The maze in Mililani...One of the most confusing designs of the traffic flow is found here in Mililani. Lots of great biz are found here in the Gateway at Mililani Mauka which is found right at the freeway entrance/exits with McDonald's being the prominent building viewable. There is Hele along with Starbucks and McDonald's that does draw in many for the drive thru convenience and does make it a challenge navigating between others while some parking area are for specific biz.The impressive selections of shops, restaurants and personal services are found here which I do love just be mindful of the drive thru lines that some may be patiently waiting it's not the greatest place if you're in a rush and aren't familiar with the layout.Thank you!

While I'm happy for the residents of Mililani having access to great restaurants and other services, I must say the parking and driving situation is quite complicated.A four way intersection with a drive-through line snaking through it? I was blockaded by a huge truck in that line while I was trying to exit my parking stall. Needless to say, I was stressed out navigating the stops, yields, and one-ways -- I don't blame the people for being a ball of nerves with such ridiculous and potentially dangerous circumstances!I've come here many times and sometimes it's a hit or miss but when it misses, boy, does it miss hard.

I live close by, so I'm at this shopping center quite a bit. It has changed the community as we no longer need to drive farther away to go to Longs. They also have a Starbucks, and new stores/restaurants that occupy the empty spaces. What I love mostly about this place, is Longs pharmacy has a drive thru! Parking is okay, but can get pretty hectic, lots of cars driving in and out daily from this place. I do appreciate having this shopping center near home.

I really love this little shopping/dinning spot. It has a few of my favorite things: coffee (Starbucks), desserts (Sugar Coated), and pizza (Domino's). What more can a girl ask for!? I live in Mililani Town so I don't frequent this location very often but when I do I thoroughly enjoy it.

This shopping center has really changed over the years... Originally it was just McDonald's and a gas station. Now there is a longs drugs, Starbucks, a comic bookstore, and plenty of restaurants! Just to name a few are wingstop, mauka Chinese, and gyu-kaku!Though I have to admit, with the new developments have come with parking issues. Cause it's so crowded, you may have to park far and their are no crosswalks or pathways. You will have to walk through the parking lot, so keep small kids directly by your side and watch out for careless drivers!!

Gateway is located on the Mauka side a Ross the Mililani party rental halls, directly on the left as you come off the Mililani Mauka Exit.Shopping center is pretty straight forward with eateries such as Wing stop, Chinese restaurants, McDonald's ets. A Longs department store is also located here along with a Pet Co for your furry animals. Parking is plenty, and easy area to navigate through.

This new development of stores is still growing and hopefully adding more and new stores. It so far has a gas station, McDonalds, Starbucks, a Longs Drugs, Subway, Rise & Shine Cafe, Pet store, Nail salon, Florist and more... the list goes on. It's a cute little area for a quick stop and shop on the way home or a quick stop to somewhere for something.I used to frequent this area a lot when I lived in Mauka but now I am there every weekend when I visit family. It is just a convenient place for a fast bite, coffee craving or to buy something at Longs. Who can resist Longs? I know I can't. Even if it's just to browse.3 out of 5 stars only because it is still in development, and I can't wait to see what other new places open up here!

Bad parking and no crosswalks. Good luck getting from Longs to Starbucks to Gyu Kaku side. Mauka drivers people don't let you cross. The selection of eateries is good but they're places you can find elsewhere. So, if I had a choice I wouldn't go back here.

If you're an OG Mauka resident, then you too were probably ecstatic when they started developing this to bring restaurants to Mauka. But what we got is a chop shop of poorly planned, ridiculous and just straight up dumb segregated areas in a tight lot that makes no sense. It's clear this was rolled out in phases with little to no foresight as to how each section would flow together. Who decided it would be smart to stick a drive-thru Starbucks in the middle of the shopping center, right in the path of the main exits and entrances? Blocks those trying to get to or leave Longs and is unsafe and dumb. And don't even get me started on the number of times someone leaving Starbucks has just driven out into traffic, no yielding, bc they're too focused on the coffee to pay attention. Trying to turn left out onto Ukuwai? Have fun waiting for that line of cars turning left into the shopping center that will not let you go bc people seem to lose their sense of consideration for others when navigating this maze. It's super fun when this ends up resulting in a nice little block-in in which no one can actually move in or out bc people don't pay attention or think ahead. Thought you'd grab a quick and convenient bite at McD's? Pick an off time or you'll be awkwardly stuck trying to turn to even get into the parking area and let's not forget the awkwardness of cars coming from multiple directions to access the drive-thru lines. Have actually seen people arguing and honking over who should go next for the line-up. They have mobile pick-up stalls if the drive-thru is long, but you can't even get to those stalls when the two-line system means access to that parking is blocked. Used to prefer walk-ins bc of the bad drive-in situation, but can't even do that anymore bc they take forever (I admit this is a McD's issue and not the Gateway's fault). Waste time. Gyu-Kaku side and even Subway aide area are also no better in the cluster eff department unless you go during weird times. Not to mention, the back-ups on Meheula this shopping center has created. I assure you, it was NOT like that in the old days. Gosh I miss the days when this was just a dirt field with a gas station, and then the dirt field, gas station, and McDonald's. At least you could maneuver and finding parking. This shopping center is a great example of "be careful what you wish for" and poor planning/thinking ahead. Truly baffles me that someone designed this, and they actually went through with constructing it.
