I can't recommend Gesik Therapy enough! Over the years, I've sought treatment for three different issues, and each time, Osho, Kylie, and Patrick have been exceptional. They've not only resolved my first two problems but have also made significant improvements to my third. I'm incredibly grateful for their expertise and care and thanks to them, I am able to enjoy my favorite activities. :)

I was referred to Gesik PT by Dr. Ignacio for ankle pain.Being a guy, I figured I knew what to do and I could relieve the pain myself--- so I went a month of trying different things to help my situation. And as fate would have it, I didn't relieve any pain; ... and I prob made it worst. Anyway, after the first few sessions with Patrick, Osho and Kylie my ankle felt a little better. I did the stretching exercises they recommended and was able to walk a little better.I was getting down that I wasn't fully recovered (in my timeframe), but then after about the third week, I was walking close to 90% with hardly any pain. It motivated me to keep doing the stretching exercises.Things are getting better and better with my ankle and I still have a few more sessions with Gesik PT and I'm hoping to get my ankle to the point where it is even better that before I injured it. Trust these guys. They know what they are doing.

I went for my first physical therapy session earlier this week at Gesik Physical Therapy. Located on Ala Moana Blvd across from Highway Inn, this was very close to my workplace in downtown. I went after work, and there was ample parking. Got to park near the elevator, and went straight up to their office on 7th floor. When I walked in, I loved how welcoming the staff were and how nice the office was. Since it was my first time, I had to fill out forms and the staff had to make a copy of my ID and insurance card. My appointment was at 5:15 and I got seen at 5:30ish (not a bad wait, I was honestly expecting to wait longer since I normally do at other doctor's offices). Patrick was really professional yet relaxed. He made me feel comfortable. He listened to how I got hurt, asked me what my fitness goals are, then examined my knee. What's great is that they primarily treat athletes, so they will be able to tell which fitness regimen to put you on. Whether you are trying to be able to walk and lift heavy objects every day or go back to running marathons, they will know what is right for you. Also, osteopathic medicine is AMAZING. I get treated by Dr. Nicole Gesik (his sister) and both her and Patrick are experts at what they do. I then saw Erin, who showed me different exercises that I can do at home until I see them again. She was able to give me direction as well as printed me pictures and instructions of how to do the stretches at home. Love!!Finally, the staff. Kiana was AWESOME as she was able to get me in for this appointment before Patrick went on vacation. She was so good at accommodating me and other customers. Super organized, professional and friendly. YES. If you've been looking for physical therapy, check out Gesik Physical Therapy. I can't wait for my next visit!

The arthritis in both my knees and feet is bad, and getting worse. Due to a variety of factors, I got to the point where I could barely walk or stand. I just finished PT on the knees with Derek. He performed manipulation, we did some exercise in the studio, and he gave me exercises to do on my own. Recently I was able to take the stairs normally, which is something I haven't been able to do in several years.I just started PT on my feet. I've had one session and already things are better. I have exercises to do specifically for my feet. The exercises are emailed to you, making it easier to remember what you are supposed to do. Derek is typically on time. The few times he is behind, it's usually no more than about 5 minutes. The entrance to the parking garage is from Coral Street, in between Ala Moana Blvd. and Ilalo Street. They validate parking. IMPORTANT - make sure to take the Ewa (Keawe Street side) elevators. If you park in the garage, the Ewa elevators are the ones you'll use. I don't recommend using the Diamond Head (Coral Street side) elevators. It is highly likely you will get totally lost. It also involves stairs and steps, which is not the case if you use the Ewa elevators.

As I'm about to wrap up multiple sessions of PT aimed at resolving a shoulder impingement, I wanted to make sure I highlighted Dr. Patrick Gesik and his team for their outstanding work, professionalism, and service from start to finish.Gesik Physical Therapy's team is always friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I especially appreciate the text message reminders about my upcoming appointments, and how they made great efforts to schedule appointments around my availability. The office and facilities are immaculately clean in these COVID-19 times, and the office location in Kaka'ako is accessible and convenient with lots of parking and is within walking and biking distance from Downtown.I had great results in resolving my shoulder issue from Dr. Patrick and Jeff, and would recommend Gesik Physical Therapy to anyone needing quality, effective therapy. I looked forward to every appointment, appreciating the skill and results of each session. 100% would recommend!

Great place to go for PT! Their office is super clean & modern. EVERYONE working there is always smiling and happy. They make you feel welcomed and cared for. Erin and Osho fixed my rotator cuff pain/tightness in 8 sessions. It was such a pleasant experience that it felt more like friends treating me than actual Physical therapists. Every session built on the next with explanations on how and why things were done. It's crazy how they could press/push on painful areas of my shoulder, trap, or back and then move my head and neck for a few minutes and then the pain was gone! Magic fingers! They got skills! Serious. The front desk staff is very nice too. Every pleasant health care experience begins and ends with the front desk. It's refreshing to be greeted with a smile and a caring/appreciative tone of voice on every visit. Parking is easy too and they validate. Park in the structure and the elevator takes you right up to the office door on the right. Simple. They also have text message reminders/confirmations. Just be sure to cancel or change your appointment greater than 24 hours before. If you need PT, go to Gesik PT!

Dr. Patrick Gesik brought me back to what I love most doing, running. I painfully walked in with a heel spur. I'm not completely cured, because it's on me. What Dr. Gesik & associates (Erin & Kelly) brought to my attention is how my heel spur was created. With that knowledge, they taught me multiple ways of stretching & strength workouts to balance my posture while running. I've learned to acknowledge all signs that my fatigue body is offering & take action. To take a rest day or cross train by elliptical or aqua jog. Thank you!

When I first started with Patrick, I could only raise my left arm no higher than my chest. At the end of my treatments, I could raise my arm past my ears. I couldn't believe after only a month of therapy that my shoulder was getting better. From what i've been hearing, if I had gone to another therapist I would still be in therapy. What? You mean not all therapy is the same? I am so grateful that I was referred to Patrick. Patrick also gave me strengthening exercises to do at home to help me progress.Which I think is what helped me recover faster. Towards the ending of my therapy was when I was introduced to Derek, another therapist who works with Patrick. I must say he is just as good as Patrick. Although he made me work harder while doing strength training...grrrr...just kidding. I would def go back there for any kind of injury...not that I want to go back...hahahaha.His office is in the Gold Bond Building on Ala Moana Blvd. If you don't know where that is, it's across the new Highway Inn Restaurant, and if you don't know where that is, it's diagonally across from the Volvo Dealership. When you first walk into his office you are filled with positive energy. Kaili the receptionist is the sweetest girl. The waiting area is very open and not stuffy. But who needs a waiting room? As soon as you sit, they're calling you into their office. That's what I absolute love about this office. They never keep you waiting. Now...here come's the best part...are you ready? THE VIEW!!! When you walk into their office or the gym....the view is GORGEOUS! They have floor to ceiling glass windows. You can see the ocean. Who wouldn't want to see the ocean while doing exercises? I just want to go back for the view...hahahaha. Parking. I was always dropped off, so I don't know too much about the parking. But I did notice that there was parking on the same floor that his office was on. Would I recommend going to see Patrick or Derek? YES!! Not only are they good at what they do, but they are very personable. I just can't say enough good things about this company. Thanks...Patrick, Derek and Kaili!!!

The therapist I saw seemed disinterested, almost annoyed, when we first met. Beyond the personality issues, however, the minor stretches and exercises she gave me on the day of my visit were ineffective and actually caused sharp pain that day and the following days. But, I never got a follow up call from their office to see how things went. Luckily, a chiropractor I saw subsequently fixed the pains I acquired from "physical therapy."Know of someone else who had a negative experience at this office even though the "reviews" seem so high. Hadn't known about their negative experience prior to my own visit there...but learned about it from telling them about my experience. Otherwise I would have had more questions about who I was seeing prior to my appointment. But, referring doctor seemed to say any of the therapists could help me. So, unfortunately, trusted that doctor's advice.

This is the best Physical Therapy clinic in Hawaii (I've been to several in my liftetime) where a caring and professional PT will treat you the entire session and you are greeted at the door with a friendly and professional staff. Intensive training is provided to their PTs before they work independently (I admire that in a business such as this). My family and friends have been treated here and they all give them 5 stars!First, my son hurt his back at the beach while on summer break. He had severe lower back pain, couldn't walk and an MRI showed a slipped lumbar disc. I was afraid that he'd need surgery at such a young age. The neurosurgeon (Dr. Obana) said that there is one PT who has shown progress in his "non-surgical" back injury patients and he sent my son to Patrick Gesik, PT. Within two weeks of PT, my son was walking fine and off to college on the mainland! Second, my husband had elbow pain golfing and suffered for months doing massage and wearing an arm band which didn't help. I sent him to Nicole Gesik, osteopath, for an evaluation. She diagnosed him with a neck issue and referred him to Gesik PT where he made a 100% recovery after their treatments and PT exercises.Thirdly, my other son, an avid rock climber, came home complaining of forearm pain and tightness that he couldn't massage out. After one session with Patrick Gesik, and stretching exercises, he felt immediate relief. Fourth, my 89 year mother has suffered from back issues for years. After a fall, she had difficulty walking due to pain. She is much better after Gesik PT and still talks about her Japanese speaking PT, Osho! She just loves him!As for friends, a golfer friend of ours hurt his back and could barely walk (and could not golf). He told me that he had a "non-surgical" back injury and his PT didn't help so I suggested he get a new prescription for Gesik PT. A few months later, I ran into him and he gave me a BIG HUG for referring me to Gesik PT as he was back golfing again! Other friends, Sandy, Susan and KaiNoa all have had therapy with Gesik PT and have only nice things to say about them and their recovery. And lastly, for myself, over the years, I suffered from many ailments and injuries (arthritis, rotator cuff repair, knee injury, ankle pain, and lower back/neck pain) and am always amazed at how Gesik PT's therapy has helped me. I've worked with all of the Physical Therapists there and love them all!
