Haven't been here for a couple of months and came by for lunch with my sister. This is her first time eating here and was not disappointed. We were the only ones dining in, we came very early around 10am for lunch. Restrooms are very clean! After browsing the menu for what seemed like forever, we finally ordered the okinawa roll, crispy gaugee(my fave! so crispy and good), salmon skin roll, and snow crunch roll. The server got one of our orders wrong and mistaken the snow crunch roll I wanted for a crunch roll. But the sushi chef was super nice about it and apologized for it and remade the roll. It was my first time having the snow crunch roll and it was pretty good, I enjoyed the salmon in the top and crunchy tempura inside. Would definitely order than again or try out a new roll the menu. By far one of my top 3 best sushi spots to go to for taste, quality and price.

As one of many dedicated Far East Chop Suey patrons, I was overjoyed that the new owners kept a lot of my families favorite dishes that are near and dear to our hearts. For 38 years, their dishes were consistent in flavor and portion received. In 38 years they've NEVER disappointed. The new owners have successfully invested in updating and improving the ambiance of the previously dated interior. Their service was welcoming and friendly, and even carried my large order to my car for me which was very much appreciated. After spending 2 exhausting hours in traffic after work, I was willing to foot the $200 bill on take out dinner to save myself additional misery cooking. I ordered soft gau gee mein, shrimp in lobster sauce, kau yuk, lemon chicken, pork hash, pan fried squid, shrimp canton, and char siu fuyong. Lemon chicken and shrimp canton was tasteless since they did not provide enough lemon and sweet sour sauce for 2 orders of each. Shrimp in lobster sauce was THE worst. Small pieces of chopped shrimp, ground pork, and egg whites in a soup that tasted like water. Kau yuk had no taste but looked promising with its vibrant red food coloring. Pan fried squid, same. Pork hash was dry, hard, and really salty. Char siu fuyong was saturated in oil, smelled like burned char siu, and had way too much bean sprouts.I'm so sorry Far East Sushi & Seafood. We tried to give you a chance. Your restaurant looks great and your service is friendly, but your Chinese food is extremely lacking. Our search for a Chinese restaurant with dated interior that puts out great food continues.

Decided to try the second closest sushi spot to home and it wasn't too bad. I was half expecting to wait for our order for quite some time being that it was a Friday night, but ordering online was efficient and our order was ready quickly. I really enjoyed seeing a bit of fusion in this spot so we ordered nigiri, maki rolls and Chinese appetizers along with a vegetable side dish. It was a bit on the pricey side but overall everything tasted delicious and was very fresh. I ordered pickup as usual which was quick and easy.

Portioning is great, very happy with the meal that we decided. Highly recommend the yang chow fried rice, good variety of flavoring. Would come again to try their other dishes. Seating and interior of the store is nice too. Well serviced.

Takeout lunch in Waipahu, Oahu, Hawaii...I actually wanted to patronize Korea Foody at Waipahu Shopping Plaza, but they were closed for vacation. Luckily, Far East Sushi & Seafood Restaurant was right next door. When I walked into the empty restaurant, I was a bit worried, but I read Gabriel P.'s review and I felt better. At least I knew someone who had been here before! The interior is very spacious and clean! I really liked the cute decor: especially the hanging lobsters and the colorful upside-down umbrellas... suspended above... The cashier pointed out the takeout menu a coupleoftimes, but I continued to take photos of the extensive menu. I finally decided to get Lunch Plate B: fried rice, gau gee, pot roast pork, sweet sour spare ribs, shrimp canton (2 pieces), fried wonton (3 pieces), and beef with vegetables. It was really filling!I'm glad that the fried items were placed separately in a brown paper bag to prevent mushiness. I don't really like deep-fried food, so these were "just ok" to me. The pot roast pork was bright red (old school style) and on the tough (hard) side. The sweet sour spare ribs were surprisingly tender and tasty! The fried rice was on the bland side. The beef with vegetables was my favorite. I guess I would return to try the sushi items.

We love this place. Food is delicious and they have a fusion of Japanese, Chinese and Cajun. Service is great and servers are attentive. Food comes out fast. The ambiance is ok, not as cozy but it works

Since they redid the restaurant and it's under new management the food has not been the same. The charsui fried rice is like shoyu, oil and rice with really nothing else in it. Its awful. The Chinese food used to be really good, but not now. I need to find another Chinese go to restaurant.

Decided to give this a try because my cousin and I wanted to have sushi. These new owners definitely gave this place a nice make over. It's pretty cute and even have their own sushi bar. Unfortunately they do not have sushi on Mondays. But we ordered other things and it was all pretty good. Our favorite is the spicy shrimp. They do not have alcohol service here but you can BYOB. Reason why it is a four star is because there is no communication that there is no sushi on Mondays and the worker did not check on us.

Three for lunch. My wife's bestie works in the area. The three of us wanted to try offerings at the new restaurant. FAR East Sushi and Seafood. The restaurant offers a mixture of food from different cultures. Chinese, Japanese, and Cajun. We ordered Chinese today, so we could compare it with Far East Chop Suey. My wife and bestie ordered lunch plate B ,and I had plate A. We all enjoyed our choices. The potions were good. The ambiance is fresh and clean. Murals on the walls and ceiling gave the place a happy feel. The sushi chef came to our table with a free l sample of the seafood bread. This was really good ( seafood on a toasted roll). The server came over and asked us if the food met our expectations. also, if we had any suggestions on how they could improve. We gave them our honest opinion and thanked them. Enjoy.

My family comes here often for dinner. Food is good and the service is great. The food comes out pretty quickly too. They are more than willing to accommodate large parties and that's a big plus for us. Our favorite dishes are the spicy fish (not too spicy, just flavorful!), walnut shrimp, charsiu pork, lechon, and the buns. (Not all pictured) The soups are good too, very light. Ricky is the best! He always welcomes us and provides excelllent service. Sometimes it seems like there is only one server but they still do a great job, so try to be patient.
