Don't skip out on this hidden gem! Took a chance and tried somewhere new. Service - Amazing! Locally owned. The owner (I assumed) was personable and kind. Carried on a conversation while we ate and he was able to tell us about the restaurant and how the dishes were developed. The meal was definitely something g to come back for. You can tell it was authentic and handmade. Even the salad dressing g was made in house was DELICIOUS! We will definitely come back here over Olive Garden or anywhere like that.

Fratellis is located towards the end of Waipahu in a strip mall. There's lots of parking available too. I heard that the owners came from paesanos and started their own business so I wanted to support. I've actually came here twice already. I thought that I would give them another shot since the food was pretty average the first time I went and maybe ordered the wrong items. Everyone raved about their lasagna so that is what I ended up trying that was only able to be a combo with any of their chicken items that's on their menu. Their lasagna was probably the better choice - and not too cheesy which I appreciated. The chicken portion of the meal was slightly undercooked so I popped it in the microwave for a bit. I also picked up a plantation ice tea which was unsweetened. The service on the other hand was really great. However, I don't think this is something I would go out of my way to drive out of town for. But this is probably a good option if you live on the west side.

First time eating here. Owner was helpful in suggesting combos. Each combo was a little expensive at $20 a plate but it's good quality ingredients.

Went back with my friends from Tennis, Decided to eat some good Italian Food in Waipahu, Nothing fancy, No dinner plates, just plastic containers with reasonable price. The owner Ming and his wife Sisi always try to accommodate your wishes when ordering. The service is always excellent. We have been searching for a good Italian restaurant on the West side and this small hole in the wall restaurant is a hidden gem! Noodles are perfectly cooked, simple and fresh ingredients but delish! The owners are super friendly too!

I can't wait to give this place another try. I ordered a combo that was listed as a popular item. I'm not much of a lasagna fan but hey, if the people order this the most I will try it! A man also in teh dining area stated he could drink their sauce, it's that delicious and I have to agree! The red sauce with the lasagna was really good. I need to return and just have sauce and noodles!The Alfredo sauce was good and the chicken was tender and flavorful. I enjoyed the spinach in the sauce and mixed what I could of the Alfredo with the red marinara sauce. The dining area is small but sufficient if you're here to sit for a few minutes to eat. I took my order to go and look forward to eating take out again soon.

It's rare and wonderful these days to have such generous portions. You can definitely have plenty to eat a second meal with their entrees. The food was good. We got the linguine with fish picatta (two fish fillets perfectly pan fried with a light golden crust (no batter) with a butter wine sauce and capers over pasta). We also had the linguine with garlic basil fish (fried basil and garlic). It was a bit too salty for us but very tasty. We also had the calamari appetizer- the sauce was really unique and tasty. And we had a side of garlic bread. You can't ever go wrong with garlic bread! What is an Italian meal without it? All in all solid Italian food. They had a lot of options on their menu- will have to try more next time. Also, very important detail/ they were fast!

Fratelli Express is owned by former Paesano Manoa staff members (from what I've been told). Congratulations to them for getting together and opening up something of their own! They are located in Waipahu so it's a journey for all those who want to support them from town. Lunch Buddy suggested dining at Fratelli Express and we all wanted to support them so we decided to do dinner there. The Mayor of Chinatown dined here a week before our planned dinner so he was able to provide valuable insight from his dining experience. His order sounded really good so I knew what I was going to order when we all met up. The menu is simple just like the dining area of the restaurant. They can accommodate small to medium size parties. It's not fine dining but you get good food from friendly people. We had great customer service all night! I ordered their lasagna and chicken pasta combo. You can pick any of the chicken pasta dishes on the menu so I picked their Chicken Pomodori. I was last to get my meal but it was a full plate and it was really good! The garlic bread was perfect to soak up all the sauces. I believe it was one of the owners that said the Mayor of Chinatown's Yelp photo made the lasagna combo a top seller and I can see why! Excellent choice and amazing value. Highly recommended and I see what they were consistently busy all night.

The service was quick and the food was ono!!Got to sit down and have their garlic bread fresh, Amazing!!
