabulous. He makes this tour so special and fun. From the time I booked this tour and saw all the wonderful reviews, I knew we were going to have a great time.All of the great things people say about this tour are true. Michael communicated with me a few days prior to our tour to go over points of interest and activities. Day of - he was just fabulous. He took us everywhere we wanted to see and gave my husband (the history buff) all of the history he wanted to hear. Michael customizes this tour and experience to whatever you're looking for - which makes the experience awesome and unmatched to any other tour out there.I could go on and on, but really, all I need to say is thank you Michael for making our time in Oahu so special and memorable. We will never forget how much fun we had on your tour! Mahalo!

My heart is full of gratitude for the amazing day we spent with Michael exploring this island. We've done group tours in other locations, but this tour far exceeded my expectations. For a lower price, you get to see what you want and only with your group. "Mikey" knows everyone around the island and was able to treat us like royal guests everywhere. For instance, he waved us through at the lines in two locations, smashed some fresh macadamia nuts for us to try and the macadamia nut farm, and lots of other extras. We learned SO much from him and his vast knowledge of this place! We set our own pace and saw so much. Highly recommended!!

Michael is an amazing tour guide and host for Oahu. He knew history, beautiful views and sites to see, great island suggestions for after our tour, places to see marine life and great food suggestions. We also saw Pearl Harbor as part of the tour which was amazing. What a fabulous day with him. We will definitely reach out to him the next time we are in Oahu. What a great experience. Michael Waters is one of the best tour guides I could have asked for. We had a tour with him back in June 2018 and we went back on 12/5/19. He helped me with planning a surprise vow renewal for my husband for our 21st Anniversary. He is very knowledgeable with HI culture. I cannot wait to go back in a few years and have him show us around again. He also give me ideas of were to get leis for our ceremony. Mahalo, aloha nui Michael for everything.

I have had a number of guide tours during my travels & cruises including a previous one to Hawaii however this one was the best ! What made this one especially great was the fact that our tour guide, Mike was an excellent historian of Oahu . He offered fantastic insite about all the areas we stopped at. We had more than enough time at each location we stopped at to explore the surroundings- never rushed ! We would definately recommed MIke for any tours i Oahu, Hawaii !!!chip & barbara

We enjoyed two full day tours with Michael. Both tours were outstanding. We learned a lot about Oahu and had so much fun. We covered lots of territory and made wonderful memories. Michael was on time, full of helpful information, knowledgeable about the history of Oahu and lots of fun!! He personalized our tours and covered everything we were interested in and more! We learned so much! It is fair to say we saw everything the island has to offer. We highly recommend Michael and Halia Tours. The best tour guide on the island!!

Michael did an outstanding job of providing us with a lifetime of memories. He was friendly, knowledgeable and made a fun day out of our north shore adventure. We even saw 3 green turtles!! I would HIGHLY recommend this private, customizable tour!

My family had the pleasure of using Michael and Halia Tours twice when we stayed on Oahu. We have two kids ages 9 and 13, and they also had a blast. Michael was on time and was willing to take us anywhere we wanted and wait as long or as little as we needed at each place. He knows the island so well, and all the tips he shared helped us make good choices for what we wanted to do each day. One really great thing about Michael was that he was super flexible. Having kids, we often had to make plan changes on the fly and Michael had no problem with anything and was always super accommodating. I just can't say enough good things about this guy. He knows so much about the locations and history of Hawaii that I came away learning so many cool things about the places we visited. His recommendations for food and shopping were spot on. Add to that he cares deeply about the environment, culture, and history of Hawaii, and my whole family was impressed. But perhaps my favorite thing about our two full days with Halia Tours was how much positive energy Michael communicated. He is the type of guy you want to be friends with. Finally, Michael was so good with making sure he spent equal time talking and staying aware of all of our needs. He was so good with our kids. They just loved him and still talk about him 3 weeks later. My 13 year old son kept asking me if we can stay in touch with Michael after we go home :o). I don't know when we will go back to Oahu, but hopefully it is soon, and the first thing we will be setting up is a few days with Michael from Halia Tours!
