Elephant Walk

Great find for specialty gifts! My girlfriend on Guam asked me to find life is good t-shirts to bring back with me so that she could give them to her sisters as Christmas gifts. After searching online, there are several stores at Ala Moana that carry this brand, including Elephant Walk. When I called that store however, they mentioned that they are opening a new one on Lewers Street that would carry more designs - they only had 2.So off to Waikiki I went. I knew I would be in and out, so I parked in the Bank of Hawaii building's underground garage - $3 every 30 minutes is steep for a long outing but fine for this shopping trip. You can get validation at the Long's in the same building, not sure if there's a minimum purchase requirement though.After waking one street over to Lewers, to the retail area called the Beach Walk, I looked in vain for the shop. Finally I called the Ala Moana store again, and they said the new store might not have a sign up yet because they just opened the day before. Sure enough, next to Taormina Sicilian Cuisine, in the space formerly occupied by the Ultimate Foot Store, was a signless store front with men and women's clothing.It's a small space, but packed with specialty brands you won't find at the usual tourist stores. The life is good selection was perfect, with men and women's shirts and hats in a variety of designs. Best of all, they had a 20% off sale just for the weekend - which the friendly clerk said is a rarity since the owners hardly ever discount their products. So happy to have found this store, and to score a great discount for my friend since she asked me to buy 5 of those shirts, which are regularly $29.99.

What a hidden gem during our week long vacation earlier this month in Oahu and walking the walk along Kalakaua getting our steps in while shopping at a leisurely pace. Being very familiar with this street and the side street such as Lewers, I initially had my heart set on coming back to my favorite Kahala store as I have been a follower and purchaser of their aloha shirts for over 30 years. Little did I know that my wife, never liked the majority of the patterns that I would select and was about ready to purchase one when she pleaded wit me to put the item on hold. Walking across the street we walked into the Elephant Walk gift store in which Quinn immediately greeted our family and told us that everything was 50% due to the Labor Day week. We were the only customers there and on our first visit my wife bought a pair of Oofos slippers which complimented what she normally wears. 1/2 off and they had small sizes to boot! When we came back a second time she convinced me to try on the Tori Richard Men's Aloha shirts in which there were limited sizes in Small and Medium. Not wanting to piss off the wife especially on vacation, I acquiesced and was surprised that because of the style type, I was able to fit a Small and Medium size. Once again, 1/2 off so we bought them. On our third and final visit, Quinn was not working that evening but my wife bought a 2nd pair of Oofos and my son bought a T.R. shirt and you guessed it - 1/2 off. Great hidden gem and 5 stars to Quinn for his customer service skills.

Really good deals on Name Brand stuff -I save at least $100 -the products are 50% off. I saw a lady break a bunch of glass stuff on display by accident and the shop keeper was really cool about everything. You need to whip down here and get some clothing. excellent deal on stuff lt shirts for Christmas... really excellent expire early here ..

Best customer service and wonderful shop! The salesperson was super helpful and had great taste. Great selection of gifts for everyone! They even have hawaii themed dog toys! I not only bought a hawaii dress but also hawaii bandanas for my dogs!
