With the numerous vendors out there, my wife and I stumbled across D-Lyte because our friend hired him for their wedding.At first we were on the fence but after emailing him he was a very accommodating guy.What I love about him is his packages are customizable and can help fit any budget you may have.His speaker system is top notch and what we loved about him is he was able to accommodate everything we requested!5/5 for this guy. Very quick to respond. Awesome communication, and execution is spot on.Our wedding wouldn't have been amazing without him!

DJ D-Lyte was the DJ and MC for our wedding in June 2022 at Turtle Bay Resort in Oahu. We alsohired him and his team to setup/run a photobooth. I appreciated how responsive and organized he was in all our email correspondence. His client portal was straightforward to navigate within, and had a thorough questionnaire for us to fill out (which detailed the song list and progression of MC announcements). In addition to providing high quality service, he was extremely kind and easy to work with.

I got the pleasure of meeting DJ D-LYTE at our Christmas party last year and ended up hiring him for my best friend's wedding! He was very accommodating and worked with me on planning the perfect and memorable wedding for my best friend! He was able to work with the vibe we're going for right away. His extended music knowledge and experience as a DJ made the whole planning process smooth and stress free! He was also very flexible with our our budget, party time and other minor request to make it unforgettable! Well. You get what you pay for. Dwight was fabulous about working within our limited budget and we truly appreciate it, but I REALLY wish he hadn't diverted so much from our playlist to accommodate the requests from guests. I think we heard maybe 6 songs that we had actually put on our dancing playlist and the rest were songs supposedly requested by our guests, including one that we had specifically put on our DO NOT PLAY list. So disappointing. Dwight had told us we could always tell him if we weren't happy with what he was playing, but at your wedding, between mingling with guests and taking pictures and stuff, who has time to run and talk to the DJ?? That's why we spend MONTHS planning. Along those lines, we called him 2 weeks before to go over all the names he'd have to say...day of, he mispronounced our last name repeatedly and didn't go in the correct order for our bridal party entrance. Additionally, I wish we'd known that the cocktail music wouldn't be able to start immediately after the ceremony. We'd thought he was bringing a separate system, but since it was part of the same one, he had to spend about a third of cocktail hour breaking it down and setting it all up again. These hiccups are unfortunate, but it makes a bride feel like why spend months and months planning the perfect wedding if the vendors aren't going to treat it like it is a special day and take the time to make it that way?That said, I do appreciate him playing 2 extra "last songs" even as we were starting to clean up and providing us recordings of our vows.

Dwight was the best DJ and I cannot express how grateful I am to him for helping out at our wedding. He played a great selection of music both catering to the young and the old and got everybody on the dance floor!! Leading up to the wedding, Dwight had superb communication and replied quickly via email and was always available to chat on the phone. He was helpful in recommending other vendors as well as giving suggestions for the timeline to help things run smoothly. His equipment and skills are top notch, but what is most outstanding is his kind and patient character. He is punctual, professional, and made our day so very special for us. Thanks for throwing a great party for us, everybody had a blast!! Dwight, you are the man!! Mahalo!!

Dwight is awesome! He'll support any event. He provides the best system and will accommodate whatever you request for your party. I like how you can request any song and he'll find it for you!

DJ D-Lyte made our event a complete success. For starters, DJ D-Lyte was very accommodating with our song choices - we were looking for more island music and jock jams as our event was an outdoor, sporting event. He met with us several times prior to the event to confirm playlists and agenda of the party. On the day of the event, DJ D-Lyte was prompt with arriving on time to set up his equipment. He worked independently and had his station up and going in no time. DJ D-Lyte did a great job at keeping our guests engaged and really helped out with making unexpected announcements throughout the party. I would definitely hire him for my next event and recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ. Thank you, DJ D-Lyte for making our party a hit!

Dj D lyte is so friendly and helpful. He really was fantastic to work with. He came on time did not give us trouble. We had a grad party on a Friday so I believed he worked and had to travel home and come back. But he did a great job with setting up and he gave a great price. I did submit a playlist and maybe he only wanted a few songs just to get a feel of the vibe we wanted, however, I put all the songs I wanted to hear. I wish he played all those songs. But nonetheless I know if I had asked him he would've played the songs I requested but I was too busy during the party. But all in all a very stand up guy and accommodating. He was not one of those kind of guys you have to tip toe around make sure you don't ask for too much because he might snap. He was flexible and did what we asked for at a very reasonable price.

Well.....we decided to get married during the COVID-19 outbreak. Half our guests weren't able to come, but DJ D-LYTE's presence was never in question. He responded to emails almost immediately. He was a totally positive and awesome person to interact with as well! As I mentioned prior, half our guests couldn't come. We had a venue and wedding planned for 120 and DJ D-LYTE was still able to make the party fun and full of energy. We also decided to get the photo booth, which was the best logistical decision we made for our wedding. Everyone had a great time taking pictures and getting immediate hard copies as photos. They also produced a guest book type of photo album for people to sign which we took home the night of our wedding. It was amazing!!I honestly couldn't review anyone more positively.

I am a wedding planner and I have worked a handful of weddings with DJ D-Lyte and his team! And every event they give it their all to make sure our client and their guests are happy and enjoying themselves!!! Dwight is great, he's personable and easy to work with. I appreciate that! And being flexible is key when it comes to making weddings and events work. Timelines are great but things happen and how vendors figure things out and make it happen in a matter of minutes, seconds is a must have on my team!
