Fujioka Wine Times

On a busy Saturday before Christmas, decided to have brunch and shop at Kapolei Commons as I needed bottles of wine to fill the wine bags I bought in Maui for gifts. We made our way over to Fujioka's a little after 1 pm when we were invited to join the wine tasting that had just started in the back of the store. It's a great setup that is sectioned off. And if the bar is full, they do have two pub tables available. Not sure if some of the people are regulars but they just be hanging out and relaxing. The sommeliers were so helpful and knowledgeable. And although they had wines starting at $20 to $80, I ended up buying a 1/2 dozen of the least expensive Pinot noir we were sampling. And although it was the least expensive, it was the newest brand and it was really good. The 1 pm is not part of the usual schedule. Sunday also not part of the usual schedule but they had sake tasting the next day. Regularly scheduled tastings are Friday from 5-7 pm sampling whiskey and Saturdays from 3-5 sampling wines. What they don't have are charcuterie boards and I didn't ask if we could bring our own next time. They also have a great selection of international sodas and so we picked up some of those too. If you're a cigar aficionado, you can pickup supplies here and even enjoy it with the brand new bottle of whiskey following the tasting. Look forward to returning and bringing visiting family here

This is such a new place it's a secret gem right now. They have wine tastings posted outside the window and the service is spectacular. Everyone is friendly and kind. If your gonna be stuck commuting it's worth a stop while your out in the plaza shopping. They have canned drinks and wines I can only find here! It's been nice having a nice nook so inviting and comfortable. Massage envy is next door so I stop by and grab a tasting before I head over. It's a nice start to my relaxing experience next door.

Finally they open on the west side in Kapolei I've been going to the Kaimuki location 1-2x a month to either see what's new in stores or pick up a wine or so for the weekend or dinner the workers there are truly awesome they really help you out on pairing things out with there selections now that they out in the west can't wait to attend some of there tasting and other events

Kind of want to gatekeep this place because the tastings are already getting quite crowded and popular! However it has been a great way to learn about European and domestic wines I know nothing about. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. There are some great finds at all price points. Hopefully they will bring in more foodie things too.

Great customer service in and out! Picked up my favorite champagne for our 27 year anniversary coming up. Beautiful store setup and didn't get to checkout any food selection. Right next to massage envy in Kapolei perfect location to get gifts for others or yourself lol. Prices are very reasonable. Congratulations on your new store! Arigato for your help.

Very good store. Fun (free!) wine tastings. It's a small store, but what impresses me is they will order bottles for you from a distributor -- even just one bottle! If you can be a little patient, they can get bottles I cant find any place else. If they have it at their larger store they will also transfer it to Kapolei so even though store is small, they have the big city store as supplier. I like that the store is new, clean, and well organized. I was able to cancel my online wine membership and use this store. Nice cigar and excellent liquor section also. Hawaii prices are high, but I find this place is not trying to completely gouge me, unlike some others. In my opinion, this is the best wine/liquor/cigar store in Hawaii.

I was waiting for this place to open because I've always liked the selection Times has offered. And it didn't disappoint! Although it's a small space in a strip mall, it's filled with a variety of European wines, Japanese sake, local finds and beer and liquor as well. Better yet, the employees were very knowledgeable and the service was great. The person who helped me picked out a nice red Chianti from Italy and my husband said it was a delicious dry wine. I on the other hand enjoyed my Okinawan Orion and some smoked ahi dip with a local brand lavosh:) I thought it was a nice addition to this shop to have refrigerated food items that complements the alcohol lol. They also had snacks to make a small charcuterie for yourself! Overall I'm happy there's a new spot in Kapolei to maybe find something different. Just hope it can compete with Costco being across the street with all the reasonable great wine. Then again, I forgot to mention they have a cool area in the back where they hold free wine tasting on numerous occasions just follow on IG for updates on events! Happy drinking!

Came in to get a gift for someone who likes cigars and whiskey. Asked for recommendations because I don't have any knowledge in either and was given great recommendations for both. The person who received the gift really liked both. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. There was also a free wine tasting which offered great wines for you to sample. Picked up three great bottles after the tasting.

Great Customer Service from everyone working in this super clean and well-stocked wine/spirits/beer/cigars store! Tastings every week seem to address all sorts of interests. The only thing missing is a cigar lounge or area to sit outside and enjoy a stick and beverage. They are willing and able to place special orders in addition to their numerous varietals.
