Great Harvest Bread

Great Harvest Bread is simply the best, and so is its owner Patrick!!! We had planned on going to Maui for a Thanksgiving vacation/dinner with family, and placed an online order for 4 loaves of their super yummy "Stuffing Bread". When we arrived at the Kahala store to pick up our bread, I found out the bread was still in the oven and would not be out and cooled for another hour. We had a tight schedule packing and getting ready for the flight to Maui, and owner Patrick said he would deliver the bead loaves to my house prior to us leaving for the airport.Who ever hears of this type of service?? Patrick was a man of his word and he delivered the bread and we made it to the airport on time.Thank you so much Patrick, it is hard to find businesses nowadays that willingly go above and beyond with their customer service. We really appreciate you, and your top quality bakery items. Thank you again, and see you next time!!PS....your Stuffing Bread was a huge hit for Thanksgiving!!!!

I don't eat as much bread as I used to but was in the area so walked in to see what they had. Bought a loaf of pumpkin chocolate chip bread and a round of cinnamon chip bread. The cinnamon chip bread was okay but too big and ended up giving away part of it. But I loved the pumpkin chocolate chip bread so much I've gone back several times. It's really delicious! They have a schedule of when they make certain breads but I've been lucky enough to hit it when they have this bread in stock.I've been to Great Harvest bakeries on the mainland, especially in Minneapolis and they carry different breads. I liked a sunflower seed bread and some giant chocolate chip cookies, but I've not seen them here at this bakery. But as long as they keep baking the pumpkin chocolate bread, I'm good.

5 stars for this awesome place! Clean, ambiance is nice, service even better.Was greeted by two younger staff members who treated me with awesome service and even had me try some cinnamon bread!!! That cinnamon butter is lovely. Bbq chicken sando was made well and that garlicky bread was onooooo.I was told after by one of the staff member that it was her first job, and you couldn't even tell. Will stop by again and again.Mahalos yall.

Don't get their gingerbread loaf. I tried a tiny sliver and could barely eat it. It was dry, tasted burnt, and not sure what they put it there. It did not taste anything like gingerbread. When I called to ask for an exchange, he said no. So now, I am stuck with a huge loaf and I paid $10 for it. It's too bad because I have been a long time customer. Not sure that I will return. Poor customer service and they are in the service industry?

Great Harvest has been in this location for so very many years. I think of it as the place you go to after fasting and taking a blood test to save you from a drop in blood sugar. My favorite item is the pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. No matter the season they will always have pumpkin. Great Harvest does specials for holidays such as an April Fools treat. I picked up a colorful blue muffin that tasted warm, fluffy, banana chocolate flavored. Delicious! Love the oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for an energy pick me up. Warm and fresh out of the oven. Scones with a dab of jam changes flavors frequently. There's always something different to sample.The staff are very nice and more traditional in service. Please take your time and don't rush the process.

Love the breakfast sandwiches here as well as all of the freshly baked bread options. While service can be slow, this is definitely a wonderful to have freshly baked treats in a down to earth, local business. I'm sure I'm one of many that comes here after getting my blood drawn next door! And, I'm so glad it's right next door when I'm so hungry and the food is sooo good. I always add on a pastry or two and I'm never disappointed. Parking isn't the best, however, usually I can usually find a stall in the morning. The earlier the better of course!

Warm friendly hostess greeted us and asked if we had a points card. We told her no we are just traveling through. She said Oh here's a freebie to try! A mango or papaya bar, I forget. It was delicious! We purchased 2 blueberry cream cheese scones, also delicious! Lots of fresh loaves of bread were on cooling racks too. Wish I lived close!

In the mood for some soft delicious carbs? You can't beat Great Harvest. For such a small place, they produce a surprising amount and variety of breads on a daily basis. Service is fast and friendly, and you might even score a free sample.But it's not just bread. There are scones and cookies as well. Today I got the garlic cheddar loaf, and it was fluffy and soft and fabulous!

Delicious freshly made breads daily, handmade sandwiches, huge yummy scones! Try the BLT or Kahala Chicken Sandwich.... sooo good! Pro tip: At lunchtime, order ahead and pick up :)

My aunty purchase us some sandwiches from here today for lunch and it was delicious. I had a hummus sandwich without onions and my daughter had a bbq chicken cheddar melt. All of the ingredients were very fresh and it was a nice size portion as well. She also bought us muffins, chocolate chip scones and some of those huge cookies! I was too full from lunch so I didn't try any of the baked goods yet but my daughter ate the muffin and scone and she liked them both. She thinks she a food critic (lol ) so if likes it, must be good! I will go back soon for my favorite kulolo tea cake
