Not as big an event as before, but still a great place to pick up fresh produce and take away something good to eat. For lunch, I always get a salad, sandwich, or wrap from the 1132 Cafe stand. Everything there is super fresh with quality ingredients, and they're popular with downtown office workers. For a wide assortment of baked goods, the large La Tour Bakehouse stand can't be beat. Their sweet and savory products can be found in Upscale supermarkets and restaurants. Today I was happy to get some chocolate chip cookies and a bag of lavosh pieces! La Tour's lavosh is to die for, and the broken pieces may not be picture perfect but are just right for snacking at home. At both the 1132 Cafe and La Tour Bakehouse stands, the people behind the tables are friendly and always give their customers great service. Check out this little open market next time you're down town!

Farmers Market in Downtown Honolulu, Hawaii...I remember that this Farmers Market was busier, more crowded, and filled with vendors a few years ago...Today, 12-23-22, there were about seven vendors: two were produce vendors; two were jewelry; one was plants; and two were tote bags/shirts.Hmmm... I was thinking about the last-minute Christmas shoppers... Because it was kind of empty... Maybe I was too early in the day? Do they all visit on their lunch break?I had parked at Walmart (entrance on Bethel Street). I had two hours of parking with a purchase of $20 or more, so, I thought I'd take a look at this Farmers Market. The fresh produce was sure tempting. However, I resisted and returned to my car with my Walmart purchase! Maybe I'll return if I need some gifts!Note: this Farmers Market is open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 7am to about 1pm.

I have a grand idea for Fort Street Mall. Open a night, street market similar to the ones in Asia. There's so much space with so much potential, and you won't really bother anyone. The open space, Robert Wilcox Park, near Walmart where all the homeless hang around can be such a nice place with the trees, an unused waterfall, and a wide open space for tables to sit and enjoy food. Open evenings. Hire a lot of security with police presence. That's of course if people can get over the idea that Fort Street Mall is dirty, rundown, and filled with questionable individuals around.Anyway, we have the closest thing, a Farmer's Market. Every Tuesday and Friday from 7am to roughly 1pm. It says 2pm, but stalls are ready to leave at that time, if they havenIts located near Bishop St, outside of Walmart and near Ross. It's been the usual vendors lately with two produce stalls, a couple of accessories and trinkets stalls, 1132 Cafe, La Tour Bread, an orchid/succulents plant stall, and Sweet Revenge. The prices at this Farmer's Market are very reasonable. Definitely better than the busier markets. Food for under $10, bread around $5, orchids for $10, succulents just a couple of bucks, and produce similar or even better than Chinatown. If you want the freshest produce, you need to come between 7-8am. If you want discounted food, come between 12-1pm.Overall, a nice Farmers Market for those working and/or living in Downtown who doesn't have time (5 minute walk!) to venture into Chinatown.

Located on Fort Street mall between Ross's & Walmart around 12:00 noon on Tuesday they had an open market going on.They had fresh produce vendors, flowers vendors and homemade gift items. No parking you need to park on the street on in a parking lot or if you are going to Walmart for some items they have parking you just need to purchase about $10.00 from them and you can so and pick up something in the open market.

Former Fort Strert, now Fort Street Mall is the home every Tuesday and Friday of the Fort Street Farmer's Market. Pop up tents shading vendors Hawaiian Chip Comoany, La Tour, Ono Kettle Pop, Ono Kukui , Baker Dudes, Bentos.md and many more. There are flower vendors, local hand made jewelry vendors, vegetable and others. It is a great browsing place during your lunch hour or day off. It is also a great meeting place, you'll be surprised who you may run in to. The vegetable vendors make it easier for the consumer who may not have the time to get to the Chinatown Vegetable merchants. Those who enjoy Baker Dudes and can't make it to Ward Farmers Market or to the Baker Dudes brick and motar shop, then, Fort street is the place for you.Planned right, do your Walmart shopping at the same time. You can park in the Walmart parking structure, make your minimum purchase in Walmart and they will validate your parking ticket. Don't forget to bring your eco bags, packages for your purchase not available with most vendors. IF you forget, don't worry! Harajuku (imitation I think) Eco bags available for purchase.Vendors close at 2pm. Most start to break down stands at 1:45...9/100!Yelp Review Challenge Los Angeles

Every Tuesday and Friday on Fort Street Mall between Hotel and King, you'll find a nice little Farmers' Market. With an array of vendors ranging from produce and flowers, to baked goods, sauces, clothing, and lunch foods, it's a nice place to stroll through and look for something local and yummy. In recent months, many area restaurants have opened stands to sell a limited selection of to-go items and entice you to try the restaurants. The market is always lively and colorful, with lots of fresh items. My only complaint is almost everything is cash-only and with higher prices, so be ready if you plan to shop. The number of vendors ebbs and flows, so keep coming back if you're initially disappointed. It's easy to get to, as you can walk from anywhere in the downtown or Chinatown areas. It also has every major bus line on the mauka and makai sides of the market. With all the other shopping and restaurants on Fort Street, it's a fun place to explore! For tourists: it's a great place to try local items.

A few good produce stands with great prices along with craft stands that have some great products. I haven't seen a stationery stand before until this farmers market! Fort Street is a bit of a weird place but if you keep to the market you'll be fine :)

I've been here only on Tuesdays, but I believe they told me that its every Tuesdays and Fridays. It's located on Fort Street Mall between King Street and Hotel Street (Ross' on one side and Fisher Hawaii/Wal-Mart on the other). There's mostly area restaurants who has stands that sell a selection of goodies. There's two stands that sell vegetables, one that sells plants (and they are beautiful), and couple of them sell bags, trinkets etc. I don't usually carry cash, so I had to run to the bank (which is close by) to get some cash out. So just a reminder...It's a Cash-Only place.
