Five Star Poke

Went here on my first and last day in Hawaii. Had the ginger scallion miso ahi poke, garlic shoyu ahi poke, and the garlic shoyu salmon. I'd say top 3 on the island in fish quality and sauces, overall 2nd best on the island. Seating is just outside with no parking, but you cab park your mopeds/bikes on the sidewalk

Poke from a truck in Hawaii? Yeah I'm game. Walked from the hotel to this cute little food truck square one night for dinner. Out of all the options, Five Star Poke looked the most interesting. We might've been early for dinner? They were still cooking rice (might have just ran out of the last batch) and asked if we were okay to wait.They have many flavors of poke-- staff is friendly and even walked us through all the options so we could make the best decision. We ended up getting both salmon and tuna. They even gave us a free drink on the house for the wait. Poke was absolutely delicious. The fish was fresh, fish to rice ratio was 5/5, and portion size was healthy.Would come here again for poke when we're on the island.

Very tasty fish and sauce/marinade combos, not overpowering with great flavors. Friendly service that recommended good optionsHad the Original, Spicy Mayo, Yuzu Citrus, and Ginger Miso and all were great. Note - just be careful about the little birds loitering about! They tried to get the food right out of my plate while I was still eating!

Large combo poke , the spicy mayo salmon and the yuzu ahi tuna it was DELICIOUS! Super fresh I will definitely have to go back again before we leave! The girl that helped was super nice and the little food truck set up is cute.

This was so good I've never had poke this good, the right portions, very filling and flavorful, wonderful customer service. I could eat this everyday. I ate it for 3 straight days after finding out about it.

This food truck is in a little corner tucked away with a couple other food trucks, and it offers a motley of fish selections for your poke bowl. I got the combo with spicy mayo tuna and garlic seared salmon and fell completely in love with the latter. The service is fast and the seared salmon is exceptional. I'd say the ginger lemonade is way more ginger than lemonade though (ie not very sweet).

Delicious, lowkey poke spot in Waikiki.$16.95 for two flavors of poke. I ordered the yuzu citrus chili pepper ahi and the spicy mayo ahi. Tastes so fresh and yummy.10/10 recommend!

Food: I got the 2 choice combo with ginger scallion miso salmon and yuzu citrus chili pepper ahi poke. The salmon was great with the ginger scallion sauce. Reminds me of cold ginger chicken. The ahi was unique with a nice hint of spice, but the quality could've been better. I like that there's sauce options that you don't normally see at other poke places.Price: The poke bowls are pretty pricey considering how much you get and the quality of the fish, but the unique options are definitely a plus.Service: The lady taking orders was nice and I didn't have to wait too long to get my food.Ambiance: I like how the lot has a bunch of food trucks with tables to eat at.

I can see why this place is called Five Star Poke Cause it really is five stars. Got the Combo with 2 proteins: garlic shoyu seared salmon which is slightly cooked and the yuzu chili pepper ahi which was kind of spicy but delicious. Both poles was packed with so much flavor. Loved the crispy garlic pieces on top but each bite was so yummy! Rice was perfectly cooked and it comes with seaweed salad. Green tea was ok, very basic but refreshing. The place is close to the Waikiki shopping area so it wasn't hard to find. My husband put the poke on top of the Ono shrimp chips which was so good. Definitely a place to try when you're here in Hawaii. Service was great, food came out quickly and the owners were so sweet and friendly.
