Fortune Tea

Refreshing beverage in Honolulu, Hawaii...Driving down Pensacola Street towards the ocean (makai direction), I noticed the second location of Fortune Tea, on the left side of this one-way street. (The first location is on Pali Highway, on the same block as Longs and Safeway.)I wondered where the parking would be because this is a busy area - across from Kaiser Clinic on the Pensacola Street side and Walgreens on the Young Street side. I read Irene M.'s review and found the free L-shaped parking lot behind the building. Yippee! Enter from Pensacola Street and exit onto Young Street. I sat down in front of the fan because it was a bit warm. Some teenage girls were kinda loud in the corner, but the worker kept calm - even though there was a steady stream of walk-in customers!I finally decided to get one of the most popular drinks: mango Sago with Grapefruit... it was on the thick side - not like a fruit tea. I liked it! The real Grapefruit bits were like small, tart popping boba... LOL!I'd return for the cute decor and convenient location!

YUM -I loved Fortune Tea, as their tea drinks were super delicious and refreshing, and I just wished I went there more often when I was in the area!Their menu offers milk teas, whole milk drinks, coconut lattes, fruit teas, cheese fruit teas, sparkling water options, as well as smoothies.I ordered:+the Pineapple Lemonade+and, the Guava lemonadeBoth were prepared very well, as the tea was steeped perfectly.Staff was very kind and friendly, and there is just a couple of seating available inside.A convenient small lot is adjacent to the building to park your car.+delicious fruit tea drinks+friendly service+parking spots adjacent to the building

Fortune Tea is a semi-hidden gem. Overall, it's a super cute, unique boba shop. Each boba drink has a fortune, hence the name![Location]This Fortune Tea is close to Walgreens and Kaiser Permanente. I believe there's free parking behind the store. The outside is unassuming but the inside is clean and cute.[Drink]I ordered a Passion Jasmine Tea with boba (75% sweetness), and my boyfriend ordered a Guava Lemonade with boba (75% sweetness). Both drinks were delicious! Refreshing and perfectly fruity. The boba was fresh and delicious. The drinks were reasonably priced.[Service]The employee who helped us was super nice and efficient.[Seating]They have two major seating areas. Seems like a nice place to catch up with a friend. I did not see a restroom for customers. Not sure if they have WiFi.I definitely recommend trying this place and supporting this business!

They're really good specialty bubble teas and affordable at the same time. I like the crime brûlée milk tea with boba and usually order it at 70% sweet. The dango milk tea comes with a set of cute dango to eat.

This review is based on my first one-time visit. I usually order a basic milk tea boba whenever I try out a new boba shop, and their jasmine milk tea with boba didn't disappoint! I'm not big into sweets, so I usually order my drinks at a 25% sweetness level Their jasmine milk tea was good -- light and fragrant, with the delicate jasmine flavors coming through in every sip. The texture and sweetness of the boba pearls were just right! I'd visit again to try out their other options, like the fruit teas! Oh, and they offer a stamp card, so you can get a free drink after racking up 10 drink purchases!P.S. I was able to do dairy-free option for my boba milk tea. Certain drinks are/can be with the dairy free option, while others are, so just ask beforehand!P.P.S There's a tiny parking lot with designated customer stalls. Enter the lot from Pensacola St.

Here's to good Fortune!Congratulations fortune Tea on your second location and making it easier for tea time as it's right across Kaiser on Pensacola street. Yes getting there is easy though it's on a one way street you need to pass the building and the driveway is right beside the watch repair shop. Majority of the stall are reserved so it's just about three or four stalls for "customer parking" and a disable stall as well.A super cute and cozy place where you're able to gaze out the huge windows or take selfies along some cute backdrop there are still a couple of seating area to relax and "cheers!!" to your cup of tea.Huge menu choices though I've been to their original location countless times I still get thrown off with my cravings but really ended up with my usual favorites "Winter Melon Tea and Matcha! Matcha!" both with boba because of course it was "National Tapioca Day!!"Matcha! Matcha! was a nice simple drink and the matcha was definitely there and my Winter Melon is just classic for me the lightness with a touch of nutty/roasted touch just gonna make my summer that much more bearable!The staff here is just a delight answered questions I wasn't sure what type of tea/fruits that was in it and breezed all questions and though I didn't get any Fortune Tea discounts I did get an interesting quotes..."Someone is looking up to you. Don't let that person down" and "You will find love very shortly" and well I did find love in these drinks and celebrated National Tapioca Day!Thank you!

Like their downtown (Pali) store, this one does not fail. The staff is always friendly and sweet. Parking is always plentiful and available behind their building. I get the same thing every time; azuki boba, light ice, no sugar. I always call it in and when I get there, it's all ready for me. Their boba is nice and squishy, and the milk tea is wonderful. I always highly recommend them to friends, family, strangers, and any one who loves boba or smoothies. They never disappoint.

To me this is the best BOBA place I've had since coming to live on Oahu. This place reminds me of a boba place I went frequently In Las Vegas. The drinks are amazing I've tried the Taro Ube boba very delicious. The service is amazing, any questions I have there answered and staff does do recommendations on what is paired well in a boba. The Ambiance is nice and relaxing, so GLAD I work close by so I can go here frequently

Stopped by this cute tea shop today and very happy with the drinks. The Super Fruit Tea is very refreshing The shop is very clean and cute. The staff is very friendly. They have a fortune sticker on your cup adding more fun to your drink! There are two customers parking stalls right when you turn to the driveway next to the Watch Repair shop. Or you can park at the young street and walk over!

Super fresh and delicious. Clean and minimalistic atmosphere inside, and quick service. The boba was good, and I even had some chunks of strawberry in my drink. Will be going back!
