Golden Coin Bake Shop & Restaurant

Had lunch here at the request of my Dad (in his 80s) and he comes here for breakfast almost daily (opens at 5am). Parking available in the front and back/side of building. Haven't eaten here before so was pleasantly surprised with our lunch. Handful of 4-seat tables inside. They have a hot foods display for plate lunches and grab/go packaged pastries. So many choices available and reasonably priced. After finishing our tasty plate, enjoyed a refreshing ube halo-halo. Service was quick and good. Really enjoyed this place for its convenience and will definitely consider when craving Filipino food again. No wonder my Dad comes here all the time.

Made a mistake of coming here again for their Taho. I was craving for it and thought i would give theirs a try. The taho they gave me has cockroach on it. Went back to ask for a refund, No sorry, Nothing. And not even surprise, They can't refund me right away and wanted me to wait just for them to say they will refund me the next day. A week later, No refund! This golden coin is just disgusting. I double check to see where the cockroach could've come from and seen all the add ons for Taho wasn't covered and just sitting on their counter wide open. No wonder.

Me and my co-worker ordered up a storm for take out! from here! Cup of Chicken tinola soup, pinakbet, grilled pork and chicken adobo with garlic fried rice and pancit, pork and veggie lumpias, puto and flan desserts. We had a Filipino food feast in the office! Their 2 choice plates are a good deal!

As a child, I remember sympathy Filipino delicacies. I loved being able to recognize a lot of them lol but some of them I had to question and see what the thing for made from or how it was prepared. I think my mom would've been embarrassed lol definitely got two bags of Chick Road but also got the bug And other Filipino delicacies of my childhood probably spent over $200 just buying childhood memories! I will definitely come back again again

Food is bland & dry, almost old, as if they had it sitting in the warmers for hours. Used to like ordering from there when I craved Filipino food, what a disappointment this time around! Not returning here after ordering a lot only to trash it!

Ordered the thanksgiving meal several years in a row.. alway great. This will be my go to from now on..

Kare kare is traditionally made with oxtail, but it's a sign of the times because this was made with plain beef cubes. Mostly veggies and tripe with a few pieces of beef.This is the large container ala carte with aramang for $15. It would last me a day or two. Cook your own rice at home. It was delicious. So many desserts to choose from. Free parking on site. Dining tables available. Staff are pleasant. I would return again. Support local!

5 stars for fresh taho alone 3 stars for taho that's been sitting on the counter3 stars for decent Filipino food...Overall 3 stars for a spot for a quick Filipino meal when you don't have time to cook, and the only restaurant on Oahu I know of that serves taho.

They gave left over pandesal! They all love to talk stories in Filipino and I can understand what the heck they talking about! I ain't not other nationality here! They don't have professional English talking

theres a roach in our food, not only that i found plastic in my pancit.I didnt mind at first because the plastic was small, but when i saw the roach in the kutsinta i had to write a review as it is a violation of health code, they are lucky im a forgiving person but i cant let this slide
