My dad took me here for lunch after early morning errand running. We got there a little after 10:00 on a Thursday, and although they weren't technically open yet, the worker quickly set up and took our order in a matter of about 5 mins. The food was prepared already so it didn't take long to get our food after ordering. Filipino food is not usually what I crave to eat, unless off course it's the Filipino food that my friends' moms make with love ! But taking my bias into consideration, I'd say that the food here was pretty good! I got the Pancit and adobo fried rice omelette combo, and my dad got the Pancit and pork adobo combo. The Pancit was ok. I wish there were the long green beans in them. The pork adobo was the star of this show though! In my fried rice omelette it defiantly provided lots of flavor and made the fried rice delicious! My dad also made a comment that his pork adobo entree "had good flavor." Overall, I'd say worth checking out if you're in the area when they're around!

I used to frequent Elena's in Waipahu weekly but haven't been there in a couple years because I retired and no longer frequent the Waipahu area. So after a walk in the Mililani Tech Park area I purchased a 2 choice lunch plate from Elena's Filipino Express food truck. The 2 choices were pork adobo and pork guisantes and it came with a lot of food and a lot of rice, very heavy lunch container. The plate brought back memories of lunching inside of the restaurant. The food was good, not great, but you get a lot of food for under $10. I think the food tastes better in their sit down restaurant because the food is fresher and hotter. I gave Elena's 4 stars because they were the best deal in the row of food trucks parked by Spectrum Hawaii. If you are really hungry this is the place for you.

My step-dad & I decided to pick-up lunch from the lunch wagons at Mililani tech park. I decided to buy from Elena's because they're my favorite & I would also go to their lunch wagon in downtown! Their menu is a little different from their normal menu, but I liked it better. You can choose between two choice or three choice plate and they also have adobo fried rice omelette. I got the lechon special three choice plate with pancit and monggo beans and it comes with two scoops of rice for $9.50. Their portions are pretty generous and everything is very tasty! I'm not a big eater, so I'm excited to take the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The worker was so nice & friendly and I hope we can go back sometime soon. And I believe that they're restaurant is also open for take-out. Always nice to support local and especially now during this crazy pandemic.

If you're looking for authentic Filipino food, this is the spot. I wish we asked for extra vinegar and pickled veggies on the side because it really takes their food over the top. I highly recommend the lechon special or guy fieri special, and the pork adobo. Get the vinegar!

Just what the doctor orders in cOld times, Sari Sari. It was deliciously perfect. The flavors were just right and warm for a chilly day. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. It was nice and soft. I'm glad I decided to eat at this truck. Especially since there are so many trucks to choose from

A friend had recommended this place but we didn't have a chance to make it out there. We happened on Elena's Lunchwagon at the Pan Pacific Festival on Kalakaua. Wow! There's a reason the Pork Adobo Fried Rice Omelet is their specialty. Pieces of pork adobo mixed into fried rice wrapped in an omelet - what a unique concept. And on top of that, tasty! They offer menu combo options and we opted for the omelet ($9) with the Lechon Special for an additional $3. The two of us split it and it was filling for two people. The Lechon Special was good. It's sort of a sisig style but a little on the salty side especially towards the bottom. Still, I'd order this again. They were also selling Lumpia Shanghai. But for $4 for two pieces, it didn't seem like a great value. They have a Las Vegas location so it's nice to know I don't have to travel off the mainland to experience their omelet and lechon again!

I have always gotten excited when I see the Elena's Food Truck in Mililani Tech Park. They aren't here very often and their lechon special and pork adobo fried rice is always a favorite. Unfortunately, the last few times I ordered the lechon/fried rice combo, I have been very disappointed. The lechon is almost inedible, hard, and chewy. I even had to spit out a few bites while I was eating because I just couldn't chew it. It tastes and looks like it was a few days old or leftover from the day before. I can't really even explain it, it's just not good. My coworker got the same thing and ended up throwing it in the trash. I'm not sure I will continue to eat here, since this has happened now on several occasions. Very disappointing.

Elena's food truck never disappoints. Well...unless they run out of ong choy. Lol! Service is great and food has so much flavor. My usual go to is a combo of fried pork and lechon special.
