The food here is really good!I got the guava French toast and it was like a brioche bun with guava infused flavors. It tasted like a tropical cloud in my mouth. My friends got the açaí bowl and it tasted fresh, aswell as the breakfast burrito and it was super delicious. The restaurant is housed outside of a cute hotel and it's like a hybrid of an American diner with a tropical feel to it. We will definitely be back.

Forty Niner Waikiki is the sister eatery of the local favorite Forty Niner diner in Aiea. It's strictly order and go, but there are a few tables just to the left of the take in window to dine on. The price for breakfast is very reasonable for Waikiki. This was a welcome surprise. The menu selection is very good. There are many food options. The Loco Moco hamburger patty was not hard & dry or burnt. It was very Soft and tasty. A definite winna!! The taro sweet bread was delicious! Taro bread is on the dense side as it is naturally is, but still flavorful. We enjoyed our experience at Forty Niner in Waikiki. I highly recommend given this eatery a try!

Really unfair to charge $13 for 2 pancakes and serve a charred pancake hoping the ube sauce would cover up the look but the taste is not ignoreable. I tried calling to see what they could do for me but thanks to the unworking phone my only resort is writing a review so people know to at minimum check your pancake before leaving or avoid this order due to lack of trust in their integrity of serving good food. That being said everyone else in my party enjoyed their order. Advice:Fix your phone. Also fix your website link because we also accidentally ordered at their far away location because they connected their waikiki take out order system to their other location. Watch out for that!

Love the store front in Aiea. I was very disappointed with the level of service & food quality we received as a local family during our mini staycation in Waikiki. Our servers were pretty cold. No warmth or aloha. Our pancakes burnt with a trickle of haupia sauce. I will continue to patron local but Waikīkī location not a place for us to revisit. Do better!

The service was good. Cute clean hotel lobby. The food was a decent breakfast for a really good price as far as Hawaii goes. I got a pancake two eggs and 4 1/2 strips of bacon with a can of pineapple juice for $12 it was quick and easy before we went on an excursion and located in a convenient place.

I explored the area around the place we were staying at to see what restaurants were around. I knew about the 49er restaurant out in the Aiea area so I was happy to see a 49er location in the Waikīkī area. The menu is much smaller at the Waikīkī location. I usually don't eat breakfast but since I was on vacation I got breakfast one morning. I ordered the Big Boy Breakfast which comes with 3 eggs, fried rice, two pieces of spam, two pieces of Portuguese sausage and two strips of bacon. I ordered my eggs scrambled. I was hoping to get two scrambled and one over medium but you have to choose just one style. They stirred the eggs and then cook them like an omelet. They were surprisingly soft, cooked just right, not too dry or wet. All of the meats were cooked medium, not dry or under cooked. Overall, a good breakfast that I cut up to create an upscale fried rice with eggs and meat.On my next trip, I plan to try some of the other breakfast dishes and one of the lunches. I wished that had the same menu as the other location. For a good breakfast, give 49er a try. Good food, service and value (not overpriced like many of the establishments in Waikiki).

This spot is located in a lobby of a hotel/apartment complex and has a few tables and chairs to sit. It's essentially outdoor seating and very casual. There are a couple things that impressed me... one is the service and the second is the prices. Let's start with food prices; Hawaii is known for being expensive, but this place has very reasonable pricing for its food. Most dishes are around the $10 range. As for the service, they are super friendly. I ordered the Açaí Bowl which was good, not the best in Waikiki, but it's good. It comes frozen, so all pre-made. The medium bowl was pretty small too. There's a nut dust topping to it which was a good addition, providing some "crunch" with every bite. Again, it was good.Anyways, the Forty Niner is a good option in Waikiki for breakfast!

Stumbled on this hidden gem when looking for a brunch spot and it did not disappoint! They got you covered whether it's sweet or savory - went twice during my visit and enjoyed their signature Loco Moco & Ube Pancakes for sure! Went back again for that Omelette Rice and Lemon Pancakes which were pretty bomb as well, definitely a great spot for a quick and easy mall right at the Island Colony! Check them out in the heart of Downtown Waikiki! Just as great as the OG spot

The other breakfast items were much better than the breakfast burritos. It is very little protein and lots of carbs. The fried rice didn't have much taste. Average at best.

We stopped by for breakfast after finding this spot on Yelp! We circled around a bit looking for parking and finally found one and walked up. We ordered a variety of pancakes and breakfast items! My absolute favorite was the fried rice!!!! The ambience was very nice and the area was clean. The person taking our order wasn't super friendly but the food was good overall. Note: The restaurant is in the lobby of a hotel, so upon leaving I saw there is a parking garage if you prefer to pay to park there versus street parking.
