Fuji Takeout

I pass this food establishment couple of time so decided to stop and order lunch . To my surprise pretty good menu and average in price I ordered their Meat Jun and Mandoo Combo it was ok the meat jun was really soaked with sauce so it went through the egg batter . The Mandoo was good as well lots of taste . The side vegetables changes day to day so just happen my side were seaweed, Kim Chee, takuwon , and corn . Some days there's Mac salad and bean sprouts. Right next door they also own Fuji Market a little sundries store . The only bad thing parking is only street parking but not to bad if you go there when it's not busy like before lunch hour or dinner like anywhere else . Support local

I was not expecting much, but as a former chef, I was really in the mood for Kalbi, meatjun, so I happened to find this hidden hole in the wall on N. King Street and ordered kalbi, meat jun, combo plate. It was hands down, the best kalbi I ever ate here in Hawaii. I spoke to and met Dong, the chef and Vicky, his wife. They just opened up not to long ago.The parents own and operate the food and alcohol store next door. So, if you want to the best in Korean food, I highly recommend Fuji Takeout!

I'm glad I found this place! It's korean bbq so close to home. Price is affordable. Food is delicious! And the owners are so friendly!! My faves are the mandoo, kimchee fried rice, and the kalbi. My hubby loves the spicy pork. Definitely adding this place to our usual "go-to" spots when we're too lazy too cook lol.

Portions are good and the kimchi rice is so tasty! So far have tried the bbq chicken, garlic shrimp, meat Jim, man doo, kimchi fried rice, and shrimp fried rice. All were very good!

Extremely clean, friendly service, great food and good portion sizes. I came 20 minutes before they opened but the lady owner was kind enough to take my order. Freshly made to order, we had their delicious spicy pork, bbq pork, meat jun and bulgogi bentos. Everything was very tasty and cooked well. The entrees paired beautifully with the banchan side dishes. Too bad we are visiting, otherwise we would frequent this place more often. I hope they can flourish in this covid ravaged economy.Oh, and if they have the aloha canned coffee, get it. One of the better coffee in a can drinks.
