Doug Fitch Music

Local, Hawaiian music is something that can transport you to nostalgic times, and Doug's music does just that. Although I haven't hired him for an event yet, he is definitely at the top of my list when the big day happens. Whether it be a wedding or a birthday party, Doug is someone you want there to make your day special.

I hired Doug for a last minute funeral where I wanted someone to play uke for my father's homegoing service. He made himself available on very short notice, was very timely and appropriate with his music and the utmost professional. I can't thank Doug enough as his music made the funeral special. I can only imagine how great his services would be under better circumstances like a wedding or other party. Thank you Doug.

My son was getting married and last minute I'm without music, I called Doug and was blessed by his calender having a open moment where he could be there for us. Doug performed at our wedding ceremony in Honolulu and he was great. He made sure to work with us before the wedding to make sure we get the songs we wanted. His music was very soothing and fitting for our special day. He's also Very flexible and at a reasonable price as well. If any of my friends or family decide to get married in Honolulu, I'd definitely recommend him. Hire him! It's the thing to do really!

Seven years ago, I posted this review online: "My husband and I got married on Dec., 8, 2008 and you performed at our reception at the Hau Tree Lanai Restaurant. You did an amazing job! We were truly, truly honored to have you perform, and your musicality was the perfect touch for our reception--it helped make the reception both Hawaiian and very tropical in nature. THANK YOU!I just wanted to extend an extended thanks. Ever since that trip to Hawaii (my third, Justin's first), Hawaii has played an increasingly large role in our household. In particular, many thanks for spending a great deal of time with our own resident musicians and for playing Iz's "Over the Rainbow" as our wedding song. Doug has become one of our dear friends. His music still plays in our car, and our two little boys are familiar with it. We were honoured to spend time with him on our two most recent trips to Oahu - hiking, at a concert, and at a moonlit picnic on the beach together. Doug is an amazing musician, person and friend. My husband and I had no idea that 8 years ago, the joining of our lives would also mean the development of some amazing friendships. We are so thankful to have Doug and his beautiful music in our lives. Anyone who hires him gets more than just some great music...you also get to know an absolutely fantastic person.
