I pulled into the Haleiwa Farmers' market in Waimea Valley on a whim. Not yet wanting to return home, I was driving along when I saw a sign advertising it and it happened to be in full swing. Occurs Thursdays from 2-6pm. Parking was tight (but free!) and I found a spot after a few minutes before making my way into a covered common area. There were many vendors packed into a small space of the Pikake Pavilion making it somewhat difficult to navigate but forced me to slow down and take it all in. There were may food vendors, some crafts, and local produce available to peruse. The variety was nice and the prices reasonable. Everyone was very friendly and I had a great time shopping. My husband and I bought some honey and a number of apple bananas. There is a small seating area where you can enjoy your bounty or simply relax. We walked around the grounds and were entranced by a pair of peacocks hanging out in some very high branches. Due to recent rains, there was a swollen river to sit down by and watch the clouds roll by from under a fantastically large and beautiful tree. Wish I had been able to check into this location with time to tour the rest of the grounds.

Saw this Farmers Market advertised for only Thursday 2-6p only so we made sure to pass by. I thought it would actually be a Farmer's Market with fresh meats, veggies and fish but it was more a small market of goods, food vendors and a small veggie stand. There were some good eats here. Prices are average. My fave was the slushy honey pineapple drink in a coconut shell for $10. Don't pass this up.Good thing their was no entrance fee. There is limited parking. This was held at the 'Waimea Visitors Center'. Just don't expect an actual farmers Market...[113/100]

Recently visited with my family.Although the clientele are primarily tourists given its location in Waimea Valley (formerly Waimea Falls Park), there is still a lot to enjoy here for locals in the area as well. Although smallish (there are much larger farmers markets on the island), the environment and atmosphere are quite nice. + The farmers market is indoors/undercover which means SHADE!!! On this day, there was also a nice breeze blowing, making it very comfortable to walk around and enjoy.+ Nice variety of produce, food (including our favorites: Wicked Hi Slush and Baker Dudes), crafts and clothing.+ Live music (added to the ambiance).+ Lots of seating to eat, people watch, relax, etc. There were tables and chairs in the main building as well as benches out on the lawn. We also saw some families sitting (picnic style) on the grassy lawn.+ Adjacent concession/food stand and souvenir shops (run by Waimea Valley) for more eating and shopping options.+ Free parking.I wouldn't necessarily drive all the way out here (from town) just to go to this farmers market, but it's definitely worth a stop if you're already in the area.Waimea farmers market is held every first and third Thursday of the month. 2-7pm.

This review is about the Wicked Slush located at this farmer's market(in Waimea Valley),.. we went to visit the Waimea Falls and we checked out what they have in this market,.. im kinda disappointed coz some stuff inside is a little pricey(due to it being a tourist place),.. that being said, i found a gem of a store in here, Wicked Slush,.. i really liked this place,.. the honey on top of their slushes is what makes their product shine,.. it really complements the slush,.. if you are visiting waimea falls and you happen to come across this market place, if i were you, id check out this slush place,.. you might actually enjoy it like i did,.. the lady here gives sample so you can pick what flavor you want,..

This place is great. I searched everywhere to figure out how to get wow wow lemonade and found out that they are here for the farmers market! I got the blackberry lavender lemonade. YUM! It was amazing. The lilikoi one is just okay haha. If you go here, trying the waffles are a MUST! They are soft and chewy in the middle just how I like it! Unlike anything I've ever tried!!! A little pricey, but worth it! I broke my glass bottle and they offered to give me a new one. They are nice people. Ps. The lady who sells bakery items has some delicious stuff also.

A few years back this was my favorite market on Oahu after KCC. I returned to find them in a different location and with different vendors. I was hoping to see more fruits and veggies but only 1 vendor of this nature. Everyone else was selling art, jewelry or clothing or prepared food. Had a nice mai tai and spam musubi though.

$4 mangoes, $10 burgers (not including fries or drink), more jewelry and knick knacks than actual produce/goods.....not my kind of farmers' market. I was not a fan and I would not go back.

It's kinda strange that nobody has written a review for this great Farmer's Market ever since it moved to the beautiful location of Waimea Valley, where it takes place every Thursday from 3p.m. to 7p.m..This Farmer's Market features various vendors selling all sorts of items; some sell locally made jewelry, Nori ointment, or guitars made from Koa wood. You can also shop for some locally grown produce - guaranteed organic and non-GMO! During our three weeks stay we didn't miss one of the Haleiwa Farmer's Markets at Waimea Valley and had the chance to generously sample the foods that are being sold here. We had a pesto burger, fish and chips, coconut turnover (da BOMB!), corn pesto pasta, old-country-style pizza and - my absolute favorite - the DIY Poke bowl from KeNui Kitchen. I know you guys are probably thinking that you have had Poke bowls before, but not like this! You can complete customize it and chose from several toppings such as Japanese cucumber, sea asparagus, edamame, carrot, avocado just to name a few. You can also tell them if you want your bowl with veggies or rice and you can even chose if you want it with fish (Ahi), tofu, or sweet potato. In the end you chose your dressing and your Poke bowl will be prepared freshly in front of your eyes. You can tell how much love for detail and taste goes into making your bowl by the fresh, amazing taste. This bowl had me coming back again and again and again. Farmer's Markets in general are a good way of getting to know authentic Hawaiian cuisine and arts. So I can warmly suggest visiting one to anyone who wants to explore Hawaii off the beaten path and is tired of the ABC stores and klischee souvenirs from downtown. In particular, I can recommend this Farmer's Market since it's in a particularly nice location and because it is not so heavily frequented as others that I've been to.

I wish I could call it a farmers' Market. There was still only ONE fresh veggie/fruit vendor, and she did not have a great variety nor were the prices attractive. Our day had 4 or 5 food vendors and about 4-5 clothing and jewelry vendors. This seems to be the pattern here based on other reviewers and our last visit 2 years ago. Parking is adequate but very busy with the tourist parade and buses arriving to see the park. As seniors, we would get a 'break' for $20 to walk the 3/4 mile path to see the plantings, historical sites, and the waterfall at the end. We decided not to go. If it's a FARMER"S Market that you want, I would wait until Saturday and go to Wailua which serves up a full complement of fresh stuff at competitive prices. They gladly serve up samples and I heard some negotiating prices. Worth the wait and the trip from anywhere on the North Shore.

This was not a farmer's market. Overrun with tourists, and only one stand that sold produce. There were barely any stands and nothing that actually was what we wanted.
