Fast Stop Nanakuli

I pass this gas station at least 2x day and never stopped but today I'm glad I did! The food in here is amazing! We got some fried chicken skin and fried chicken! The crunch on the skin is soooo crunchy! We also got some pork adobo which for me wasn't bad but not what I'm used to. It was on the sweeter side. But I'm finally happy to say that I actually stopped to try this hidden gem.

All I have to say is for "gas station" food, they are the best hands down!! Adobo is my all time fave. Beef stew & fried chicken also got action! Definitely a "hidden gem" on the west side!

This morning I stopped at Fast Stop to buy gas. As I entered I saw a man with his pants down unconscious on the sidewalk, outside of the store. Another man was aggressively asking for money inside and outside of the store. I asked the cashier if she was aware there was a man unconscious outside of their establishment and the other person asking for money. She said yes and that she couldn't do anything. I asked her to call the police and an ambulance and she refused. She said the police won't do anything, they take hours to arrive and even if they do remove the vagrants, they just come back. I told her I had children in the car that didn't need to see this. I asked her to call the police again and she said she can't do anything. I went out and took a picture of this man and showed it to her, on my third attempt. And she said there's nothing I can do. I left went to town and came back through Nanakuli 2 hours later and both of them were still there. The man was still unconscious. I went to the police station and showed them the picture and the Officer immediately called for assistance to go to Fast Stop. So this Fast Stop is grossly negligent for not only the health and welfare of their paying customers they allow vagrants to harass their customers as well as allow indecent exposure of body parts for their customers, to be subjected too. I will never return and hope after you all read this, you as well will not spend your money here. Clean up your protocol Fast Stop!!! Customers first!! We pay your bills!!

Stopped by for gas and left with happy bellies. They had crispy chicken skin here. We had it with white rice. We just had breakfast 2hrs prior but couldn't resist. Come hungry when you get gas here

It's a hit or miss on the friendliness or helpfulness of the employees there. The outside looks dingy and since it's close the beah sometimes...smelly. BUT, the food here is GOOD! Their fried chicken can be in the same category as any chicken franchise. They have multiple meals to chose from. Local kine meals at that. Who would have thought you'd find good tasting food and plate lunches at a Fast Stop in Nanakuli, I sure didn't but am pleasantly surprised. You'll be so happy with the quality of food that you can't help but strike up ethusiastic conversations with the employees that you'll see them crack a smile. Well worth it.

Fast Stop has one of Da best Kalua Pig plates on the island ,and if you don't believe ne TRY IT NROKE DA MOUTH then sheshe Nainai bed time.
