i came for the garlic chicken: the food was initially yummy but upon further thought and after a full day of slight nausea and a bad visit to the bathroom, im convinced that the quality of the food was not good and cannot suggest.the rice was super mushy, chicken was dry. service was also lowkey rude.

Got hungry on my roadtrip so we stopped here! Wanted something local, fast and small. Opted for Fatboy's bento and it was right on point! Good service, nice little spot compared to other places in the area great value and good portion!

Very small place - ordered 4 bentos and wait about 20+ minutes. We did enjoy our warrior plate the most.

Parking is hit or miss due to competing venues but there's a huge lot at Target within walking distance so we parked there. Always a line but moves relatively smooth. I had the Gaelic chicken, teriyaki beef combo and some katsu chicken too. The garlic chicken is really good but I got a lot of fried crisp that lacked meat on some parts. The beef flavor was unique and compliments the rice but quite salty. The plates come with rice and mac salad but even eating that didn't completely fill me up and I got the regular, not the mini. I'll be back to try some more food because although, it wasn't filling, it was tasty.

I lived here 8 years ago. Coming back to visit this was the once place I knew I needed to come back to. The garlic chicken is as good as ever, and the Mac salad and rice just complete its perfectness. Thanks for the smiles from the staff when we entered, and such a relaxing outside space to eat! Keep it up y'all, best in town!

I'm gonna start giving these places the reviews I think they deserve. You've LOST YOUR TOUCH. I use to love coming here but now it's a waste of money and time. In my opinion there's nothing they can do to improve at this point. Food has no FLAVOR. Prices are ridiculous and sad to the local people. 2.29 for a can of Hawaiian sun juice...$6 for garlic tots that's not even crispy and should be made to order but still they come out as if they were sitting there all day. I always loved the hamburger steak here cuz it's all homemade patties now barely any flavor say it with me SEASONING. The gravy tasted bland the worse I've ever had. Just don't waste your time coming here. You'll only be disappointed. Oh and if you love MUSHY ASS RICE this is the spot for you. For me it ruins my entire MEAL. Doesn't deserve a star at all.

Called in an order for garlic chicken and fried saimin. Pikup was in an hour or so.. Both were small orders. I figured according to the pics on their yelp page it be like 30 sum bucks each. Total was 105 dollars! Dayum inflation is f'real! Upon getting to the party less than a mile away. Chicken was already soggy and pretty crappy tasting. Im not sure if they changed the recipe but its not the same as when they first opened. The next dish... Fried Saimin.‍ who the heck maked fried noodles with instant saimin? Wtf???? This was the crappiest fried saimin ever! And it was fifty bucks! Fat boys is just out in my books.

Not many parking spots outside. They do have a bathroom tho but you have to ask for the key. Hole in the wall interior. You order and then sit outside. No indoor seating. Food was quick. Didn't get much meat on my plate. Gravy was delicious. But most of the food was all rice. Plate was 13.60$. Nothing amazing. I could find this back in the bay.

Got the breakfast bento this morning... Garlic chicken, good, nice flavor. Spam and portuguese sausage were standard. Mahi was fine, wasn't furikake but still good. Opted for the fried rice wasn't a huge fan of the upgrade there. Overall, FILLING breakfast for under $12. Could have saved some for later as well.

I did the My Pick2 and got garlic chicken and fried fish. It's a ton of food for $14.99 with two scoops of rice and mac salad to boot. The garlic chicken is the way to go here. It was flavorful, crisp and well cooked. The fried fish was nothing to write home about, and I wished the mac salad had more flavor or acid. Tasted like macaroni and mayonnaise were the only two ingredients. There is a outdoor patio with several tables but no inside seating. It was mostly couples getting a quick bite for lunch. Fat boys is just across the street from Times pharmacy.
