Goma Tei Ramen Pearlridge

Goma Tei Ramen is legit! The ramen here is next-level -- the broth is super flavorful, and the noodles are on point. I went for the signature ramen, and every bite was exactly what I needed. So comforting!But what really made this place stand out was the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and just made the whole experience feel so chill. You can tell they really care about giving you a great time.If you're craving some bomb ramen and awesome vibes, Goma Tei is definitely the spot. Highly recommend!

Gomatei has always bren a solid go-to for good value meal for Hawaii Japanese food.It's like Zippy's but make it Japanese for me, always solid food and at decent price! Their takeout bentos at around $8 is perfect! Me and my girlfriend have always had a great meal. You could go to other places, but gomatei has always been consistent enough for me to keep coming back.Curry loco moco hit better than I thought, hamburger steak was great.

Sadly, Goma Tei is declining in service and attention to orders placed. I ordered pick up via Uber Eats and did not receive the Ajitama egg that I paid extra for! Not the first time this this Pearlridge location has omitted items I ordered usually by deliveries.I love their Tan Tan soup base and cannot find a comparable taste at other ramen eateries (believe me I have tried). But, these oversights have caused me to stop giving Goma Tei my business. Other patrons must think so too since Iʻve noticed their rating points have dropped dramatically. Seemed to occur once they started to use their dining room as a storage room...tacky and signs of the restaurants decline in attitude!

Spicy Fish dumpling tan tan ramen is now my favorite with extra noodle and extra spicy. The service is always great! The ambiance always feels welcoming to me.

Nothing cures a hangover better than a big bowl of soup. I remember going to the Ala Moana location pretty frequently during my college days and always loved their tan tan ramen and happy to see that it's still as massive as ever. I will say in comparison to other ramen places, it's not mind blowing... but this restaurant definitely shines for value. There's also a lot of menu options so there is definitely something for everybody. If you're looking for a quick bite that will fill you up, this is definitely a spot to get your fix.

Goma Tei is a great choice for a casual ramen meal. I don't think it's the best ramen but it is good comfort food. My go to is the shoyu ramen and I like to add the ajitama egg to it. I love their popcorn chicken and gyoza! They are tasty appetizers that make it a more filling meal. Service is pretty good and the food comes out quick! I also tried both of their take home to-go meals to bring for lunch to work the next few days and it was soo yummy and worth the price! I would definitely purchase those again.

Food is very good. Menu is very diverse, many options. I got the shoyu won ton ramen. Overall big wontons and lots of noodles. Broth was a bit salty but not too bad. Service was very fast and they kept checking on us. The ambiance is very nice and serene. Typical ramen place. Def want to go back and try other options.

Service is great, the ramen noodles taste really fresh and reminds me of being in Japan. The soup base jn the ramen is perfect not salty at all, I also had the chicken wings to perfectly pair with the ramne

Although food was great and company was good, the service really was unacceptable. We came when the placed opened and the servers were not friendly at all. To top it off they charged us gratuity for a group of 7 when the menu clearly states 8 or more. Please check your bill as they did not charge us correctly. They still charged us 15% gratuity which is not correct. We will be reporting this.

If you are looking for a fun fast lunch and craving ramen or curry. This is a nice spot located in Pearlridge Shopping Center. The service is fast, so be ready to order,cause they can get busy lol. The ambiance is simple and clean. And you can enter from the inside or from the parking lot side of the mall.I got one of their most popular dishes, which was their famous Kakuni Udon. The pork is a tender juicy thick cuts of braised pork perfection, topped with in house made chili sauce.My son got the charsui pork curry udon... I got to admit, I really like his one more... I think if I could have put my kakuni pork on his curry udon ... it would be a match made in Ramen Heaven. No matter what you get here, I'm sure you won't be disappointed... even if you or one of your friends aren't in the mood for Ramen they have many side dishes that will fit most people's wants and needs.
