Goody Café is a hidden gem, but be prepared for a wait since it's a very small restaurant with limited seating--arriving at an odd time is your best bet. I put my my party of 4 on the paper list outside and got seated after a brief wait. The restroom is outside and requires a key, so plan accordingly. One person at a time. I ordered the loco moco, and it hit the spot. The gravy was rich and flavorful, pairing perfectly with the juicy burger patty, rice, and fluffy egg. To drink, I had the pineapple mojito, which was refreshing, well-balanced, and not overly sweet and the fresh mint and pineapple made it even better. While there's no written kids' menu, the staff is accommodating and can create dishes like buttered pasta with grilled shrimp. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

WOW. UNBELIEVABLE!I saw the loco moco on a YouTube review, as darkest gravy. It was wonderful. Great flavor! See pic. The patties were char grilled & tender. Unbelievable flavor. Among the best things I've ever eaten. I did the scrambled egg on top, poured a little Tabasco. It all merges together in the best way. Brown rice. Boy it was the best loco! $21 GET THERE. breakfast had a little wait list, we went at 11:20 and seated right away. Nice little surf shack by Hawaiian village. 5 stars thank u!

While staying at the Hilton Village resort, one of the staff recommended this restaurant for a great local breakfast cafe. They were right!! We truly enjoyed ourselves, and it was worth the wait (about 45 minutes at 8am)!I definitely recommend visiting this cafe for breakfast. You won't be disappointed.

This place is AMAZING for breakfast. It's a little spot, so you may have to wait a little bit, but I promise you the food is so worth it. The staff were all super friendly and seemed happy to be there, and happy to see every guest. Cute place. I ordered the berry French toast. All of the fruit was so ripe & flavorful. The French toast was some of the best I've ever had. Just overall, delicious. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict and he's a big eggs Benny guy. He loved it, was very satisfied. We also both ordered an iced coffee and it was so delicious. Not sure the kind of coffee they used, but I assume it was something made in Hawai'i. Super flavorful and the perfect cup of Joe to get the day started. We will be going back here before we take off for home, for sure. It was THAT good that it needs a repeat visit on the same trip. Highly recommend for breakfast!

Absolutely love this restaurant. I don't think I've been to Waikiki without making a stop here. The service is amazing, the hostess and server are always very accommodating to your schedule. I enjoy everything on the menu. There is a bit of wait but it's worth it. This trip I ended up getting the açaí bowl to go and was delicious. Always a favorite place of mine!

This is such a cute open-air spot! We split the kalua pork Benedict that was delicious and served with kale salad / purple sweet potatoes. The kale salad was a bit bland but other than that it was perfection! We also had yummy pina coladas! The French toast with fruit also looked super delicious. Definitely give this place a go! Friendly service too.
