The food was great as always. Service was attentive. Ambiance was romantic, fun, & party vibe all in one! It changes as crowd does. They show all kinds of sports from NFL football, MMA, & even high school sports. They even have live music, which is my favorite! Did I mention they also have karaoke? Sometimes they have special events like comedy shows, magic shows & night markets. They never cease to amaze me!We have tried everything & love all so far. My favorites are the crinkle fries with their mustard sauce, loco moco, stuffed cheeseburger, tofu fried steak, oxtail soup (on special), steak, poke nachos. Ok, that was a lot of faves. Honestly, everything is good. Come & try it all. You will not be disappointed!

Ordered the stuffed cheeseburger and the server told us they were out of it. Ordered the loco moco. Out of that too - out of hamburger. Okay, went with the Korean fried chicken, the sizzling ribeye pupu and volcano fries. Then 5 minutes later the manager comes out to tell us they're out of the Korean chicken sauce! I think it was because the server was embarrassed to tell us they were out of something else again. He offered to top the chicken with another sauce. We agreed since the food was already ordered 5 min ago. The plates came and the Korean chicken had the same sauce as the volcano fries. The sizzling ribeye was overcooked, not medium rare as ordered - I wouldn't blame this on the cook - it's the thinly sliced steak they are using.Despite being out of almost everything we asked for, the lack of effort in subbing the Korean sauce, and the overcooked steak, this place was worth a second try. BUT every dish was consistent in having way too much garlic. Don't get me wrong, I love garlic. But it's too much when you brush your teeth and use mouthwash twice and it's still there. This probably makes a good spot for drinkers but not foodies. It's decent bar food at best.

Great service, food, and hospitality! Love this place for a quick after work drink or a weekend brunch spot. I'll update my next review with pictures but some of my favorite things to order are the poke nachos, pork belly, tofu fried steak, and fries of course. Check them out they also play football, baseball, and golf on their tvs.

One more thing. I think they ran out of the bread for the garlic bread as we were served what looks like a slice of Sandwich bread cut into three pieces. Oh boy.

After a round of golf at the Moanalua Golf Course, we met with my husband's in-laws for breakfast/brunch at E Ohi Restaurant. The quaint, casual, low-key restaurant overlooks part of the historic 9-hole course, a view of Kaiser Moanalua through the trees, and the parking lot. The restaurant is the second building past the course starter and clubhouse. We sat on the veranda overlooking the parking lot, where our friendly server, Billie, greeted us. She pointed out their daily specials posted on a nearby chalkboard while handing out the menus and took our coffee beverage orders. The front side of the menu listed breakfast, pupus (appetizers), and salads, and the menu's backside listed entrees, sides, and keiki (children). When Billie returned to our table with our beverages, we were ready to order the Golfer's Breakfast Special we heard so much about. Our foursome made it easy since we wanted the same menu item. Meanwhile, the clubhouse started to fill with others, and I noticed that only Billie managed the front of the house, and there appeared to be only one cook on duty.We sipped on our coffee and iced water while having a fun get-together and didn't mind the 30-minute wait for our breakfasts to be delivered. The Golfer's Breakfast Special was a typical local-style and filling meal, but we noticed a discrepancy on our plates since we only received one scoop of fried rice instead of the two as advertised.Nonetheless, the local-style breakfast special cost only $15, we received several coffee refills without asking, and we enjoyed the company of my husband's in-laws, so the wait time wasn't a problem.

E'ohi is one of our favorite places to visit, especially during traffic rush hour. We'll have food and drinks while we wait for the traffic to die down and we also take food home for the kids. The service and food is top-notch, and the owners are very friendly and courteous. We have probably tried every item on the menu lol. Our ultimate favorites are the lemon garlic cream pastas, sizzling kalbi, sizzling steak, burgers/hamburger steak/loco moco (made w/homemade patty) & fried saimin w/added shrimp or meats. We appreciate the variety of entertainment they have... live music, karaoke, magic shows, and comedy nights. We have made many new friends there over the months, which has made us feel like a part of the family.

First of all, the service was good. My glass was never empty. The waitress checked in on me several times and assured me my food was being worked on. Thank you! But I've been twice now - once in a group with restaurant half full, and once alone with NO ONE ELSE in the restaurant. Both times on a weekday for late lunch, around 130 PM. Both times it took a zillion years to get our food. The first time I figured, hey, maybe they're a little overwhelmed, maybe it's a bit busier than usual. We had ordered a variety of things: salad, pasta, burgers. I gave them a pass. Ooh but this latest visit was something else. I waited nearly 40 mins for my one creamy lemon pasta dish. This would have been fine if it had not been a weekday and I wouldn't have had to get back to the office. But seriously?! Are they harvesting the wheat to make the pasta? Slaughtering the chicken? I don't know! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this dish and I want to come back and get it. And I want to tell all my friends about it. But what happens behind the curtain that makes it take so long? Parking is free, the location is central, the food is DELICIOUS, the restaurant is clean, and the wait staff is lovely. I just want it to happen a liiiiiitle bit faster. Please?

Breakfast in Moanalua, Honolulu, Hawaii...Using my Yelp app, I found a restaurant at a golf course! Moanalua Golf Course is supposed to be the oldest course on the island! It only has 9 holes...E Ohi Restaurant is on the second level of the main building. Restrooms are downstairs - men's on the left and women's on the right. Don't expect a boujie place. This is old school...The restaurant is an open-air, casual, local style place with Aloha-spirit service. It looked like a new gal was in training. Everyone was friendly and welcoming!I decided to get the Golfer's Breakfast, which included a pancake, fried rice, Veggie omelet, spam, Portuguese sausage, bacon, and link sausage. The veggie omelet had tomatoes, onion, spinach, mushrooms, onion, and cheese in it. The fried rice tasted like garlic fried rice, and it had some bits of kamaboko in it! I gobbled down the pancake first because it had a little crisp on the edges. I didn't finish my meal because a fly landed on my fried rice. I kept chasing him away, but when he landed on my omelet, I gave up. LOL!I would return and order more menu items! Parking was free and easy! I appreciate that!

This place looks scary on the outside, but once you enter, it is full of aloha, and they truly treat you like one of their family. This place has a full menu of lots of great food and you will have just as hard a time deciding as I did.I didn't know what to get because everything sounded great, and it really was (according to the rest of our group). I got the stuffed cheeseburger and it was fat and juicy and I could barely finish half of it. It came with large cut french fries. We had two appetizers, the poke on top of nachos and the shrimp scampi. It was fresh and served with avocado on a bit of crispy fresh fried tortilla chips. Shrimp scampi was garlicky and wonderful, served with small slices of toast. This is a must-try hidden gem!
