Exceptional dining experience at Ginza Sushi!I've seen Ginza Sushi on Yelp countless times, but only today did I finally get to savor their offerings. My family and I had just stopped by Happy Lemon Ward during our 'Veteran's Day Adventure' when we spotted Ginza and decided to come back soon to try it out. Little did I know, "soon" would mean the very next day, but no complaints here! Haha! My wife is a devoted sushi enthusiast, so she suggested it for lunch today - lucky me! :DThe restaurant itself is cozy and intimate, with maybe 2 four-top tables outside and around 6-8 tables inside. The ambiance was enhanced by soothing "KennyG-like" tunes and holiday music, creating a pleasant backdrop for our surprise lunch date. Our server was outstanding, bringing humor and warmth to the experience. It was quiet when we first arrived, but by 1pm, a steady crowd started to fill the space... And that server stayed on point with all of us in the dining room. We always appreciate friendly, efficient service, so GREAT JOB - to him!Here's what we got:- 9pc Nigiri & Sashimi Set- Uni Nigiri- Uni Temaki- Scallop/Mayo Nigiri- Maguro- Natto Hosomaki w/Green Onions- Fried Calamari - Baked Mussels- Butteryaki ScallopsEverything was superb!My wife had high hopes for the Uni, and Ginza delivered beyond expectations - it was fresh and, as she described, "like buttah!" The ahi, salmon, and hamachi were also incredibly fresh, practically melting in your mouth. I'm not sure how Ginza manages to offer such high-quality sushi at these reasonable prices, especially in this area, but we're more than happy to enjoy it while we can. It's rare these days to find a place that doesn't inflate prices, so discovering an excellent sushi spot with fair pricing made the experience even more rewarding.Thanks Ginza & staff!

Love this place!!!!! 10/10 Been here a couple of times already and every time I come the service is superb and the food is so Ono-licious! The staff is all so friendly too. My bf's new favorite roll is the avenger roll and that is sooooo bomb!! I'm more of a baked girlie so I like the bomb roll. Their sake is also really good!! It's a cute place, located on the outside of the ward shopping plaza, right next to Happy Lemon. Parking is convenient, they have the free structure to park in. Although it can be packed sometimes, it doesn't hurt to park higher as the stalls can be tight. It's also nice to come to after watching a movie since they close late. We decided to walk over once instead of driving to get some steps in after a nice movie. Try it! You won't regret it, honestly. I'll come back time and time again :)

I had the pleasure of eating at Ginza sushi on a Sunday afternoon around 130. My kids wanted to eat cucumber maki, and this was one of a few places in the area after visiting KidCity that we could sit down and enjoy some food. They had lunch specials until 3 pm so we decided to try two. I got the chicken karaage lunch special that comes with miso soup, a side salad, and a bowl of rice. My kids both got a cucumber maki and a musubi plus gyoza to share. We were the only ones in the restaurant for a while so we had a lot of attention from the servers who provided us quick service and constantly refills of our drinks. The food was good however I don't think we got anything too extravagant. My only complaints were that there were fish eggs in the sauce that came with the chicken karaage and they automatically added 20% gratuity for parties of 5 or more even though we had two adults and three children.Parking is located on the backside of the restaurant or across the street. There is also a handy bus stop right in front of you are catching The Bus.

This is a fantastic place. I ordered the Nigiri Omakase, and the fish was so fresh and tender. Service is friendly and quick too. We arrived around 5:30pm on a Saturday evening, and we easily got a table. As it approached 6:00pm, more and more people entered and the staff set up the iPad at the door for the waitlist. It's a small, casual place with about 8 to 10 tables. There's a couple of tables outside. Definitely would return!

Got 2 rolls (Avengers and the Bomb) for takeout and really enjoyed both - this is the exact type of sushi rolls I like, with creative garnishes/toppings and all. I would definitely come back but dine in person next time. We were told when ordering that it would take 30 minutes but had to wait an additional 15 once we arrived which wasn't optimal since we were on a time crunch, but we didn't have other issues besides that. Can't wait to try more delicious rolls next time!

First time coming here since was hungry and looked good! Got the lunch special of butterfish was amazing. Melted in my mouth. My friends got sushi and looked really yummy. The service was very fast since the restaurant was half full and was during a lunch time. There is indoor seating with comfortable cushions as well as outdoor seating.

Ginza Sushi entrance is located on Auahi St and is part of Ward Center.I came here with family members at 5pm when they opened and was already half full with customers. This not a large restaurant, but it's comfortable.I felt like eating sushi and drinking some Dassai 45 along with a beer. Hey, don't judge, that's the way I roll, lol. I decided on the Omakase sushi platter as I wanted to be surprised on what he decided to offer. Everyone else ate Teishoku's which included Miso Soup, Green Salad, Bowl of rice, Main dish and dessert. Pretty good deal for the price with good size portions.Everyone was happy with their choices, as I was also. Ginza's menu offer a variety of dishes, so it should have something for even the picky eater. Service was attentive and efficient.

Convenient decent Japanese spot in Ward. They have teishoku options, soba, donburi, sushi rolls and more. Prices can add up and for 2 people it was about $50. Waiter was friendly, welcoming, and informative when asked about the menu options. Food came out quick and the spicy ahi was . Fish tasted fresh and you can add on a side like seaweed salad for an extra cost. Tempura came out warm but the potato was a little under cooked and the batter didn't have much flavor. Overall a decent spot when craving Japanese.

Came here because we saw good reviews. We came on a weekday and it was quite slow, luckily for us we got seated promptly and our food came out quick. The restaurant's ambiance was nice and relaxing. We order a few rolls, hand rolls, miso, and gyozas. The rolls were fresh and delicious but the amount of sauce they put on top was too overwhelming. As for the hand rolls they were perfect. The miso was good, but when asked for a spoon our server made a comment about how in true Japanese traditions miso is meant to be sipped from the bowl...which I understand, but his tone was quite rude. My favorite were the gyozas, definitely wish I could have ordered more but we were so full.

Food was to die for! I loved the rolls I got (Ginza Special and Bomb and Beauty and the Beast) and the Gyoza was the best I've ever had. The owner was very very kind and cared so much about providing us great service.
