Family Grocery Store

Shopping in Kaneohe, Oahu, Hawaii...I've heard good things about Family Grocery Store and finally got a chance to check them out!Located in the same building with Chi-Chan's Okazuya and Valentine's Nails and Spa (on the ground level), Family Grocery Store is packed with merchandise!There's all kinds of local snacks like li hing mui and mochi crunch (arare). They even have candy (such as Snickers) and Chinese soup ingredients (example: white fungus).I got some salted duck eggs and pickled mustard cabbage. I'll give them to my mom to prepare... LOL! Gotta keep her busy and useful, right?I need to return for the Chinese pretzels... and more seedless licorice olives! Hee hee!

Always the place to go on the windward side for your crack seed and snacks . Super nice family rubbed business. Must buy!!! Jumbo Extra Sweet Li Hing Mui

This is my go to place to buy ingredients to make jai. Hate going to Chinatown so this is a nice neighborhood alternative. The owners are always nice and pleasant! Also love their crack seed variety!

I visit this store (close to where I live) whenever I want Chinese pretzels. I don't know if they make them or if they're the wholesale entity...all I know is that there's is the brand that I see at stores.I love their Chinese pretzels!

Sorry in my check in I posted wrong place. This small grocery store sell seeds and other small snacks. Not the food spinach salad. They also sell cigarettes which I think is cheap but since I don't smoke don't quote me on that. I always come here for their seeds like dry sweet lemon peel and their coconut candy

Came across this store on Instagram and was pleasantly surprised when we browsed the store! Crack seed and snack galore. If you like lemon peel candies, check out this shop!Picked up a basket of lemon peel goodies, and li hing snacks. My dad finished an entire bag of candies right when I brought it home. They also have Chinese snacks available and a bunch of cold drinks. Minimum on cards is $10, they have a parking lot right in front of the store

Hey gang! It's almost Chinese New Year, and if you're wondering where to get the best crispy Chinese Pretzels, head to the windward side to Family Grocery Store located in the heart of Kaneohe town! I only started coming here because I heard the Crispy Chinese Pretzels that you see at Long's is made (or distributed) by this store, so I wanted to go straight to the source to see what it's about. It's a small grocery store in Kaneohe Town, owned/operated by a Chinese couple. I try to buy pretzels from here instead of at Longs because the price is lower, and I'm supporting a small business. If you're planning to buy a lot of bags, call ahead to make sure they have them in stock. Their lemon peel gummy bears are delicious too! They also have Asian groceries and a nice selection of crackseed.Closed on Sundays.

Great convenient place in Kaneohe off Kamehameha highway to get Chinese snacks, candy, seeds, chinese pretzels, and also Chinese medicines in Kaneohe . It will cost more than Chinatown but the convenience outweighs the savings. Small but adequate parking lot. They sell their chinese pretzels at places like Longs Drugs CVS and Foodland but you can get them fresh here.
