The lady on the right was straight up rude because I didn't come out of my car ?
Disappointed with the orchid lei I bought. Way too short for an adult.
Beautiful lei's.

12-19-22 we pulled into the lei stands. There aren't as many stalls selling leis like in the past.At least two sellers had signs like kamaaina or military discount. Not sure if it's a gimmick to draw you in but it made no difference in the final price of the lei.I wanted a simple lei to welcome my daughter home for winter break. This booth had the sweetest lei seller who called me Darlin' in every sentence.Because of the wind and rain yesterday she told me she just wanted to make a little bit for the day then go home.Working in conditions affected by the weather must have its ups and downs. They sure must get their free doses of Vitamin D on a nice sunny day.Fortunately they have a sheltered part of their booth. Since it was just past the noon hour another person was having her homemade lunch in there.I chose a simple orchid and tuberose lei. It looked and smelled fresh and pleasant. The first booth tried to sell me a lei unfit for sale and also a ginger lei that smelled like old socks.I made a Snaggle Puss move and "Exit stage left" to Dorothy's and I'm glad I did. Please check out the quality and variety of leis before you buy. Normally I would buy leis in Chinatown except parking is a challenge. Here at the airport there's lots of parking stalls available. In the past we always thought airport leis were more expensive.BUT, it's convenient if you're welcoming a dear one home or greeting a malahini from out of Hawaii.Hope the tradition of giving a lei at special occasions becomes popular again once the pandemic is no longer a menace to people's health.

I stopped in to purchase a couple of leis and while she was tying the leis, I noticed the orchid lei looked shorter, but I didn't speak up. When I got back to the office to examine the lei, it was really short. Too short for an adult. Also when I took a closer look, the orchid petals didn't look as fresh. The prices are reasonable so just make sure you check your leis before she bags them. Cash only.

Every lei they sell here is FRESH. AMD the price is ALWAYS right..Check their neighbors and you will quickly notice they sell their leis at a better rate as they are fresh. Some of the other lei stands will sell you cheaper leis if they are older and on the clusp of dying. By far the most honest and trust worthy stand in the area.

This lady was rude and told me to leave because I was parked over 10 minutes. She said she will call security and then she took her water hose and started shooting it at my car. I got out and walked past her and brought leis from two lei stands down.

This review is specifically for Stall 3 of Dorothy's. Ripped me off by charging me $110 on a $20 lei. I agreed to purchase a lei for what I was initially told was $30. I get the receipt and it's $130!! I asked for a refund and the auntie countered with an offer of a $20 lei, then a refund for the remaining balance of $110 back to my card. Months later, I check my statement and she charged me $110. It's outside the window for me to dispute the charge. AVOID these scammers and buy your lei well in advance of the airport.
