Summary. So far, so good. Background. I have friends whom I call "Ketomaniacs." Running out of holiday gift ideas, I considered Omaha Steaks. But who knows what condition their products would be in, even if they shipped here, as if. Decided to look for local sources of quality meats. That's how I found Farm Link. Farm Link needs more or better publicity. Never heard of them. They are on file with DCCA. Although a little concerned about how legit this business was, decided to go for it. Christmas was looming. Surprised at how vast and varied their selection of local consumables is, from produce to meats to beverages, and more. You could easily throw a pa'ina using only their products. I'm a big supporter of local sustainability. Doesn't take much to disrupt the supply chain. Suggested that fruit trees replace decorative trees removed from our condo property, without success. Short sighted. Because Farm Link delivery was scheduled two days before Christmas, sweated a bit when nothing was heard from my friends about receiving their order. Although it was after hours, was able to chat online with Farm Link and found out they were running a bit late. My friend said the delivery was late because of holiday traffic. They were impressed with the drivers who were organic farmers helping out. My friends were very pleased with the foods they received, said everything was delicious. They plan to place orders for themselves. Next holiday or birthday, i'm no longer at a loss for gift ideas! Unsure how their prices and product quality compare with supermarkets, but Farm Link does support local farmers and good quality is often not cheap. For those who have the means, there is an option to purchase a $32 donation box of produce for folks in need. I like that. Order before 10 pm for delivery the next day. Or pick up at the Stage Cafe at Inspiration, a few blocks from Ala Moana Center, or Farm Link Food Hub in Kalihi, 743 Waiakamilo Rd Urban Honolulu, HI 96817. Comments: Not easy to find the Kalihi street address on the Farm Link website. Got it from Yelp. Hope it's right. Navigating the checkout page could be clearer, particularly adding more items. Had to guess which icon to click. Not much of a cook or big meat eater myself, but just ordered some baked goods from them. During COVID, the same friend blessed me with delicious homemade sourdough bread. Haven't been able to find anything as good. Will comment further if anything changes.

If you're looking to support local Hawaiian farmers and small businesses AND want delicious, fresh groceries/produce delivered to you, check out FarmLink Hawaii! I looked at a few local produce CSA shares before I stumbled across FarmLink. I had heard stories about receiving 5 pounds of daikon from pre-selected seasonal CSA boxes and wanted the ability to customize a box if I wanted to, depending on what I was cooking that week. FarmLink offers the best of both worlds- you can customize any order up to 8pm the night before, save $$ by picking pre-selected seasonal boxes of fruit/veggies for a slightly cheaper price, but also add whatever a la cart items you want to your order. If you spend $80, the delivery fee is waived (normally $7 per order). Pick ups are always free and they have lots of locations. You can also set up recurring deliveries and put them on hold. You order online through their very easy to use website, which features tons of produce, groceries, prepared foods, desserts, snacks, and pantry staples. They also have a sale section and a seasonal section so you can get better deals. The day of delivery, you get a text message with a link to track exactly where your order is, and a reminder text when your order is 2 stops away. It was all so easy to use and my box arrived fresh and cold. I ordered one seasonal veggie share, one seasonal fruit share, a head of Manoa lettuce, organic cilantro, a large specialty papaya, and two pono pies (specialty pies from Maui made of breadfruit) for a little less than $90. The veggie share included: a bunch of organic carrots with tops, a large bag of mixed salad greens, a smaller bag of clover microgreens, 2 large heads of green lettuce, a pound of small cucumbers, and 6-7 large avocadoes. The fruit share included: 3 medium papayas, a pound of ripe strawberries (all perfect and fresh, no mold!), 1-2 lbs of apple bananas, and 1 large pineapple. All the produce is extremely fresh and healthy. $80 / week of fresh produce/veggies is definitely enough to feed 2 people, with a few supplements from the farmers market or local grocery store. Can't wait to see what other delicious fresh foods FarmLink delivers!

Ever wonder where the local restaurants get those tasty items and garnishes they use to make those tasty and beautiful dishes we order in their restaurants? Look at the items on this business. From the fresh flowers and micro greens to the meat, fish and pork, baked goods, local tortillas, dairy, eggs, even prepared foods like kimchi and pickled onions, poi and that Ulu hummus.I was gifted a Mothers Day "build your own" Charcuterie basket from Farm Link. The beauty of this business is it's all locally sourced so support local save time and check them out.

I've been an avid shopper of farm link Hawaii for over a year. I LOVE that I'm supporting our local businesses and getting my groceries at the same time. The ease: What I usually do is pull out my phone and log in. I add the produce, fruit, dairy, bread, pasta, and whatever else catches my eye. And that's it! They deliver it on the day I choose! The variety: Not only can you get fruits and vegetables, you can get meat (the steak is TO DIE FOR), eggs, dairy, pies, fresh baked bread, and more. There really is too much to name. Just go to the site farmlinkhawaii.com. I don't want to write a novel. The stuff you won't find at local groceries: What I love is they have different kinds of stuff. You won't just find the typical greens. I have gotten rambutan, longan, lychee, ice cream banana, keitt mangoes, breadfruit (ulu), starfruit, and more. If you love to cook, you'll love the fresh herbs! Produce lasts longer: Don't you hate it when you buy fruit and veggies, and in 2 days, they are gross? Well, THAT is the main reason I started buying local. They last a lot longer, they taste better, and sometimes they are BIGGER! The cost: Guess what, the price is comparable of not cheaper to local grocery stores. My faves: kulolo (so evil and yummy)Macadamia nut cooking oil (I tried it, loved it)Frisee ( fave salad green, it makes it fancy!) Breadfruit (reminds me of hom)Michel Gros banana and Ice cream banana (this is bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S) Overall, I haven't had a bad experience getting groceries from here. I love that I'm supporting local, and enjoying local products. I love that my fruits and veggies last longer. The concept of am online LOCAL farmer grocery is genius!

Our family is so excited about becoming Farm Link members. Accessing fresh local food can be a challenge, especially with kids, especially in Hawaii where everything is so expensive. Farm Link makes it so much easier for families like us. They literally deliver it to our door! The online store is super convenient, they accept EBT, & they participate in da bux program stretching our dollars even more, AND delivery is free for those with EBT. It sounds too good to be true! But it's not! We look forward to our deliveries, and the kids have fun pulling everything out of the box. We are so thankful and feel so blessed. This is what supporting local should be.

Got our first batch of vegetables from Farm LInk Hawaii today and was pleasantly surprised. Vegetables were fresh, good looking and chilled in a cardboard box waiting for pickup. Choy sum came in big healthy bunches, eggplant were big and healthy too, as were the bell peppers. We were very happy with this place, and felt that their prices were right in line with the prices at the supermarket. We will definitely be shopping there again.

When the pandemic shut us down last year, I was trying to find ways to support local industry. Farm Link gave me the perfect opportunity--not only do I get farm-fresh produce, delivered to my door, I am purchasing directly from the producers. The prices are a bit higher than the grocery store but the goods are always great and I am happy to give my money directly to our local businesses. About 90% of my produce comes from Farm Link every week! Love it!

I love the convenience and variety but I wish I could find an affordable farmers market on Oahu. I just spent a month in Hilo and was getting ripe avocado's and papayas for a buck a piece. Can't spend 3-4 bucks on a papaya every morning for breakfast. Rarely use because of price.

I ordered some oatcakes for a friend on the mainland and had it delivered to my working place, how convenient. I was checking out the website and found rhubarb which I love and is hard to find. I didn't order it though because it wasn't enough for free delivery or shipping. When I looked at the website other than produce everything was super expensive.
