Food? Good quality! I'm an old bat so spending $40 for two breakfasts and one drink is shocking but really, it was reasonable for the portions and quality. My partner had the Nomi Nomi (French toast) stuffed with Nutella. No syrup necessary! I don't even like French toast but this was delicious! I had the Spam and eggs Hong Kong style. Three pieces of Spam simmered in shoyu, two eggs cooked medium (PERFECT!) and finished in shoyu served over rice with a pineapple garnish. Love, love, love it! My favorite breakfast ever!I realize that it's more efficient and labor saving to serve the meals in takeout containers with disposable utensils but if the meals were served on tableware with real silverware, it would really make Ebi Nomi upscale.Service? You place your order, sit down in the lanai area, and your food is delivered. The young woman at the register was sweetness personified!Ambiance? None really but the lanai in the alley is as clean as possible when you have that many people transiting through the area. In the morning, it was super relaxing and inviting. We'll be back to ward off vampires with the Garlic Shrimp! Love this place!

It's been ages since I've had garlic shrimp, so that's what I ordered. Took about 10-15 minutes for my order to be prepared. There were 8 peeled shrimp and a lot of garlic. I love garlic. The shrimp were also plump. I enjoyed this dish.

This was my first meal in Waikiki and it set the bar so high for my garlic shrimp cravings! I was actually on the way to another restaurant but my friend and I saw the pictures advertising garlic shrimp and we couldn't resist but pivot and eat here instead. The shrimp was juicy and I loved the garlic and sauce. I tried many other garlic shrimp spots throughout my trip which were also fantastic but EbiNomi came out as number one. The man working there was so nice and sweet. I will definitely come back during my next trip!

We enjoyed the food we ordered from EbiNomi. On my first visit, my wife ordered the 4 piece Oyster but due to a mistake she was given a 6 piece order. The oysters were very fresh, nice batter and fried perfectly. I ordered a 3 piece fried shrimp, it had a nice light crispy batter and very fresh tasting shrimp. We went back a 2nd time and ordered a 4 piece fish and chips for me. My wife ordered the garlic shrimp (she normally gets the garlic shrimp from Giovanni's at the Hmart location).EbiNomi uses cod for the fish and chips which I love. The batter was good, fish was very fresh and fried perfectly. The fries were good but I like my fries a little more crispier. My wife said the shrimp was good but the garlic was overpowering and the rice was dry for some reason. The service is good and the gentleman who took my order was really nice. They serve breakfast too so next trip we will be back for lunch and dinner but we will try the breakfast too. EbiNomi is located behind Marugame on Kuhio. We give the Fried Oysters a 5, Fried Shrimp a 5, Fish and Chips a 4.5 and the Garlic Shrimp a 3, service a 5 for a 4.425 average for the food but bumped up to a 5 for our overall experience. For fresh and great food and good service try EbiNomi.

Food was soo ONO!! We had Garlic Shrimp and Chicken Curry and we would rate them 10/10. Ive had garlic shrimp from 4 places in Hawaii, including Giovanni's and EbiNomi is my Top 1 BEST Garlic Shrimp!! We also met TETSU from EbiNomi and he made us feel so welcome! He was very friendly and accommodating. EbiNomi is lucky to have him. The ambiance was also nice, it's an outdoor seating. Thank you, EbiNomi and Tetsu! We will definitely come back and recommend this place

Another great breakfast at Ebi Nomi which included their sunny-up fried eggs Hong Kong style over rice with fried spam and a pineapple chunk. The Hong Kong style includes a soy sauce-based drizzle over the top which provided great umami and just the right level of saltiness to complement the perfectly cooked spam and hot white rice. My friend had the eggs with spam and hash brown patties that was equally delicious, and a great way to launch the day in Oahu! They have plenty of other hearty plate lunch items as well, including signature garlic shrimp, so a terrific options during other times in the day.Service was also friendly and efficient, and they brought out our breakfasts to the outside set of tables that are used by all of the different restaurants in the small plaza, which allows for a fun al fresco dining experience too.

Found this place on tik tok. Food was really good, I ordered the ebi coconut scrimp. This was one of the best coconut shrimp I ever had. Service was good. It's a small place and it was hard to find.

This ranked top for Best of Hawaii 2024. Small pick up place and not that easy to find. Do you want a bag? Well that's 10 cents even if you eat there. Use your credit card? Well that's another 3%. There are a few tables outside you can sit and eat. Shrimp curry- this dish surprised me. It was delicious. We did get spicy it level which I might have gone medium but it wasn't too spicy the flavor was really good. I would get this again. Garlic shrimp - this was ok.

While exploring Waikiki, I stumbled upon Ebi Nomi, tucked away in a less conspicuous part of the area. Intrigued, I decided to try their chicken karaage, a Japanese style fried chicken. The presentation was promising, with the chicken arriving hot and freshly prepared in a clean box, suggesting it was made to order. However, my initial impressions were quickly overshadowed by the quality of the chicken itself. Upon tasting, it was evident that the chicken was overfried. The texture was devoid of any juiciness, and it lacked distinctive flavors, feeling excessively oily instead. This made the meal somewhat unpleasant, and I found myself regretting the choice as it left me feeling guilty about my indulgence. While the meal was technically edible, it was far from memorable. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend the chicken karaage from Ebi Nomi, nor am I likely to return for a second visit. There are certainly other culinary delights in Waikiki that promise a more satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.
