With a beautiful arched gate entryway this Shopping Center has been around for as long as I can remember.Surrounded by huge condos probably as old as this place you can feel the sense of nostalgia with its brick paved path leading you to a dated oasis of plants and poorly maintained koi pond with signs for elevators to pro at parking or condos I'm not sure as I did a quick street metered parking which is $3 per hour currently.Don't get me wrong it's a clean and somewhat relaxing vibe that takes you away from all the street noise and what not I'm assuming the pandemic had hit this place hard like many others and hope that if it's restored back to its glory it's actually a nice hidden spot.Thank you!

We followed Yelp's directions to find this location. It also has a photo of an arch but don't be like us. As soon as you see a big sign saying Public parking pull in before and to the left of that signed arch. That is if you choose covered parking vs street parking. We went specifically for one business so we didn't have a chance to explore the property and had never been here before. From inside the parking structure there are two entrances. One says Residential and the other, a few steps to the left says Commercial. We had arrived more than an hour early to perhaps grab a bite to eat. I saw there are at least a minimum of two eateries. One looked popular with a very small line entering it.I heard Japanese language being spoken by some people at one of the few outdoor tables. The business we visited did not validate parking. I saw steps leading down across the office we went to that heightened my curiosity. It looks like an interesting, safe, clean gated rectangular space worth exploring.

Located right at the entrance of Waikiki, Eaton Square is a blink-and-you'll-miss-it type of building. Located at 438 Hobron Lane, they offer a parking garage for patrons and the public. On this visit, we chose to park on the street, which arguably is more expensive than the per hour charge at the Eaton Square garage. Side note: surrounding metered street stalls are $0.25 for 5 minutes. If parking in the garage, keep an eye out for signage to get to the shops, unless you are heading for the residential area. I've heard it's quite common for people to get lost/turned around by accidentally going to the residential side when they really meant to go to the shops. Some businesses (think beauty services and medical offices) do validate parking, but not all. IF PARKING IN THEIR GARAGE: be aware that they only accept CC payment for parking, no cash!No attendant on duty after 2:00pm on most days. Below are a list of shops I saw on my visit:Aloha ToxicologyBe U SalonHiane SalonLaura Ozak, R.NManoa Canon Integrated HealthPacific Hair WaikikiShinji HairSteelsmith Natural Health CenterNikko GemsPacific InstrumentsSurf in the CityFood PantryKomedororo M'sKulu KuluSweet HaatoTlachuaches 808Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in WaikikiShah and AssociatesUnited States Post OfficeWorld Divine Light Not a super wide variety of things in terms of food/drink but does the job if you're in the area. Though a lot of their community tables and chairs have bird poop on them, and their koi ponds aren't very populated, I do enjoy being able to sit outside under the shade. There is a fish feed dispenser outside of Tlachuaches 808, I think its a quarter to get a small handful of fish feed!

I was minding my own business on the Ala Wai Canal. There I found my puffer fish friends. Almost every morning when I decided to walk with the doggo, I never skip Ala Wai Promenade. But one day out of curiosity, I decided to walk around Hobron neighborhood. (sigh) just building from left to right. Some are tall some aren't. But I saw this big gate and it read Eaton Square. A quick search on Yelp but unfortunately, not too much information about the area. So I decided to make my microadventure in here. The very first thing you'll notice is the place ain't busy. It's like a calm shopping center intended for the people living within those tall buildings & the neighboring area. I kind'a like it though. There is an array of tenants from food to banking, which creates a unique shopping experience.Services includes support center, salon service, health center, purple yoga, clinic specialist & post office.Chop chop rotisserie, Komedokoro, Kulu Kulu & food pantry (mini grocery store) are food hubs you can visit. TYs BBQ & Grill food-truck is in here nearby too (will gonna try their menu maybe this week).A gem that is pretty much of everything right? Who would have thought that in the middle of the bustling Ala Moana & Waikiki intersection lies this so-called promising Eaton Square that will offer you something good.Great find place to consider walking one fine morning ayt.Mahalo & happy juandering fellow [email protected]

A secluded little shopping village in the midst of towering outdated condominium towers, with a few shops and some professional and business offices. It's a throwback to 1970s mall architecture, with curved brick pathways and slopes and stairways leading nowhere in particular, brick trash bins built like tanks, brick-clad koi ponds, an always open back entrance that leads to the canal, faux street lamps with "bathroom this way" signs attached. Like many places in the pandemic the upper floors are part empty. It's just a very sweet place to sit, walk through, or visit. Calming, pretty, and there is a sense of gentle rightness about it. If you are looking up a shop, and it says they're in Eaton Square, you're in for some slow down reduction in stress.

I am so happy to see a new gem at Eaton Square! Refreshment Corner located on the 2nd floor next to the elevator. They have bubble tea, coffee, smoothies, ice cream, halo-halo and Acai bowls! Customer service is great too! The only thing is that this cafe is located at the corner and you barely notice it when you enter Eaton Square! Go find them in Eaton Square and support this locally owned business!

I love Eaton Square!Just a little bit of everything in here. There's something whimsical about this spot. It's a neighborhood nook that comes as a pleasant surprise one block behind bustling Ala Moana Blvd.
