Eric did our engagement photos and we were SO DELIGHTED with the way they came out. He devoted a whole afternoon to us and we went to a few different spots. Beforehand, he met with us about what we thought we might want the style of our shots to look like. He even was available to consult with me about what colors to wear! (And had patience when I wanted to change outfits during!) He was flexible and when we wanted to stop at an unscheduled space, he was encouraging of making the photo shoot reflect us as a couple!Seriously I think we kissed more during this engagement shoot than in the past year so it had the potential to be super awkward... but working with Eric was awesome. He laughed with us and we joked around the whole time. He suggested some really unique positions and views so our photos came out looking completely "ours".The quality of the photos, the timeliness and communication of the photographer and the skill with which Eric shoots, makes me certain he is our go-to photographer!

I found Eric Wehner Photography by luck on an internet search. After searching through about 50 sites, I had my search narrowed down to my top 3. Eric's photography was by far the best I found for style, flexibility and price. When I met Eric , I was not disappointed. Eric is fun to work with and takes a great picture. My husband HATES pictures and quickly warmed up to Eric's fun style.Thanks Eric for the great time! Can't wait to se the pictures!

I was extremely lucky to find Eric Wehner on the internet. After looking into 10+photographers, I decided to go with Eric after speaking with him on the phone. I chose him initially because I thought his prices were fair and he seemed like he would be great to work with.I had booked him without my fiance's knowledge since I planned to propose while in Hawaii and then have a photo shoot a few days later. Needless to say I had a lot riding on my decision to use Eric. My fiance and I met Eric at our resort (Ko Olina) about 30 minutes before our shoot. Since we had never met in person, Eric wanted some time to get to know us. He had also not photographed our property before so he came out even earlier on his own to scope the land which I thought was impressive. Our plan was to walk to the end of the property where there is a secluded beach and stop to take some shots along the way.This was our first time doing a photo shoot together and Eric gave us plenty of direction but was also open to our ideas. We ended up shooting well into sunset and left feeling completely satisfied.We were a little disappointed to learn it would take a while to see our finished photos mainly because we were so excited. Thankfully Eric sent us some sample images that served as a nice appetizer!I would without question recommend Eric to anyone wanting to have some professional photos taken while in Hawaii. He is extremely laid back, easy to work with, and most importantly a very talented photographer. You will not be disappointed.FOUR THUMBS UP!!!

We read about Eric on Yelp when we were looking for someone to take pictures of our daughter's first birthday party at home. He was AMAZING, I haven't even seen all the pictures, I just got a preview of some on his camera and they are pretty awesome considering he had to take pictures in our small little town home with all that terrible lighting! I knew it would be a challenge and he went far and beyond our expectations. He also really made us feel comfortable as well as the rest of our family when they arrived for the party which is a bonus (he knew some Korean which was especially great for the grandparents!). Even better, our daughter really loved him and magically changed into a baby supermodel for some shots outside in her hanbok. He's such a friendly, charismatic person! We will definitely be recommending him to friends and calling him for future events to take pictures!

My fiancé and I just had our engagement shoot with Eric. He was so professional and was just as excited about our photos as we were! His enthusiasm for photography was apparent from our first meeting through the end of our session. Before our shoot, we met at The Wedding Cafe so he could get to know us as a couple and get a feel for what we wanted out of our pictures. This was so helpful because it helped us be more comfortable on the day of. For our pictures, we met at our desired location, and drove up the coast, stopping at various spots. Eric has such a good eye for great photo opportunities and he really adapts to whatever you want. We were worried we would feel and look awkward in our pictures - because this was a completely new experience for us as a couple, but Eric made it easy to be ourselves and have fun. We were able to preview some of the photos and just as expected, each one was amazing. Overall, Eric exceeded our expectations and made our photo shoot fun and memorable.

I simply adore Eric! He is such a talented and creative photographer. My husband and I have now had the pleasure of working with him twice. The first was for our wedding, and now, nearly 8 years later we had a "pre-baby" photoshoot with him. I couldn't be happier with our results! He makes you feel completely comfortable and I totally trust him. Eric did a great job for us. With my husband gone on deployment until just a week before the ceremony Eric answered all my crazy questions with patience and really gave us a unique and beautiful wedding photo session in Chinatown, Honolulu. The photos he took are absolutley beautiful and I was super impressed he managed to get so many amazing shots because my husband HATES picture taking. I searched the internet for hours looking for the perfect photographer for our special day before selecting Eric based on his reviews and beautiful photo gallery. We wanted a photographer who we could trust to truly capture the love and FUN of our wedding at Lanikuhonua on Oahu. After speaking with Eric on the phone, I knew he was the right fit for us! He was fun, thoughtful, and truly compassionate. Furthermore, on our wedding day he was a saint! He was incredibly professional, organized, and obviously very experienced with all the chaos involved in the big day. He kept me focused and made sure I was relaxed and having fun the whole day (as plans changed due to last minute high winds)!We were so pleased with his photography style as well. Eric is a super star photographer!!!! He took our engagment photos and I can not stop looking at them, every photo is so good, I can not pick out my favorites. Eric really puts his heart into photography, and he got to know us as a couple so I feel like he captured who we are. His style is awesome, so laid back and fun!!!
