Train approaching the station that will turn right back around 3 minutes later. No photos allowed, but not sure why.
One of the rare times the rail is open past 7pm (Megabon).

The Halawa station is adjacent to the old Aloha Stadium. Only problem: unless you're going to the Swap Meet...there aren't any activities at this destination. When they finish the east side of the Skyline rail transit system, it will be convenient to ride - if they buld a new Aloha Stadium Complex, as planned. Aloha means both hello and goodbye in the Hawaiian language. Nice station, overall.Park and ride lot; there are a couple of electric charging stations on the Diamond Head side.TheBus stops are right outside of the station. Rail cars are clean and nicely air-conditioned. City and County employee is on the car; also, security cameras are inside the station and car.Went last Sunday only to have morning rides cancelled due to issues with the tracks.

The closest town station Hālawa Station is nice if you're looking for the least walking up to the platform as parking is just right below. The ride is shaky as most said but nothing different from other rails I've ridden, depending on where you're sitting it's cool in comparison to the window seat I had earlier so it's all a matter of preference of view or comfort lol!!I had my doubts though see as this is another option when you want to get to a place where parking and traffic can be a nightmare. Give this ride a chance.Thank you!

So we've been using this lot for the time being & so far it's been good. Security, CHOKE CAMERAS & constant flow of traffic. So it's been good. But that's all for now tho. Not sure what the future will hold tho. Lol! I'll be back later tho... THATS FOR SURE!

The Hālawa Aloha Stadium Stadium, I believe, is the most used station in the Skyline system during the rails first operating segment and is doing all the heavy lifting. In addition to getting to the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet on Wednesdays and weekends, the high-frequency and freeway-bound route A Express speeds people right to Downtown in 25 minutes with no traffic, coming every 10-20 minutes. Other bus lines like the 1L to Kalihi via King Street, the 20 to the Airport, 551 and 552 to ʻAiea and Hālawa Heights, and the PH8 Rush Hour Express to Pearl Harbor can be taken from this station within the free transfer period at no additional charge.Likewise, with a 400+ stall parking lot, those wishing to drive to rail can do so at this station, for a lovely price of 0 dollars and 0 cents! I'd prefer housing at this spot, but it's great that transit is attracting drivers to head to Pearlridge, Pearl City, Waipahu, and Kapolei from town. (Hint: you can also go to Ka Kamana Ali'i by an-every 10 minute bus from UH West O'ahu Station included with your fare within 2.5 hours). The rail is still working to expand further east into town, but while we wait for that to happen, I appreciate the heavy lifting that the Hālawa Aloha Stadium Station is doing to move people from cars and buses to the rail and bypassing the Pearl City pau hana traffic (which takes forever on Kamehameha Highway for sure).
