Got the apple fritter, but there were lots of options I wanted to try. The apple fritter was $5 before tax, which is a lot for a donut in my opinion, although they are pretty big. The donut was crispy and delicious, even after I got it later in the day. The woman in the shop was super sweet and attentive. Hope to come again soon to try another flavor!

I came here with my family and ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant, a regular croissant, a glazed donut, a cake donut with sprinkles, and a croissant donut.This place might be called Donut King, but the bacon egg and cheese croissant was legit - it was huge and quite tasty. They warmed it up for us, which made a big difference. It was on the pricey side, but definitely filling enough for one person's breakfast.The glazed donut was solid - nice, light, and fluffy texture with just the right amount of glaze. The cake donut was just ok. The croissant donut had an enjoyable flaky texture, but was a bit too sweet for my liking.The space is small, it's just enough space to walk in and order from the counter. There's a 3% added surcharge to use a credit card instead of cash. Parking was pretty easy, as it shares the big parking lot with other stores.

Little donut shop with a variety of delicious sweet treats. There was a little bit of a line but it moved fairly quickly. I wanted to try their croissant bites which was mini croissants with a glaze on top. It was not bad, pretty good. I could honestly eat like A LOT in one sitting knowing me. But i bought a dozen and knew it had to at least last me the whole day so I couldn't just eat it all at once. The only con is that the donut shapes aren't consistent. Some are a lot bigger and some are very small. So if I ordered half a dozen or a dozen, I would want to get my money worth and not take a chance on getting a tiny donut.

I'm a sucker for sweets and good donuts. Was strolling in this strip mall in Kailua and came across Donut King. Decided to take a peek and see what they had. To my surprise they had some good choices. I got a plain glaze donut, cookie butter glazed donut and a dozen croissant bites. All were amazing. The croissant bites looked like they were deep fried but to my surprise wasn't oily at all. It had a nice glaze on it and tasty....but to be honest...addicting. The glaze donut were so light and fluffy and the glaze was just right! Service was fast and good but the entry area was quite small. You could only probably fit one family at a time or two separate people in at once. But overall good donut place to try.

Simply Amazing. Donut Kind Hawaii at Kailua is serving up some of the freshest, airest donuts on island (for a reasonable price too)! They are most known for their bacon donuts which was sold out by the time I got there. So of course, I had to try their classics. I got a glazed, chocolate, and cinnamon sugar donut. All three were spot on amazing. No complaints. The cinnamon sugar was my favorite. It had just a good amount of sugar to the point where I wasn't jumping off walls. Service was excellent as well. The aunty working was so sweet and grateful we came in. 10/10, I would come back.

There are no words. We were coming home from breakfast and had to pull over for a post-breakfast treat. ;-) Donut King never disappoints. So fresh, soft and delicious. Mind you....technically we were not even hungry! The maple bacon donut is simply....heavenly. And loaded with so much bacon the bits kept falling off with each bite I took. Now that's my kind of "problem". Perfect location. Loads of easy parking. Super pleasant setting. We ate at an outdoor table mainly because we could not wait to take them home to eat them. My only gripe is that they ran out of cute stickers. ;-)

My family loves Donut King. It's nestled right inside Kailua town. They have a wide selection of donuts and croissants from filled to unfilled. They're generously sized and delicious. Did I mention these donuts are also warmed? Salivating. You can head next door to Morning Brew for a hot cup of coffee too.

Love this cute little donut shop! Ever since i moved back from the mainland, where I lived, there had a donut shop on almost every other corner. I noticed that there aren't many donut shops around here so seeing one made me so happy. Usually when I come in, there's always a sweet lady that works there and she provides friendly service and is so sweet. My favorite item(s) to get are the Croissant donuts/Croissant Donut Holes. So so good. It's crispy, flaky, with such a delicious glass that's not overly sweet, but perfect.

Donuts are incredible. Took me back to the 60's when donuts were king. Also has good service.
