Definitely da best on Oahu! I've been eagerly waiting to try Fin's Bagel, and it totally lived up to the hype! Bagels and coffee were always my go-to breakfast, and now there's a spot in Kapahulu serving the best New York-style bagels on Oahu! The hand-rolled, kettle-boiled bagels are perfectly chewy, and the sandwiches are packed with fresh veggies and sustainably-sourced fish. I also tried their matcha--so refreshing! The service is fantastic, and the ambience is super chill. Huge portions, full of flavor--this place is a must-try! Can't wait to go back again!

I never knew I needed an Asiago bagel with brisket in my life until I tried it here! The bagel was perfectly toasted with just the right amount of cheesy goodness on top, and the brisket? Oh, the brisket was tender, juicy, and full of smoky flavor. As well as the service was very welcoming and expedient!

Craving for a salmon bagel I told my wife let's try Fin's since my favorite bagel shop closed. She ordered the FinsBagel with Salmon to share. You have other fillings such as Mahi, Ahi or smoke fish. While writing this review I was trying to remember how the bagel I had in New York was like. Well in my opinion this bagel was close to what I remembered. The bagel tasted like what I remembered. The bagel seamed a bit tougher then I remembered. Taste was good . The service was good and friendly. Got lucky with parking. The do have three stalls in front. Also have three, small tables in front. On the negative side was the price. $18 was a bit steap. Enjoy

Fin's Bagels is a small bagel shop off Kapahulu just outside Waikiki. Parking is tight as there are only 3 stalls out front. The shop itself is small with only the counter for ordering and a couple cold cases with various spreads and dried fish they sell. Apparently also day old bagels sold by the dozen for $5 less than the regular amount, but there were none when i went. There is outside seating tho it is limited as there are only 2 small tables that seat 4 each and 2 tables that seat 2 each. They have an ok assortment of bagels. When we were there they had, plain, everything, cinnamon raisin, bluebery and asiago bagels. Bagels are $3.25 each and a dozen bagels are $35.75 (essentially buy 11 get one free). My wife ordered a Rise N Shine bagel sandwhich - $12.95 (bacon, spam or sausage wth 2 over medium (or scrambled) eggs, and cheddar cheese) on an everything bagel. I just ordered an everything bagel with jalapeno cream cheese....for a whopping $7.95. So if we do the math...7.85 minus the cost of the bagel (3.25) they're charging $4.70 for CREAM CHEESE. Now ok, they don't charge extra for the specialty cream cheeses (except for the Lox one which is an extra $2...so $6.70 for that cream cheese), but this is still absurd. They do put a decent amount of cream cheese but honestly, cream cheese should not be more than $1-2 dollars extra. Especially considering I can go to Safeway across the street and buy a whole brick of cream cheese for $6 (at the time of this review). But absurd prices aside...the food was...ok. My wife's breakfast sandwhich tasted ok, but we agreed it would have been better with cream cheese instead of cheddar cheese. The jalapeno cream cheese on mine was...fine? Maybe it was the batch that day, but the jalapenos were way more sweet than spicy. Tasted more like bell peppers instead of jalapenos despite that indisinguishable jalapeno flavor..again, minus the heat. The everything bagels we got were toasted nicely and had a nice chew to them (as all good bagels should). Sadly their version of an "Everything" bagel was just garlic, sesame seeds, and poppy seeds. No salt, no onion, Definitely lacking in the flavor department. The clear winner was a drink i didnt even mention yet. After ordering, the guy behind the counter gave us a sample of the nitro thai tea. Upon tasting it, i immediately got back in line and purchased one ($7.95). It was cold, smooth and delicious.Would I go back here? Maybe. Maybe just to try one of theur overpriced sandwhiches. But if im in the mood for a bagel, I'm gonna stick to Tali's at Ward. Still overpriced (tho slightly cheaper), but they actually put salt and onion on their everything bagels, its closer to home, and parking is a lot easier.

Perhaps the best bagel in Oahu - I haven't tried other bagel shops on the island, but I trust the people's opinion on it. But the best on the island is still just ok, the bagel is ok and the cream cheeses aren't that great. I've tried 3-4 different ones now and my opinion hasn't shifted. Parking is a pain, line is short, wait after you order is long.

I randomly walked past Fin's Bagels one morning and now it's become one of my favorite breakfast spots! the service is always so great - the workers are incredibly friendly and will help you if you have any questions. They even let you sample the cream cheese spreads before you order! We got the Blue Hawaii, Sesame Bagel with the Tobiko Limu, and the Kiawe Smoked Brisket, which were all super hefty and delicious. I loved the blueberry bagel that came with the Blue Hawaii, and i loved how fluffy the bagels were without being dry like most other places. There's a few tables outside, and a really limited amount of parking stalls right outside the shop, but you can always try your luck with street parking around the area!

Hi guys, this is the worst place in the planet for the service and hygiene. The place is dirty from the inside and outside. You will get your bagel seasoning with fly feet because they jumping around on them bagels . The price is so expensive for a bagel. The people works there are sloppy, unprofessional, and rude to the customer. The bagel will take 30 to 40 min to get your order what a joke. Parking is bad just two spots. In the end do not go and don't try because is not worth it.

I ventured into Fin's Bagels early one morning, intrigued by their claim of flying in dough from New York City to craft authentic bagels locally every day. As a connoisseur of the quintessential New York bagel experience, my expectations were cautiously optimistic. I opted for Finn's special salmon bagel, hoping for a culinary flashback to the likes of Russ & Daughters. While the bagel itself was decent, it didn't leave a lasting impression. The balance of ingredients was off for my taste; the tomato overwhelmed the salmon, which is a cardinal sin in any establishment claiming New York bagel fidelity. Additionally, the capers lacked the punchy saltiness I anticipated, which left the overall flavor profile somewhat wanting. The shop was bustling, suggesting local popularity or curiosity about this new spot. Despite my initial letdown, I'm considering giving Fin's Bagels another try or two to fully assess their range and consistency. For those seeking a bagel that could rival the storied offerings of NYC, temper expectations--Fin's may not quite be there yet. However, for a solid bagel in the area, it might just hit the spot after some menu exploration.

Fin's is a newcomer on the bagel scene but I think they do it right. I stopped by on a Saturday at 11 which was pretty much prime time for them. It was about a half an hour wait overall, but I think it was worth it.I chose the Fin's bagel with smoked salmon, which is pretty much a classic lox bagel with cream cheese, tomato, onion, capers, etc. I subbed out the regular cream cheese for their roasted garlic flavor, which I highly recommend. This was a hefty sandwich but all the flavors worked well together. I just wish there was a way to eat it without all the ingredients sliding out because of the cream cheese. Haha.I also got another bagel with the banana caramel cream cheese cause I had to try it. This one was amazing as a sweet treat for dessert. I love their creative spin on cream cheese flavors.Since we were waiting for our order inside, I got to see how they run the bagel line. I will say it was a bit disorganized when it came to tracking which bagels were grouped together for an order. I had to keep track of our bagels to make sure they didn't get mixed up.

Heard a lot of good things about this place and they're ALL TRUE! Had a little trouble finding parking as they only have a couple of spaces in the front but don't let that stop you (we parked on a side street on the Ewa side of Kapahulu Ave). I got a plain bagel with bacon and eggs, and my friend got a lox and cream cheese with the works (capers, onions, everything packed full) which were SO tasty. But the bagels are the kind you can get in NYC; crispy on the outside, fully chewy on the inside. Heaven! We found a seat outside and it was a great and delicious experience.
