Was surprised seeing highly rated Taiwanese food in this area, so had to stop by. The beef soup has a good flavor. If you like spicy, the braised broth adds a little bit of a kick-- but imo it mutes the richness of the broth some. Noodles are a little more on the al dente side. The beef had a stronger beefy flavor, was slightly tender, but not the super soft fall apart tenderness I was hoping for. Service was very friendly and proactive, ambiance was great too. Went when the place opened and within 30 min it filled up pretty quick. Fried chicken was pretty solid

Taiwanese cuisine! Sort of expected the noodles to have a bit more flavor. Relatively decently priced entrees. Lots of fresh vegetables, but not as much meat as expected. We tried the beef noodles, and it was very simple and plain. Good amount of indoor seating and great parking. Service was quick and the spot was well lit.

They have a great system. We placed the order online, it said ready for pick up in 15 minutes. We got there in 20, went to the take out window and it was ready. The won ton noodle soup is delicious and the noodles are thick and chewy.

After years of driving past Fooki, we finally decided to give them a try. From the moment we walked in, the experience was great. The staff was warm and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The interior had a trendy yet cozy vibe, perfect for a casual hangout with drinks or a full on feast. The menu was packed with enticing options, many of which were right up my alley. If only my stomach had unlimited capacity! Unfortunately, I had to make some tough choices, but every dish we tried was a hit. What We Ordered:A-MA Rolling Veggies - Absolutely loved this! As a veggie lover, this dish checked all the boxes: hearty, well-balanced, and packed with flavor. The plump, perfectly cooked shimeji mushrooms added a satisfying umami depth, while the cucumbers provided a refreshing crunch, all wrapped in a soft yet crispy scallion pancake. You'd almost forget it was vegetarian!Boom Boom Chicken - A standout dish. The chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned, with fried basil adding a fragrant crunch. Paired with their spicy mayo dipping sauce, each bite was an explosion of flavor. I'd say this is a must try.Cow Wow Beef Noodle (Original) - This dish had a bold yet soothing broth, with flavors reminiscent of pho, but with its own unique twist. The deep, rich broth had subtle mushroom undertones and was topped with fresh cilantro for an aromatic finish. My wife, who is usually sensitive to cilantro in hot broth, still found this enjoyable. The noodles were lovely, like a thinner version of udon. One thing we both agreed on tho, was the beef could have been a bit more tender.Fooki Belly Bowl - My son gave this a solid 5 stars haha! The pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a beautiful balance of five-spice, soy, and a touch of sweetness. It was on the fatty side, as expected, but if you're a pork belly fan, this dish is a must try. There are still so many items on the menu we're eager to try, and we'll definitely be back to do so. If you're in the Aiea area and looking for delicious Taiwanese food in a welcoming setting, Fooki is well worth a visit!Enjoy! :)

Went on a weekday during lunch and it wasn't too busy. The service was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the minced pork noodles, boom boom chicken, and the Fooki potstickers. The noodles is a good portion to share between 2 people and the chicken could be shared with 3-4. All of the dishes were very delicious and flavorful without overpowering each other. The price points for the dishes were also reasonable. And can't forget their drink options! I got the wintermelon iced tea, always a goodie and super refreshing. Definitely coming back to try the other noodle dishes and drinks.

Celebrated Lunar New Year here, so it's only right to update my review--especially since I've tried some new dishes that I need to rave about.I've dined in a few times now and love the ambiance. It's got a cool, modern vibe that makes it a great spot for a casual dinner or a fun date night. Pro tip: If there's a wait, scan the QR code outside to join the list. They'll text you when your table is ready, and you can even check your place in line. From now on, I'm ALWAYS ordering the Boom Boom Chicken. Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The sauce? That perfect tangy kick that had me wiping the sauce clean. The Mala Wonton Noodle was my boyfriend's lunar new year pick. Those shrimp and pork wontons are delicious but definitely require some chopstick finesse--no shame in the spoon scoop game! The noodles? Absolute perfection--chewy and bouncy! Next time, I'm adding black vinegar for an extra layer of flavor. And I still stand by my previous picks:Grandpa Rolling Beef - Tender braised beef shanks, crisp cucumber, and cabbage wrapped in a flaky scallion pancake, all drizzled with sake hoisin sauce and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.Mala Wonton - A plateful of shrimp, pork, and water chestnut wontons with crunchy taro chips and cabbage, drenched in that addicting Fooki mala sauce & chili oil combo.Seafood Laksa - A rich, creamy curry coconut broth with wheat noodles, fish fillet, mussels, and a Fooki shrimp cake, brightened up with lime, mint, and kaffir lime.

Never had jajang noodles so I decided to try. It was delicious with the fresh vegetables and sauce on the noodles. It doesn't come with a huge bowl but was still worth it. I will say I wish there were more spice on the noodles because it seemed to be lacking some. The table agreed some other dishes were lacking a bit of spice. Next time I might get chili flakes on the side. The dessert was great. I got the tofu pudding and it reminds me of Taho, one of my favorite Filipino desserts! The honey toast is delicious and has scoops of icecream on top, I would get again. Overall I would return here again!

We came for lunch on a Tuesday and it was still a full house. We got lucky that a table cleared a little after we got there. The place is pretty clean but a little crammed with tables but still comfortably spacious if that makes sense. We sat down and they brought us our waters and menu real quick. This wasn't our first rodeo here so we ordered "light" because we ended up with so much leftovers the first time we were here...like that's a problem. We order the Monster Pork Chop Plate $20 -- Deep-fried pork chop, egg, sweet chill aioli with rice, bok choy, and egg topped with crispy shallots. This has to be one if not THE best pork chop we've ever had. It comes with two chips and enough rice for my husband and me to share. We also got an Ala carte order of the Boom Boom Chicken for $15 with fried basil on top. Okay, let me tell you about this chicken, it's like popcorn chicken on steroids so good. Trust and get it. Ask for the sweet chili aioli and mama's house chili sauce if you can take the heat. The last thing we ordered were the Mala Wontons for $14 in their mala sauce and bean sprouts. The dumplings were dense with meat, and not in a bad way. The food was just all SO good! Try it and thank us all later you did.** The service was fast! Food came out fast and water was always filled. When you pay, keep in mind they do have a 3% surcharge if you pay with card.

First time here and was recommended by my niece who lives more west side and I live in town. Ample parking anywhere in the area and the parking spaces are wide. Food was tasty and came out pretty quick. I had the fried chicken, there was a pork chop, and ribs order as well. It was nice to be served on plates as a lot of restaurants are serving in plastic containers. The server was slow as far as filling up our water, but she was very busy. The inside is cute with some mural paintings on the walls. I wish they served coffee (Americano or drip). We had an early lunch, they open at 11:30, so caffeine would've been nice lol.
