Our family is so fortunate and blessed to have found this school! We desired a school that was not just a "daycare" but one that would challenge our son and continue to foster his growth intellectually as well as be faith based. Our child has excelled and fluorished not only in academics but also socially and spiritually. His growth here has been astounding. The staff here are amazing and were able to create a lesson plan and curriculum based on his needs. They address all aspects of a child's development and offer different activities and experiences for them. He went through three different neighboring preschools before we found this one and we wished we had found it sooner.

This is our 2nd year at Ewa Plains Literacy Preschool and we are so glad we found them. My son began to read at home by age 3 and this was the only preschool I could find near me that will teach reading. He started a few months before he turned 4. Every day the teachers read with each child individually and my son was soaking it in. We were so happy to finally see growth in his reading within the first few months! He was so proud to read his homework books to us.I love that they incorporate our Hawaiian culture in their school. My son can say a hawaiian prayer to bless a meal, he went to the Kalo patch, made a plumeria lei, and learns hawaiian values in the classroom. He was also excited to learn about the continents, robotics/coding, addition, and counting to 100+. They also do chapel next door everyday and start their morning in class with a prayer. At Christmas they focus on the nativity play and I was amazed that my son and his little friends could memorize and recite their lines in front of a chapel full of families! The teachers are always helpful and Miss Jessica has always been reachable. They do quarterly parent meetings and provide you with very detailed progress reports. I love that they send you weekly pictures that you can download for your own memories. These teachers are amazing to stay on top of it! I get to see my son's progress and fun with his friends. By the end of the school year, my son was reading fluently and had mastered all the Kindergarten sight words. Now in his 2nd year, we continue to be amazed as he just keeps getting better. He will take on any book and sound like a real story teller. I'm told he completed their Kindergarten and 1st grade reading program! I am so impressed and proud of him, and also very grateful for his sweet teachers that took him above and beyond! To think back to last year, we forfeited tuition funds to keep him here because we knew he would be challenged. I toured at least 4 other preschools in Ewa/Kapolei which were more expensive, including one in a huge fancy building, but none of them had a program to help my son continue to read. (Check with them, I believe they accept PKS and Patch.) We're so glad we stuck with Ewa Literacy! Mahalo Ms Jessica and teachers for being here in Ewa for our keiki!

My daughter was in another school in which she was bullied and not getting the education we had hoped for. We worked together at home for some time before I found Ewa Literacy Preschool. This place is so wonderful and what they are doing here is truly special. My daughter has excelled in Math, Reading, Geography, Art Skills and so much more since she has been here. I am a true believer that early education is so important and to watch how excited my daughter is to learn and to share with us what she is working on her classes warms my heart. I can't say enough about the programming this Preschool has put together and will recommend this school to ANYONE who wants to watch their kiddo succeed. I love the communication between the schools staff and the families. We receive updated information, photos and emails every week on what is happening at school. This place is truly a blessing!

Update! My daughter is now in Kindergarten and is reading at a 3rd Grade level! For first quarter she earned all MP's (meets proficiency). She is also succeeding in math! It makes me so proud that she was able to learn the skills necessary to be successful in Kindergarten! Thank you so much Miss Jessica and staff for prepping her! Also, her ability to read fluently is assisting her in spelling!P.S.If the work your child's teacher is providing isn't stimulating your child, ask the teacher for extra work! They are more than willing to meet your requests. She is attending a public school in Ewa Beach.

My daughter has finished her second year with Ewa Literacy. I was determined to have her go here because of the remarkable improvement they did with my oldest son. In her first year at age 3 she started in the preschool class, in her second year she moved up into the Kindergarten class because she was doing so well. This school is known for their early reading and math skills. My daughter could read, write and do math with triple digits before she graduated preschool. Even through this pandemic the school remained open and focused on helping the kids no matter what. This Christian based school was exactly everything i wanted in a school for my kids. I wanted a school that would carry our beliefs throughout her day. They pray and learn bible verses teaching the kids basic social, and spiritual skills. I love how involved this school is with the parents, community, and aina. One year we went to the Lo'i and re-planted some kalo, another was pumpkin patch, etc. Another huge plus for us was the school had experience in prepping the kids for Kamehameha testing. They worked with my daughter from day one knowing what our goals were. And God has blessed my daughter with an acceptance into Kamehameha Schools! I cannot thank the wonderful staff here for all their hard work and dedication with my daughter and our family. All the teachers show so much love and patience. You can tell they LOVE their job. There isn't any other preschool i would send my keiki. I plan to send me youngest baby soon!

My daughter attended this school a couple of years ago and it was amazing. All the teachers are incredible. My daughter entered the school only able to verbally recite the alphabet at 3 years old, by the time she entered kindergarten she was able to read, write and do simple addition. They not only taught my daughter academics but I feel like they made my daughter fall in love with learning. They have a well structured but fun teaching style that creates an environment conducive to learning. They are a Christian based preschool and they start off each morning but attending Chapel. My daughter loved that! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this school. Miss Jessica and her team are thee best.

My son loves learning and is ready to go to school daily. Small class sizes allowed me to know each family in his class. During Covid protocols, this school has vigorous cleaning, and safety measures carried out daily. Learning is taking place and safety is evident.

I'm so thankful we chose this school! Please don't let the outside appearance steer you away! The teachers are genuine, the atmosphere is safe and full of love, and their preschool curriculum is superior. Their literacy program is top-notch. Both of my boys left the school reading above their grade level, and I love that the education is Christ-centered. They work closely with parents to come up with a personalized learning plan for each child. Mrs. Jessica truly has a heart for God and cares deeply about every family who has kiddos at her school. Being able to partner with Enrichment Academy was answered prayer. I highly recommend others to check them out!

My son has attended this Preschool for 2 years. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Ms. Jessica and the entire staff are the most caring child educators I have ever been around. They are amazing with all the kids! The learning/literacy curriculum is superb. This school leaves nothing to be desired. From the Christian based programming to all the fun holiday themed activities, my son has grown and thrived more than I expected. I am so thankful for this top-rated, safe and happy school :)
