Halekuai Center is a business mixed use center located in the Heart of Kapolei. It was built in 2010 and is anchored by Chevron and Starbucks. Back in 2013, this shopping center suffered a loss of one of its major tenants, the Social Security Administration as it moved to its own facility nearby. But, this little shopping center has since recovered by attracting new tenants and owners.Lucky Kapolei residents and nearby neighborhoods can easily access several award-winning dining options here such as My Café, Thai Lao, Aloha Subs and Starbucks. Other businesses such as U.S. Marines recruiting center, a barber shop, a yoga center and even a nail salon will interest you, too. There is ample free parking, although you need to be careful about which stall you park in as the stalls are marked for either 3 hours or 20 minutes. We frequent this mall whenever we're in the Kapolei area. Often times, we're here for a relaxing afternoon of movie watching at Kapolei Commons and will stop here either before or after our movie. It's our choice for one-stop shopping where we can dine and even fill up our gasoline tank before heading back home in town.

The parking here is horrible. Why? Well, for the amount of businesses and patrons, there's just not enough parking for everyone. The tenant parking is mixed with customer parking, along with a dividing line that separates the parking lot. More on that in a bit. If you have an appointment at one of the dentist or doctors offices and it's later in the day, depending on the time and day...good luck with finding parking. Now, back to that line. The line that separates the lot is from the end of the Starbucks to the beginning of a Dialysis center. The line indicates that to park there, you must be a customer of the Dialysis, a dentist or the Burger King. That's it. If not, you'll be towed. And my goodness, they do tow like crazy here! So, be sure you're parking in the correct area. It seems as if the tenant mix here is all over the place and not really a good mix to begin with. You have the older tenants who have been there since the building opened, such as the optometrist and dentist located upstairs. But then you have the constant rotation of other business on the ground floor. There used to be a Papa John's here...it's gone. A pet supply store...gone. Currently there's vacant spaces...and it's probably not due to the ongoing epidemic. There's also a homeless problem here. It's a bit unsafe and uneasy feeling. The only way to fix this pile of junk is to blow it up and start over again. Fix the parking, the tenant variety, and have better security to enforce things.

After today I will avoid this place like the plague. I got towed due to POOR parking signage. Apparently the one facility is split in two and you can only see there clear demarcation when coming in from the Texaco side and not the Burger King side like I did. I was picking up coffee before going to University of Phoenix. And I had to find a ride all the way to Sand Island in town because VIP Towing wouldn't send driver back because they aren't allowed to accept payments. And all of this again was due to PP signage.

Towing company needs to get better clocks, today I saw one lady get towed and she wasnt even parked for more than 10 mins. And its not helping the fact that the shitty dialysis center has like half the parking reserved, and they dont even get enough patients to make full use of all the spots the have. Honestly I'd rather walk from ewa all the way there just to get that prime thai food than deal with their stupid tow trucks, and parking.

The security guards here or who ever is running this building is in a scam with VIP Towing. We weren't even at the shopping center for three hours and the car got towed. For what? Just so that we can eat at Burger King? $242.50 later and a trip to sand island and here we are having to recover a car from the tow yard because they're scam artists!

I think on top of better parking, this place needs 24/7 security. This area is so shady and dirty! I was waiting for my husband at the barbershop and used the bathroom upstairs near Kapolei Karaoke. There were 2 drunk dudes hanging out at the bottom of the stairs blocking the stairs, it's 5pm. I told them excuse me, went up, did my biz, came down. As I was coming down, dude says something to the other dude and the other one pulls out his phone and starts video taping me as I passed and laughs. Tried to find a number to report it but couldn't find anything on the website or sign. Super creepy vibes! Guess security only shows up if you park too long. Not sure how this place is still going.

Terrible parking, lots of reserved parking and parking near Burger King and dialysis center will get you towed. They have a security guard watching people park then calling tow company, doesn't even let you know your in a no parking zone and you will be towed... terrible place will not shop at any of these shops/restaurants anymore due to this... if you want customers open more parking...

I concur with every other 1 star review on here. This is a shady business getting kickbacks from the towing company. I'm not surprised that Starbucks is no longer in this mall. I would not do business here. We will no longer come here for ANY business. I don't care how good the food or services are, we will NEVER shop there again. The parking makes no sense. Do not park here. The stalls are not clearly parked and instead of warning merchants, the security guard waits until you walk away, so he can call his friends at the towing company. More than half of the stalls are for reserved businesses that are not even operating. The stalls are just left open for the shady security guard and towing company to make money. If you are a business thinking of renting from this building, don't do it! Find somewhere else. If you are a customer in need of services at this building, don't go there, find somewhere else. Or you will find self with a towed car and a $145 bill. Oh and the tow truck company only takes cash. VERY SHADY!!!

Fix your parking- if you are going to have tenant parking then remove the signs that say 3 hour parking for customers behind them. I don't appreciate getting accosted by an angry tenant because of your confusing and ridiculous parking set up. Fix it because if my car was towed you would be paying the bill. Most ridiculous parking ever - I hope all the tenants start moving out with all the new construction.

Watch this place. They have a scam going on with VIP towing. Parking is a nightmare. If you can't find space and need to park, there is a lady in a black car watching. She will call anybody walking into a shop that is not on the tow warning sign. Within five minutes, (or less) your car will be towed. The parking lot owner must be getting a nice kickback. And I find it interesting that they hired a tow company which is 17 miles away on Sand Island. (there are many tow companies located closer than Sand Island) Don't do business here. Many cars are being towed. You are a sitting duck.
