A very weird turn of events lead me here- a conversation with one of my clients visiting Oahu about how I walk with a slight lilt (think small hops when walking), him happening upon Ken who works here at DNA, my client calling my workplace and leaving Ken's info for me, I run a 5k and get tendinitis in my ankle and referred to get physical therapy and BAM! Here I am getting treated! All within 2 weeks time of each other!I'm very happy to have met and worked with Ken. I've seen him 4 times (I have 12 sessions prescribed), and my tendinitis is pretty much all gone. Just a tiny bit of stiffness left in my leg/ankle. He is a very warm and professional physical therapist, and time flies by every whenever I see him. The first visit he was very thorough in checking out my ankle, posture, how I walk etc. He was even able to "read" my flip flop and tell me all about how I walk just from how the shoe was worn down! Incredible! Every time I go, he massages my leg, compressing and stretching it to loosen it up. He also has me do different stretches and exercises to further mobilize it. Very effective practice!I've learned so much about myself and have so much more awareness! He's even given me tips on how to further improve in my performance skills (light contortion), which is another one of his specialties! I definitely recommend him for both recovery and enhancement of present athletic skills! AND he works with kids and adults alike! What are you waiting for? Go see Ken!!

Ken knows everything about the human body and how to make it work at its fullest potential. I saw him when I started prepping for a bodybuilding competition because I had torn a hamstring two years ago and I thought the rest of my body was being affected by it. Turns out I was right, but Ken found out exactly what was going on. He is a genius and brilliant at what he does. Not only did he take care of my leg, but he explained WHY my body was being affected the way it was and how I could take care of myself in the future. Only people who truly care about others will bestow as much of the knowledge they've learned so that we can become educated ourselves. After seeing him, I was no longer scared about the training I would have to do for the competition because I knew how to take care of myself thanks to him. If you're looking to improve your balance, understand your body and feel better about your body, then you need to see Ken at DNA Rehab. You'll be blown away at what he teaches you about your own body.

I've had countless injuries and nagging issues with my body for years that I couldn't seem to fix with different physical therapists and chiropractors. After a few weeks with Andrea my body felt better than ever and I was able to return to sport without worrying about injury again. While other therapists out there focus just on the injured area, Andrea takes a holistic approach to assessing the root problems and that results in long-term health instead of short-term relief. I recommend Andrea to anyone who wants to move better or come back from injury.
