They have a great selection. The plants look very healthy. I'm glad I made the trip to Waimanalo. It's at the very beginning, so it's not that far.

Buying a plant for my mom for Mother's Day is like when a guy is buying jewelry for a gal.We don't know what the recipient has already and we don't know what the recipient wants. It's best to just bring the recipient to the store and let them select their own gift, right? It's better than giving them a gift card!Well... I know my mom. She's really picky about her plants. She has a purpose for each plant that she owns - the flowers will be arranged into a bouquet - or - the flowers will be made into a haku lei I've listened to her over the years and I know that she's missing certain colors of liko lehua. I couldn't remember exactly which colors she wanted, so, I asked her if she wanted to go to a Waimanalo nursery on Sunday or Monday. She chose Sunday... After church. Okay!I did a search on Yelp and many nurseries are closed on Sundays except for Glenn's Flowers and Plants. We drove over the Pali easily - no traffic! There were several areas to park. Yay!...and it wasn't crowded!Mom wandered around the plants in direct sunlight and the plants in indirect sunlight - this place is very organized and tidy! She almost got a yellow bougainvillea, but decided against it because she has a yellow Cup and Saucer plant. Ha! She asked if they had puakenikeni or liko lehua... None. Aww ...Oh, well... We had a nice time together. I enjoyed looking at the various plants and yard decorations. I know now where to go if I need healthy plants!

Open on Sundays from 8:00-3:00; almost missed out because of Apple Maps. Amazing nursery! Fair prices, and nice staff that were available for any questions. The selection was great, and it was lovely to be able to just walk around and look at the gorgeous plants. Definitely going back soon for more!

I was looking for eucalyptus but walked out with a large rosemary plant for $6. The other plants were so inexpensive especially when compared to places like Home Depot. The best part of my visit was that the staff is so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I learned so much about rosemary and the plant being safe for my puppy. I didn't know it repelled fleas and silverfish too. I will definitely be back for more plants in the future.

Failed at a spontaneous trip to Frankie's Nursery in the backroads of Waimanalo, but we didn't take it to heart but there is a plethora of amazing, local nurseries in the Waimanalo area that are worth a visit! Glenn's Flowers and Plants is not the exception!Glenn's doesn't look like much from the main road but once you park and take a stroll around, you see the lush bounty of potted plants all lined up in rows. The prices are extremely reasonable and the plants look happy and thriving. There are some young bonsai here for sale as well. I wanted to check out some pots as well, but the helpful auntie told me to go check out Geobunga instead. There is still a decent selection of pots here as well.

We needed some plants for inside of our place. They had a huge selection of anything you could think of. Super mom and pop vibes - which we loved. Also, everything was pretty affordable which made it tempting to buy a bunch of things. Will be back

Great place! Huge selection, super value, knowledgeable staff. Having searched all over the island, Glenn's is by far the cheapest with the broadest choice of plants, from indoor to outdoor. Way better than driving to one of the big named stores (Lowe's/Home Depot), or any of the other nursery's on the windward side. One stop for all things.

I've had the pleasure of going to Glenn's a couple of times. No easy feat as I live very far away. In fact I didn't even venture to Waimānalo for at least the first 20 years I lived here. But so happened I had a few events there recently, and while researching nurseries because this town is known for them, I noticed the great reviews for Glenn's.I can see why. When I've gone during the week and they're not too busy the service is great. When they're busy on weekends and there was only one worker, it wasn't so great and I can see why. It's hard work and hot too.The quality of the plants is excellent. No sickly looking specimens here. All the plants I noticed were vibrant and beautiful. Some were very inexpensive while others were priced more than I thought they should be. Could be because the variety was special and it was a gorgeous plant. I'm not an expert and I really wanted it instead of waiting for a year that was offered at another nursery. Sadly, I put it and other varieties of this kind of plant in a similar position but mine aren't doing as well. I'm going to move them to a shadier location as the sun amount might be similar but we get a lot less rain. Anyway, I also got a bag of cinders for a pretty good price. Not the best price but not the worst and good quality. Also stored well inside their nursery so I'm confident no Coconut Rhinoceros Beetles are in the bag. For that matter I didn't see any ants around so no Little Fire Ants either. The only downside I feel is there were not too many plants on display in the sunny area. I didn't look in the shade house as my area is sunny, hot, and dry. All and all I highly recommend Glenn's. I'd give 4.5* if I could.

This is my favorite local nursery. The people who run it are so nice and the layout is just fantastic. I was there on Father's Day and they gave some of the dads a free plant. They gave me one too even though I'm not a dad. So very sweet!
