Hālau Hula ‘O Hokulani

If you're on the west side and are looking for a Hālau to learn the hula you do not have to go far. Hālau Hula 'O Hokulani has been around since 1985. They teach keiki from 3 y/o to kupuna who are young at heart. They are a competitive Hālau that competes in Hula Festivals throughout Hawaii and the Mainland USA. They also have Halau as far as Japan and Europe. If you want your children learn the Hawaiian culture,language and hula then this may be the Halau for you. Meet Leonani DeRego Lauaki, Kehaulani DeRego Kawai and Uncle Larry DeRego their father at the Ka Makani Ali'i Mall. The Halau is named after the matriarch of the Halau, Hokulani DeRego. Her legacy lives on in her children and hundreds of of haumana throughout Hawaii, Japan and Europe.
